Chapter 453 God of Deception and Lies

Loki sat at a distance.

Hades was in high spirits, and the Aesir gods were locked in fierce battle with the monsters of the underworld. No one noticed that a raven flew out from Odin's severed body and fled into the distance.

While he was still in shock and uncertainty, Thor had already lifted an old head from the collapsed palace of Valhalla. "Mimir, my eyes."

The wise giant Mimir's sorrowful face showed a pleading expression, but he still had no choice but to open his mouth, which contained a crystal clear blue eyeball.

As he spoke, he swung his hammer, and Hades suddenly turned into black smoke, trying to escape. But at that moment, a long sword burning with flames suddenly emerged from the ground and pierced Hades' chest from behind, freezing him in place and rendering him unable to move.

Thor's hammer crashed down, unleashing boundless lightning that tore Hades to pieces.

"Light," Thor said, as a halo-like light rose from behind him.

"Chaos." He spoke again, reaching out to crush a fragment of Hades into a wisp of twisted black smoke, which he then stuffed into his mouth.

In an instant, his body swelled up, the sun above his head was as hot as a real sun, and his face gradually changed. His nostrils lengthened and feathers grew out, and a pair of eagle-like wings appeared behind his arms.

An ancient, supreme, and noble deity, resurrected after countless eons.

Atum, Kebli, Horus, Amon.

Ra, the sun god, the god of rebirth, the god of wisdom, the creator of life, the ruler of the earth, the sky, and the underworld, the supreme ancient god-king.

Loki watched all this from a distance, not at all surprised.

He had long noticed some unusual things about Apollo and had made some guesses about his relationship with Amon and Ra.

"Foreign gods have stolen my eyes and wisdom, sealed my power, and deceived us, the Aesir. Zeus and Hades, they are the true instigators of Ragnarok! We, the Aesir, are destined to fight the Olympian gods!"

Loki heard this from afar, smiled slightly, and turned to leave.

The war here is not over yet.

The resurrection of Ra and the power of thunder that Thor possesses both point directly to Zeus, the chief god of Olympus.

Ra, or Apollo, had not yet completed his plan to "kill his father with his son" and thus seize the throne of the Olympians.

However, Loki had lost interest in watching any further; his experiment here was over.

The Norse gods' "Ragnarok prophecy" largely stemmed from the Norse peoples' fear of the Roman Empire, and the Greek gods, or rather the Olympian pantheon representing the Roman gods, naturally became the ultimate driving force behind Ragnarok.

Loki, however, was unharmed from the fire. The deadly flames were like a gentle breeze to him, sweeping away the dust and disguise from his body.

The fire licked away the skull patterns drawn on his face with chalk, revealing a handsome and resolute face.

The fiery, unruly red hair was burned away, losing its false color and returning to its original jet-black smoothness.

The boy turned his head slightly, glanced at the gods behind him, took out a pocket watch-like object from his pocket, and then suddenly disappeared.

The experiment is over, and everything is ready.

He temporarily shed the body of the god of trickery.

He was going to the next era, where he would prepare another great lie for the gods.
