Chapter 362 Control
Chapter 362 Controlling~
Inside S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury leaned against the wall with his hands on his hips, his gaze fixed on Thor, who was sitting in a chair not far away, enjoying a cheeseburger.
At this moment, the goofy guy gripped the hamburger bun tightly with both hands, taking a small bite of the beef and feeling the high heat from the juices bursting in his mouth. The taste of the cheese made Thor sigh with satisfaction: "I have to say, the food you Midgardians make is really delicious!"
"In Asgard, we only ever have roasted and boiled meat."
Watching Thor finish his last hamburger, Fury smiled and said, "Don't worry, although you've lost your divine powers, I believe you'll regain them sooner or later!"
Like investing in advance for dividends, Nick Fury decided to invest in Thor early. If he succeeded, great, he could reap countless returns, but if he failed, it wouldn't matter much; at most, he would only be responsible for Thor's future meals.
S.H.I.E.L.D. is a large and powerful organization, so they can afford to feed an ordinary person.
"Thank you!" The simple-minded Thor didn't think too much about it. He was quite moved and looked at Fury, saying something like, "This prince will repay you in the future."
But when Thor picked up another glass of iced cola, he paused for a moment, his hand gripping the glass.
The reason is simple: a man wearing a green robe and a golden helmet decorated with reindeer antlers appeared in a corner not far from Thor at some unknown time.
This guy had long black hair, but his dark green eyes gleamed with a cunning glint, enough to leave a sinister and treacherous first impression.
"Brother!" Thor stared in shock at the figure that had appeared out of nowhere in the room.
As family members who had grown up together, Thor blushed instantly: "Oh, little brother, did you sneak off to see me because you were worried about me?"
As he spoke, the burly giant blushed and strode toward his brother, opening his arms as if to give Loki a hug.
"Sorry, my brother, I didn't come to see you." Facing the enthusiastic Thor, Loki, the Son of Deception, crossed his arms, a slight smirk on his lips, and let Thor crash into his body.
Swish!
A dark green light flashed, and Thor found himself passing through Loki's world.
"Okay, so you used an illusion. I thought you would come in person."
Thor was somewhat disappointed, but his mood didn't last long before he was startled by Loki's next words.
He heard Loki's voice beside him: "Father is dead. He was driven to his death by your anger!"
Loki's voice wasn't loud, but to Thor it sounded like a thunderclap.
"What?" Thor looked up blankly. "You, you're kidding me, right, Loki?"
Their father, Odin, the king of the gods, was wise and powerful, and Thor had always regarded him as an idol to be emulated.
But now, hearing that his father had died so suddenly, Thor instinctively chose to doubt.
"Sigh," Loki said, gently swaying his green robes, "You still don't understand, do you, my foolish brother? Father was driven to his death by you!"
"No, that's impossible!"
Thor was struck dumb by these words; his legs trembled uncontrollably, and he immediately flew into a rage.
"This is fake, this is fake, isn't it, Loki!"
"Loki, say something!"
"Loki!"
Thor charged at his brother in a near-mad frenzy, but Loki stepped forward first, his figure flashing through the wall, delivering another fatal blow to the already "low-health" Thor.
"My father asked me to tell you before he died that he never wanted to see you again in his life."
As Loki spoke, he passed through the wall and came outside, while Fury, inside the room, stared blankly at Thor, who was talking to himself.
The other person was perfectly normal at first, but suddenly stood up and started crying and laughing, saying things that Fury couldn't understand.
First the God-King, then his younger brother, and then his furious weeping—this made Fury feel a pang of regret.
Could it be that I've brought along a crazy prince?
After all, this guy doesn't seem like a smart person.
At the same time that Fury was contemplating whether he should come up with a way to get Thor to leave.
Sixth Avenue in New York City had been cordoned off with bright police tape by the arriving S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.
"Heh heh, foolish mortals."
Loki strolled through the area, staff in hand. Using illusion magic, he was difficult to spot, and ordinary people could not see through his magical disguise.
The man swaggered across the warning line and walked into the deep pit.
He was actually quite curious whether Odin's curse was real. If he could lift Thor's hammer, would Thor's power also belong to him?
With this thought in mind, Loki lightly leaped into the pit.
Then he saw a man with a small mustache groping Thor's hammer.
"Damn it, we really can't pull this thing out." Tony cursed. "Gino, what kind of qualities did you say needed to lift Thor's hammer?"
"A brave, upright, and kind person." Gino shrugged, but glanced indifferently at Loki standing in the corner.
"Um?"
Loki noticed Gino's gaze and narrowed his eyes slightly.
Did the other person glance at me just now?
But perhaps it's just my imagination?
After all, Earth is full of native monkeys, so how could anyone see through their magical disguise?
"Heh, these idiots."
With a silent sneer in his heart, Loki strode toward Thor's hammer in the deep pit.
But then, something terrifying happened.
As he moved, the blond boy's eyes followed him.
"OK!"
Loki abruptly stopped, and as he raised his hand, Asgardian magic flashed and transformed into several dark green arrows.
Swish!
As Loki waved his hand, magical arrows whistled towards Gino's location.
"Damn bugs!"
Loki's eyes flashed with anger as he crossed his arms and watched as countless arrows covered the boy's body.
The cunning Loki naturally had no good attitude towards humans; to him, killing a person was no different from crushing an ant.
"Um?"
Gino looked at the incoming magic arrows with some surprise, and with a light wave of his hand, he swept the magic arrows into the garbage heap as if sweeping away trash.
The eerie green magic arrow was extinguished by a gust of wind, turning into specks of green light that flickered like fireflies dancing in the night and rose into the sky.
"you?"
Loki was taken aback when he saw his magic so easily dismantled. A hint of surprise flashed across his sinister face.
How is that possible?
"this one?"
Gino frowned slightly, withdrew his arm, and commented on Loki's performance: "Your magical manipulation skills are not even as good as Constantine's."
