"Teacher, we've found it."

Upon returning to the magic research institute, Lucas reported some good news.

"Primordial substance?"

Lucas nodded. "There's an ancient ruin in Ireland with very powerful protective magic. We sent many spellbreakers to break it, but there was no original substance inside; it was just a signal reflection caused by the protective magic."

"It's similar in Germany. It's an unregistered wizarding school that's been abandoned, but it still has some powerful magic."

Haldane showed Murphy a cross-sectional diagram. "This pearl has three layers. The outermost layer is not much different from an ordinary pearl, and most of its color comes from here. The middle layer is a reflective and buffering material that can reflect most of the energy radiation from the core layer back. The core layer is the original substance itself. Surprisingly, it seems to be liquid, and according to some of our test results, it seems to be... a drop of blood."

Murphy was taken aback. "What?"
