Chapter 133 Batman's Anti-Superman Armor

Chapter 133 Batman's Anti-Superman Armor

"Batman, what do you think?"

The hall was in disarray, and Gordon looked grave.

"This robbery was unusual; according to statistics, the kidnappers transferred hundreds of thousands of dollars in just a few seconds."

"This is a criminal with superpowers."

Batman calmly offered his conclusion, flicking his cape with a rustling sound before stepping towards the fist-shaped mark.

"That's insane."

Gordon sighed. Up to this point, he could only accept the reality that superpowers existed in the world.

Batman ignored Gordon's complaints. He stared intently at the fist marks on the wall, reached for his belt, and found a strangely shaped firearm in his hand.

"Beep~"

A metal device, similar to a barcode scanner, projects infrared light for scanning.

Immediately, a complete diagram of a fist appeared on the instrument screen.

Batman's lips twitched downwards, revealing his classic "doubtful" expression.

"The robber is 1.87 meters tall, and his skeletal development suggests he is around 16-17 years old."

"Strong and tall physique."

Batman pursed his lips. The criminal's physical characteristics didn't match the two mysterious figures he had identified at all; the mysterious figure was several centimeters taller.

"It is known to possess extremely high speed and super strong skin defense capabilities."

This is undoubtedly a formidable opponent.

"So what are you planning to do?" Gordon pushed up his glasses and asked.

"Don't get involved in this." Batman said coldly, drawing his grappling hook from his belt.

"Wait! I'm a police officer, I should..."

Gordon tried to persuade Batman to stay, and he could tell that Batman was concerned for his safety, but Gordon's duty as a police officer prevented him from staying out of it.

However, all he could see was Batman shooting out his grappling hook and flying towards the upper floors, then disappearing like a dark cloud.

Standing atop the rooftop of the Wayne Bank building, Batman gazed down at Gotham City, the night wind howling through the gaps in his armor.

Batman said in a low voice:

"Ah Fu, retrieve the surveillance footage from the lobby and the surrounding streets."

After being brutally beaten by the mysterious masked man, Bruce invested heavily in upgrading the surveillance cameras in all the hidden corners of Gotham, enabling them to record high-definition, lossless images.

Soon, countless video images popped up under the Batman mask. Most people would be overwhelmed by the sheer number of images, but Batman was able to accurately identify the video images he wanted to see.

"Retrieve video footage from outside the bank building and inside the bank."

"Sizzle~"

The sound of electricity flickered, and soon the many images disappeared, leaving only two images in Bruce's view.

"Set the time back to one hour ago."

The video starts playing in reverse.

People walking outside the bank, and customers conducting business inside the bank.

Until a guy wearing a red hood came into Batman's view.

"Afu, pause, zoom in!"

The video freezes, and the image zooms in.

Soon, Batman noticed the newspaper that the red mask was holding.

Batman gave a slight smirk: "This is the clue."

"Whoosh!"

Batman lifted his wide black cloak, like Death descending from the night sky, and leaped down toward Gotham City.

Luther Castle.

"Buzz~"

The expensive off-road vehicle roared and kicked up a cloud of dust, then came to a smooth stop in front of the castle's iron gate with a graceful drift.

The car door opened, and Clark, wearing expensive sunglasses, a pricey black trench coat, and black trousers, stepped out of the SUV.

Clark took out a heavy burlap sack from the back of the truck and walked toward the castle, whistling.

The old butler had already opened the iron gate.

"Welcome, Mr. Clark. The young master is having breakfast."

"Take me there, I haven't had breakfast yet." Clark patted the old butler on the shoulder with a smile. He was in a good mood, after all, he had just robbed hundreds of thousands of dollars from Wayne Bank.

Although he couldn't take that much with him at once, Clark hid it in a secret place and then returned to Smallville with some of the money.

Stepping into the magnificent hall and gazing at the breathtaking classical architectural style, Clark shook his head in admiration: "Honestly, I want to build my house like this someday."

Gino was sitting in a chair drinking milk, while two pretty, tall maids gently massaged his shoulders with their soft hands.

Seeing Clark walk in, Gino raised an eyebrow, a strange look flashing in his eyes.

The boy looked at Clark with a smile: "How was the trip to Gotham?"

"Not bad, I made a little money." Clark smiled wickedly and tossed the sack in his hand in a rather pretentious manner.

The zipper came undone, and a large stack of Franklin slid out of the bag.

"I'll give you the extras; after all, we're friends."

Gino smiled knowingly, rested his chin on his hands, and stared at Clark with interest, saying, "Wow, looks like our Clark has become a millionaire?"

His gaze swept over the ring on the finger, and Gino said meaningfully, "But have you ever heard of Gotham City's masked vigilante, the guy called Batman?"

"Batman?" Clark scoffed, letting out a cold snort. "A pathetic character who likes to dress up as Zorro."

"What can an ordinary person do, Gino?" Clark picked up the milk the maid handed him and drank it all in one gulp, his eyes gleaming with fanaticism. "Do you remember what you once told me? Wolves and dogs are different."

"The future belongs to people like us!"

"The future belongs to people like us."

Inside the cold, dark bat cave, countless bats with their heads tucked into their wings inhabit the cave above. In the pitch-black night, the eyes of these small creatures gleam red, making them look eerie and mysterious.

Bruce sank into a chair, watching dozens of robotic arms assemble a massive steel suit of armor. He took a sip of his coffee, his expression calm.

This is the armor he began preparing after his battle with the mysterious man. It combines iron and mithril, making it incredibly sturdy, and has internal boosters to compensate for its speed.

"Young Master Bruce."

Butler Afu walked into the bat cave with his hands behind his back: "Are you sure?"

"That's right, Alfred." Bruce spun his recliner to face the computer screen above him, which was displaying the analysis of the newspaper fingerprints. The results showed that the fingerprints belonged to a high school student named Clark Kent from Smallville High School in Kansas.

Alfred followed Bruce's gaze to the screen: "So what are you planning to do?"

"He's not a bad person, he's just blinded by material things."

Bruce rested his chin on his hands, staring at Clark's youthful file photo on the screen, and said quietly, "I intend to guide him onto the right path."

Judging from the fact that the other party only knocked out the security guard instead of killing him outright, there might still be a chance to save this person.

Afu voiced the worst-case scenario: "What if he doesn't want to?"

Bruce stood up. Batman always had countless plans. His gaze swept over the robotic armor behind him: "Then let's persuade him by force!"

"Now, book me a flight to Kansas."

Afu nodded: "Then, Young Master Bruce, under what pretext?"

"Investment," Bruce replied without hesitation. "Go in the name of investment."

He was very curious about what was so special about this town that could nurture such a powerful human as Clark.
