Hogwarts: From Selling White Peppers to Becoming a God

I need to take a leave of absence.

I haven't been able to update much these past two days. There's been so much going on since the Lunar New Year. I was supposed to have some free time today, but I ended up taking care of the kids this afternoon. I was putting them to sleep just now, and I fell asleep myself... When I woke up, I realized it was this late and I hadn't written a single word. So I had to ask for a day off.

The reason for the lack of updates these past two days is that we've been working on the storyline.

I was pressured by the daily update quota, and my enthusiasm was almost exhausted. My writing was dry and ugly. By the time I finished writing 4,000 words each day, it was already very late, and I just wanted to go to sleep as soon as possible.

But this won't do. I feel the quality of the book is declining, so I might as well stop and take a break to polish it properly.

This book is nearing its end. Whether it's good or not is another matter, but at least I need to write a complete story. Just as Dumbledore believed that the meaning of life depends to some extent on death, I think the ending of a book also represents its scope to a certain extent.

Therefore, I want to fill in all the plot holes I dug earlier and make the whole story coherent.

I've roughly figured out the ending, and I've also finished the detailed outline for the remaining parts today. It involves several wild ideas and tricks, which took a lot of brainpower. I don't have much time left to polish it, but I think that as long as I write down half of what I envision, it should be enough to impress everyone.

Anyway, tomorrow... oh, today, I should be able to resume normal updates today.
