Hogwarts: From Selling White Peppers to Becoming a God
Chapter 63 Agent
Chapter 63 Agent
Boris was about to charge when he suddenly heard a voice from somewhere, "Don't kill him, we still need information!"
Boris growled and went downstairs. Soon after, gunshots rang out from the first floor and the courtyard.
Murphy looked downstairs and saw Boris switching back and forth between human and bat forms. With his jumping and high-speed running, he made it impossible for the security guards to keep up with him, and the bullets missed their mark.
Even when he is occasionally hit, he doesn't care at all thanks to his superhuman regenerative abilities.
But it was as if he had eyes in the back of his head. No matter where the enemy was hiding and shooting from the shadows, he didn't need to look to know their location and would seize the opportunity to kill them instantly.
Murphy guessed that this was probably because becoming a vampire gave him the ultrasonic tracking ability of a bat.
A few minutes later, the gunfire subsided, and Boris, covered in blood, walked upstairs.
"Not bad, has your rationality returned?" Murphy revealed himself and asked.
"My head still feels a little heavy, but I can control myself now."
Boris rubbed his head. The explosive bloodlust he had felt earlier, especially after drinking the blood of so many drug dealers, gradually subsided. Although he had killed many people, he still maintained his rationality. He didn't lay a hand on the girls playing in the yard and let them escape.
Murphy nodded, sizing up Boris.
He was quite surprised that vampires were so powerful.
Although it was only against Muggles, the fact that it could slaughter so many heavily armed drug dealers and cause a bloodbath was enough to demonstrate its combat power.
In truth, the vampire's abilities are nothing special, and their individual strength is not high. However, when they are combined into a single, permanent instinct rather than just a magical buff, they can unleash power far beyond expectations.
This can be seen as confirmation of the deformation pathway.
"Monster..."
Itzhak Milburn felt he might be going crazy.
He saw his men being torn apart by a ferocious monster that sometimes turned into a bat and sometimes into a human, and then he saw a man appear out of nowhere. Fear and confusion made his hand holding the gun tremble uncontrollably, and he wished he could immediately aim at the two monsters in front of him and empty the magazine.
But his last shred of reason made him throw down his gun, kneel on the ground, and plead, "I surrender, please don't kill me, I don't care about your purpose, please don't kill me, I have a lot of money, I can give it all to you. Please, please don't kill me."
Boris stepped forward and grabbed Ytzhak with one hand. "Where's Marianna?!"
"Who?"
“Marianne Hampton!” Boris said, pulling a photograph from his pocket. “That’s her. Where did you put her?”
Yitzhak stared at the photograph for a long time, then suddenly his face paled in shock. "I, I, I don't know, I've never seen her."
"Impossible! You're lying!" Boris roared, baring his fangs as if he couldn't resist tearing the person in front of him in two.
Murphy stopped him. "Let me do it."
After saying that, he cast Legilimency on Yitzhak.
After a long while, Murphy rubbed his temples and muttered, "Damn it, this guy really is a fucking scumbag!"
Murphy witnessed the evil life of a drug lord.
This was a pure evil. He committed numerous serious violent crimes such as robbery and rape when he was just over ten years old. As he grew up, he became even more unscrupulous. In just over ten years, he directly killed no fewer than dozens of people, not to mention those indirectly caused to die.
Where is Marianna? Is she still alive?
Boris knew that Murphy had the ability to read other people's memories, so he couldn't wait to ask.
"She's alive," Murphy nodded, "and right here in the basement of this villa. But she's not doing well, so be prepared."
Boris was initially delighted, but the thought of his sister's possible fate slumped him again, and he felt an urge to tear Ytzhak to pieces.
Murphy then used a petrification spell to petrify Yzak, and then, following his memory, led Boris to a basement entrance.
Upon entering, they discovered it was actually a three-story underground prison.
There are still more than 20 people being held here, mostly girls, and even a few children under the age of ten.
They were all slaves waiting to be sold.
Murphy and Boris quickly found Marianna. The girl was unrecognizable; her hair was disheveled, she was covered in filth, emaciated, and had many festering wounds.
According to Yitzhak's recollection, Marianna was "lucky" enough not to have been sold yet because she had fallen ill, and the traffickers were worried that she would die during transport and they would have to pay compensation, so they did not sell her for the time being.
Murphy used Apparition to first send Boris and Marianne back to Boris's residence. Then, Murphy released the rest of the people. Finally, after taking all the cash and gold and other valuables from the Ytzhak mansion, he took the drug dealers away and burned the villa to the ground.
Boris was baffled by Murphy's decision to bring the drug dealer out. "Why not just kill this monster?"
Murphy shook his head. "Wouldn't that be too easy on him? Don't worry, I won't let him get away with it. I'll make him suffer a terrible death."
"Let's not talk about him anymore. What are you going to do? You're no longer an ordinary human being; you shouldn't stay here any longer."
Boris hesitated for a moment, then said, "But Marianne needs my care..."
"Come to my place; there is plenty of room for you."
Boris looked at Murphy for a while, then asked, "Is there something you want me to do? Tell me, as long as it's not something immoral, I'll do it."
Murphy raised an eyebrow. This guy is pretty smart. It seems the mistakes he made before weren't for nothing.
"I haven't introduced myself yet. I am Murphy Darkholm, a wizard."
"wizard?"
Just think of him as someone with superpowers.
"Okay." Boris wasn't surprised, after all, he had already witnessed Murphy's amazing power.
"I am still the boss of Umbrella Corporation."
Boris was slightly surprised but didn't say anything, continuing to listen to Murphy, "I can offer you a job and will do my best to help Marianna recover. I will pay off your debts and give you enough money to ensure your grandmother can enjoy her later years in comfort."
Boris frowned slightly upon hearing this. "I'm not coming back, is that right?"
"Yes."
"Your job mainly has two aspects. First, you will serve as a test subject to provide research data for my institute. Of course, although that's the case, I will ensure your safety. Most of the time, you will only need to undergo a full medical examination."
"Do you have a question?"
Boris shook his head. He had roughly anticipated this outcome when he injected the real blood, so it wasn't surprising. "I can agree."
"very good."
"My second job. I need you to replace me and become my agent in Muggle society."
