Chapter 215 Gods and Fists
Chapter 215 Gods and Fists
Above the newly built metropolis.
"Boom!"
Violent explosions echoed continuously from within the clouds, like thunderbolts cast by the gods. With each explosion, the surrounding clouds were sliced apart like a white cream cake.
Collision, punches, and more fighting!
Viewed from the tower called Lonely Fortress, the two figures resembled falcons battling in the sky, each collision eliciting gasps from the crowd in the metropolis gazing up at the heavens.
"This guy is unbelievably strong."
The Batman of this universe sighed, his middle-aged face filled with shock and fear.
"I'll go help him." Diana was ruthless and didn't say much. Without another word, she bowed slightly and prepared to fly into the sky to help Gino fight alongside him.
"No, wait." Batman squinted and stopped Diana. He said, "Perhaps Gino doesn't need our help."
On the other side, Clark touched his nose and immediately remarked, "You don't happen to be itching to fight after seeing them fight, do you?"
Diana glared at Clark, and the big boy shrank back in fright.
"Then why can they all fly while you can't?" the woman retorted angrily to Clark.
"Me? I can't fly? I... I just..."
Clark was speechless.
"Shut up, they've started fighting." Batman rudely interrupted the two, holding up his binoculars and staring intently at their battle. But as the fight dragged on, even the hard-hearted Batman couldn't help but feel a sense of powerlessness.
How can we possibly defeat a monster like Gino Luthor?
Batman had a vague premonition that he might spend his entire life searching for the answer.
"Snapped!"
The powerful fist whistled as it slammed towards the figure he deeply hated, but was easily blocked just before it struck the cheek.
"If this is all the ability you have, then I suggest that suicide is an option you might consider."
Standing on the clouds, Gino casually flung Clark away as he attacked him.
"You don't belong here!"
Adjusting his position in mid-air, Superman manipulated the bio-field to hurtle towards Gino like a cannonball. He raised both fists and approached Gino at a terrifying speed.
"Go back to your own world!"
"Then perhaps you should try to convince me with your fists." Gino cracked his neck, a smile playing on his lips. "Provided you can do it."
He raised his right hand and snapped his fingers lightly. In an instant, a silver-blue light shone from his back, and a pair of pure white angel wings appeared. Then, countless Gino suddenly appeared out of thin air around Clark, so numerous that they almost filled the entire sky and blocked out the sunlight above the metropolis.
"You can't stop me!"
Injustice Superman roared, his already serious face becoming even more ferocious.
A red cloak billowed, and a red light gleamed in those azure eyes: "Buzz!"
The dazzling heat rays cleaved the sky, sweeping past countless Gino, destroying the figures scattered across the clouds, and exploding in the air with golden light, like a series of grand fireworks igniting the entire sky.
However, as the golden light exploded, Gino's figure continued to multiply, seemingly endlessly consuming and wearing down Superman's stamina.
Finally, after using his heat vision to "kill" the last batch of clones but failing to catch Gino's figure, Clark, standing high in the sky, spoke with a hint of clenched fist: "Laughable idiot, do all the superhumans in your universe only know how to hide?"
He clenched his fists, raised his chest, and surveyed the surroundings, roaring like a supreme god: "Come out and face me!"
"OK."
Before he could even finish speaking, Gino's voice rang out from behind him.
"They're behind!"
Superman was overjoyed, his eyes glowing red again, and he was about to split Gino in two behind him.
He turned around with lightning speed, his burning gaze like a scalpel blasting at the blond boy.
"Sizzle!"
The scorching heat seemed to ignite the air, striking Gino's chest like two sharp swords.
To Superman's disbelief, the scene he expected to be disemboweled did not occur. The boy still wore the smile that Superman found repulsive, spoke calmly, and acted with composure.
The power was increased again, unleashing an even more terrifying heat-seeing bombardment than before.
Let's stop here.
Facing the scorching heat of Superman's gaze, seemingly weary of the opponent's offensive, or perhaps too lazy to waste any more time, Gino yawned and slowly took a step forward under Superman's horrified gaze.
"Snapped!"
Like stepping on an invisible glass platform, facing the grand, scorching beam of light, Gino walked step by step, unhurriedly and calmly, toward Injustice Superman.
Calm, composed, domineering, and fearless.
The aura emanating from the young man was like invisible mountains pressing down on Bu Yichao's heart.
For the first time, Superman, who considered himself invincible, felt a sense of fear.
He was horrified to discover that his hands were trembling and his body was shaking.
He, his super brain, his reason told him he should run away.
However, his self-righteous pride made him pause once, yearning to defeat Gino to prove that he was still the omnipotent Superman.
"Lies don't hurt, the truth is the sharpest knife." Seeing through Bu Yichao's intentions, Gino shook his head and sighed in disappointment, "He can't even have a clear understanding of himself."
"So failure is also..." As the boy finished speaking, the moment he raised his right leg, golden, radiant lightning enveloped Gino's entire body.
In the next instant, it vanished at a speed incomprehensible to all living beings.
The beam of light, having lost its target, hurtled towards the distant skyscraper, slicing through the ten stories of the building and destroying it.
"Splat!"
As the high-rise building collapsed, a sharp pain shot through his eyes. Bu Yichao felt as if two sturdy "chopsticks" had pierced his eyes, but the warmth embedded in his eye sockets made him realize what had happened.
That person, whom he considered a coward, actually stabbed two fingers into his eyes!
"Aaaaaah!!!"
A heart-wrenching wail echoed through the sky. Blood, crimson blood, flowed like water from under the eyes, wetting the corners of the mouth and staining the uniform red.
Clark clutched his face in agony, the intense pain leaving his mind blank as his uncontrolled bio-force field dissipated.
Like a fallen eagle, it cried out as it crashed down upon the skyscrapers and cities below.
Boom!
Like a sharp sword piercing through tall buildings, its power undiminished, it crashed into dozens of tall buildings like a meteor, shattering them and carving deep trenches into the earth.
An absurd thought, one I had never considered before, surfaced in my mind.
As Clark lay sprawled in the smoke-filled pit, a desperate thought crossed his mind.
He's blind!
"Splash!"
Hearing the sound of wind coming from not far away, Bu Yichao knew that the man had arrived!
What awaits me?
