Hogwarts: From Selling White Peppers to Becoming a God
Chapter 361 Voldemort Potter
Chapter 361 Voldemort Potter
Katie Bell had disappeared again, and Murphy led Lucas toward the entrance of the auditorium.
Sure enough, the gate was gone.
After walking through the thick fog for a while, he would soon return to the podium or the dining table, or arrive at the staircase leading to each floor. However, the door that had been open when he came in was nowhere to be found.
Hogwarts is under lockdown.
This was somewhat expected.
Professor Flitwick just said that this might be a ritual magic, and it should have an origin.
And that source might just be a "locked room".
Murphy led Lucas away from the auditorium, preparing to find the girls' restroom where the entrance to the secret room was located.
But the spatial arrangement within the school became extremely strange. He was clearly preparing to go upstairs, but somehow he ended up in the underground classroom, where he even encountered Snape.
Snape sat on an empty chair in the classroom, his eyes fixed on a thin, red-haired figure standing next to a potions table.
The girl flipped through the book while working on the materials on the workbench. After a while, she stopped, looked at the potion in the cauldron, and then at the book, seemingly wondering why what she made was different from what was in the textbook.
At that moment, Snape stood up, went to the potions workbench, reached out and fiddled with a material on the table.
"Ah, I see. I forgot to add mistletoe berries..."
The girl picked up the berry, threw it into the crucible, stirred it, and a delighted smile spread across her face. She then looked around, asking, "Is anyone here?"
"I'm here, Lily. I've always been here."
However, the other party seemed not to hear her words. She received no response, so she tidied up her tools, filled the potion in the cauldron, glanced around again, and got up to leave.
Snape slightly opened his arms, but the phantom simply passed through his body and disappeared.
Snape stood there, motionless for a long time.
"Professor, you're not going to stay here the whole time, are you?" Murphy asked. "Do you know what's going on at the school?"
Snape slowly turned around. "Murphy, is it for real?"
"How about I punch you in the face and you feel it?" Murphy said irritably. "What happened here?"
"Dense fog," Snape said, bewildered. "The fog suddenly rolled in, and then I saw Lily. I followed her; she would disappear and reappear, but finally she stopped here... I seem to be able to influence her, or the things around her, the latter being easier, but she can't see me..."
"Wait a minute," Murphy frowned, "you said the fog just rolled in. What were you doing before?"
"I'm making an antidote, nothing special."
"Are you aware that three students have gone missing from the school?" Murphy asked.
"What?" Snape was stunned. "How is this possible? Why didn't anyone tell me?"
Murphy frowned. If he was still doubtful before, he now had some clues.
Time and space in Hogwarts have become distorted; it seems to have become a place connected to the past, and the space itself has become extremely chaotic and twisted.
But how is this done?
"Professor Snape, I suspect the Chamber of Secrets has been opened. We need to go check it out. Do you want to come?" Murphy asked.
"The Chamber of Secrets?" Snape exclaimed in astonishment. "Who opened the Chamber of Secrets?"
"I'd love to know too."
I initially thought there might be some kind of trap set by a saint in the school, but now it seems that this phenomenon is not just targeting me.
Who exactly is behind this?
……
Due to the disorganization of the space, it took them quite a while to reach the third floor.
However, as soon as they stepped onto the stairs, a spell was cast from the mist.
It was actually a killing curse.
The green light startled Murphy and the others, but a raven suddenly flew out from behind Murphy, then transformed into a green lightning bolt and struck the spell.
With a bang, the crow exploded into a bolt of lightning, but in mid-air it transformed back into a feather and returned to his back.
After using the Raven Array Antenna as an Avada Kedavrat cannon several times, some of the Lightning Ravens seemed to have become tainted by the magical energy of Avada Kedavra. This manifested in their appearance, with a green phosphorescent flame often burning on their wings, and their eyes turning from jet black to emerald green.
The lightning formed from these crows also turned green, and unlike ordinary lightning, it had a certain instant-kill effect.
In their energy form, they are also immune to Avada Kedavra's damage, making them perfect for blocking the Death Curse.
The explosion cleared part of the thick fog, allowing Murphy and his team to see the people behind it.
A young man in a Slytherin school uniform stood there; he was tall and thin, and the uniform seemed a little ill-fitting.
The moment Murphy saw his face, she was startled. "It's you?"
Lucas was even more shocked than him. "How could this be? Without the Philosopher's Stone, who resurrected you...?"
The young man also looked at Lucas, "You...who are you? Whose body did you use? No, no...so, what went wrong with the resurrection?"
Standing before the three men was none other than Tom Riddle, an eighteen-year-old Tom.
He was tall and thin, with a handsome face, much like the sixteen-year-old Murphy had seen in his diary, but he looked more mature.
"Come here, Tom," the eighteen-year-old Voldemort said to Lucas. "I don't know what happened to you, but you should come to me."
Murphy stepped forward, blocking Lucas's path. "Sorry, she's mine now. Exes, just disappear, okay?"
He was actually a little confused about what had happened, but since the other party was Voldemort and was blocking his way, there was nothing to hesitate about in doing what needed to be done.
The next instant, he pounced on him. Just as the other party raised his armor spell, he raised his wrist and used a ranged levitation spell to lift the other party's body into the air, causing his magic to become unstable for a moment.
Voldemort's armor charm was not broken, but Murphy seized the moment when the charm wavered, reaching out a hand that passed through it.
His hand didn't pierce the armor spell quickly enough to be considered an attack; the spell offered almost no resistance, and his hand went straight in, grabbing the other's neck and squeezing hard.
With a terrifying cracking sound and a clucking sound like a chicken being strangled, Voldemort's head slumped to one side. At the same time, countless bolts of lightning shot out from Murphy's hands, some of them tinged with emerald green.
In the blink of an eye, the human body in his hand turned into a charred corpse emitting smoke.
Voldemort at this age is still too inexperienced. His combat strength is roughly equivalent to that of Snape, which is still some distance from Murphy's current level. He might not even be able to defeat Lucas at his current level.
Murphy then searched the charred corpse again but did not find any Horcruxes on it. This guy seemed to be the cautious type, and he wouldn't carry Horcruxes with him.
Moreover, the ease with which this guy died gave Murphy a premonition that this probably wouldn't be the last Voldemort he would see today.
Sure enough, after Lucas used Parseltongue to open the third-floor girls' restroom and enter the secret room, Murphy saw a figure standing by the sink again.
"Voldemort."
The other person's magical aura was almost identical to that of Voldemort from before, making it impossible for Murphy to mistake them.
But when the other person turned around and revealed their face, Murphy was still taken aback.
The boy, about fifteen or sixteen years old, had a head of rough black hair, wore a Gryffindor uniform, and stared at him with a pair of red eyes behind his glasses.
"Oh, Professor Murphy." Harry Potter grinned, revealing a mocking smile.
"Long time no see."
