Chapter 404 Flying Door Anywhere

"Raise it a little higher, pull the clothes down, okay, don't move. Why did you close your eyes?"

"I'm a little scared. Mr. Murphy, please be gentle."

"Don't worry, it'll be over soon."

Murphy, holding a syringe, looked at Sophia with amusement as she closed her eyes and turned her head away. "How old are you? Still afraid of needles?"

"Fear of needles has nothing to do with age!" The Queen desperately turned her head away, wishing the shoulder about to receive the injection wasn't her own. "Please hurry..."

Murphy smiled, disinfected Sophia's fair shoulder with a cotton ball, and then suddenly shoved the syringe into her.

The high-pressure jet instantly injected the medicine into her body. The Queen only had time to let out a soft groan before Murphy pulled out the syringe.

"Okay, that's all."

"So fast?" the Queen asked, somewhat surprised. "I didn't really feel anything."

"..." Although this showed that he was a highly skilled acupuncturist, for some reason, Murphy found it a little unpleasant to hear.

"Hmph, get excited too soon," Murphy said. "It takes six weeks of continuous injections once a week to be permanent, but the effects should be visible now."

As Murphy spoke, he took Sophia's small hand, pulled out a UV flashlight, and shone it on the back of her hand. "How does it feel?"

The Queen shook her head.

"It wouldn't normally take effect that quickly, but we've added some potion ingredients to it."

"Alright, Your Majesty, you may now go for a walk."

At noon, Sophia walked along the sky street, still holding an umbrella, but this time she carefully extended her hand outside the umbrella, then tossed it aside, basking in the sunlight. She took a deep breath and smiled happily, "It feels like it's been so long since I've been out. It's so nice, the smell of sunshine. Thank you, Murphy."

They were walking toward an archway, the inner edge of which was burning with green flames.

"What is this?" Sophia asked curiously, as there shouldn't have been such an archway on the Heavenly Street in the past.

"Take a look at the other side," Murphy reminded him.

Sophia approached and looked towards the other side of the archway. What should have been the other end of the Sky Street was now a bustling street with many wizards coming and going. The shops on both sides were full of goods, and at the end of the street stood a milky white building.

In the distance, you can still see the words "Wizard Central Bank" written on the top of the building.

Sofia's mouth formed an "O" shape. She knew Murphy had turned Gringotts into the Central Bank. "This is Diagon Alley?!"

Murphy smiled. "That's right, this is the Flood Door, one of the achievements of the Space Magic Technology Group."

"They studied FlooNet and found that it is a basic application based on the Magic Network system. In theory, as long as you are within the Magic Network's coverage area, you can move through FlooNet. Even Apparition and Portkeys are advanced applications based on FlooNet."

"The FlooNet fireplace requires two-way authorization for the highest security and stability. We felt it was a waste to use it only for point-to-point one-time transmissions. After some adjustments to the FlooNet technology, we changed the FlooNet protocol and added a private line, which is what you see now."

"Are these green things Floo Powder?" Sofia asked.

"Yes, Floo powder is the key to orienting and maintaining the passage. We embedded it in the arch, and it will continue to burn. This arch is actually equivalent to a permanently open Floo net fireplace."

"There is a Floo Powder storage device under the arch. When there are no people or objects passing by, it consumes about 0.1 grams of Floo Powder per hour. Murphy said, extending his hand, "Let's go check out Diagon Alley. You probably haven't been there before, have you?"

As Sophia stepped through the archway, she glanced back and saw that they had come out of the entrance of a potions shop. Murphy naturally took her hand, and they looked like an ordinary couple strolling around town.

However, given their looks and demeanor, how could they be ordinary? Wherever they went, they attracted a lot of attention, and some people even recognized Murphy and whispered among themselves.

"What are you doing?! Hands up, stand up!" an Auror shouted, frowning.

The person who was squatting stiffened for a moment, then slowly turned around in an awkward and strange posture. Only then did Auror see the other person's appearance clearly, and was immediately startled.

The "person" had a huge head, but its limbs were disproportionately thin. It had fin-like things growing on the sides of its face and at its joints, making it look like a fish-man from the sea. However, unlike ordinary fish-men, its lower limbs were not fish tails, but two long webbed legs.

But what horrified the Aurors even more was that the murloc's tattered clothes were covered in blood, and its enormous mouth was filled with serrated teeth, with a piece of what looked like intestines still remaining.

The person beneath it had already been disemboweled, and blood was everywhere.

"What the hell is that!" A startled Auror raised his wand, but the merman lunged at him.

A scream rang out in the alley.
