Hogwarts: From Selling White Peppers to Becoming a God

Chapter 34 My Wand is Thicker and Longer

Chapter 34 My Wand is Thicker and Longer

Murphy glanced at the wand placed on the podium.

A little over twelve inches, made of white cypress... it's definitely my wand.

His wand was knocked away by Lucius's disarming spell, so he immediately used his spare wand to retaliate. Due to the urgency of the situation, he didn't have time to retrieve his wand.

But then his Fiendfyre spell destroyed everything, and Murphy thought the wand had been destroyed.

I never expected that Lucius would remember to take it with him even under those circumstances.

He might be more meticulous than he originally thought.

Next, the judge used a flashback charm on the wand, and spells were recalled one by one from the wand.

Armor Charm, Petrification Charm, Throwing Charm, Disillusionment Charm...

Clearly, the owner of this wand was indeed in the midst of a fierce battle before being disarmed.

Next came Apparition and Fiery Spell.

"Look! Fiendfyre!" Lucius shouted. "This guy knows Fiendfyre, and he's very skilled at it. That proves he's a dark wizard!"

Then continue forward.

Forgetfulness Spell.

Capture the spirit and seize thoughts.

Forgetfulness Spell.

Capture the spirit and seize thoughts.

Forgetfulness Spell.

Mind control...

Everyone was a little confused. What was he doing? Was this guy practicing a spell?

Then continue backtracking.

A large number of Apparitions, a large number of potion-related spells, the occasional common standard spells, and quite a few everyday spells are all normal.

But soon, an intriguing spell appeared.

The Cruciatus Curse!

"Look!" Lucius yelled again, "The Cruciatus Curse! The Unforgivable Curse! Murphy! You still say you're not a dark wizard!"

The Flashback Spell ends here; it's the most powerful Flashback Spell wizards can cast, and going back any further is practically impossible.

"Murphy, what else do you have to say?" Lucius finally looked at Murphy with a triumphant air.

The latter shrugged. "What's it to me? It's not my wand. And Lucius, how about you take out your wand and use the Flashback Charm? I guarantee we'll see something even more amazing!"

"Don't try to be unreasonable!" Lucius was a little nervous; he dared not actually let someone rewind his wand.

"I knew you'd try to deny it, but I have witnesses who can prove this wand is yours!" Lucius quickly drew everyone's attention back to the trial of Murphy. "Judge, please bring in Frey Shafiq and Belinda Pound."

Before long, Murphy saw Belinda, who had gained even more weight since he last saw her, and Freys Shafik, who had a new scar on his face.

Tsk, poor Freys, the guy who treated him used too much white peony root, it's no use. If he used my white medicine, there would be no chance of scarring.

"Belinda Pound, do you know Murphy Darkholm? What's your relationship with him?"

"Yes, Mr. Malfoy. He was a former employee of the Pest Consultation Office and was my subordinate. But I have nothing to do with this lazy fellow!"

"Oh, how could you say that, you fat pig?" Murphy retorted without any politeness. "I'm almost heartbroken. Have you forgotten how much I raved about you last time?"

Someone in the judge's dock chuckled unkindly.

"You!" Belinda's face flushed red with anger.

But Lucius had no patience for their bickering. "Belinda, since you're his colleague, you should have seen his wand. Is this the one he uses?"

"Yes, Mr. Malfoy. This is it."

"Oh, Belinda, you idiot, you know perfectly well that my wand is thicker and longer than this," Murphy continued.

Belinda flew into a rage again.

But Lucius decided to ignore them. He looked at Freys Shafik and said, "Fres, you and Murphy Darkholm are classmates, right?"

"Yes, Uncle Malfoy."

Gan!

You idiot, don't call me uncle now!

"As his classmate, you should recognize his wand, isn't it this one?"

"Yes! That's right, it's this wand! I snatched it from you with my own hands."

"So what did you steal it for?" Murphy asked. "To fuck your own ass, you ugly Freys?"

"Murphy!" Freys was furious. "Don't think I'm afraid of you!"

"Ha, ugly bastard."

Freys was about to explode, but it took the judge a lot of effort to restrain him and drag him away. Belinda was also taken away.

"Murphy, they all recognized your wand, how are you going to deny it now!"

"I don't need to make excuses. Both of these idiots hate me, one of them is your nephew, so they can slander me however they want. But I'll say it again, that's not my magic wand."

Lucius: "How can you prove that the wand isn't yours?"

Murphy: "How can you prove I'm not your father?"

Despite his outbursts, Murphy decided to reason things out. He looked at the judge's bench and said, "Gentlemen, there's a very simple way to prove whether that wand is mine. Bring Mr. Ollivander here."

The ability to teleport is convenient; in no time, Garrick Ollivander was brought there by two Aurors.

"Olivendine, is this the wand you made?" Lucius asked, pointing to the wand on the platform.

Ollivander picked up the wand. "Oh, cypress, twelve and a half inches," he said, waving it in his hand. "Unicorn hair core... This is the wand I made, yes, but strange, very strange..."

"Does this wand belong to Murphy Darkholm?" Lucius quickly asked again.

"Huh?" Ollivander looked at Murphy and immediately shook his head. "No, no, Mr. Murphy's wand is not this one. I remember it was a fourteen-inch aspen wand with a phoenix feather core. It was a very unique wand. I rarely make such a bold combination."

In response to Ollivander's words, Murphy pulled his new wand from his sleeve and handed it over, saying, "Is this the one?"

"Yes, yes! That's right! This is it! This is Mr. Murphy's wand."

"What?" Lucius was confused. "Then what about this wand...?"

"I don't remember," Ollivander shook his head, seemingly puzzled. "This should be the wand I made, and I should have sold it, but I don't quite remember who I sold it to."

"That wouldn't be Murphy..."

"No, Mr. Murphy has only ever bought one wand!"

"Thank you, Mr. Ollivander," Dumbledore began. "Now that the facts are clear, Mr. Malfoy, since you cannot prove that the wand belongs to Murphy, do you have any other evidence to support your accusation?"

Lucius was clearly unwilling, but the evidence of the wand had been rendered useless, and there was really no way to make any more of a fuss about it.

He thought for a moment, "I do! I have a second piece of evidence that proves Murphy violated the Wizarding Secrecy Law!"

"You no longer accuse Mr. Murphy of attacking your home, do you?" Dumbledore asked.

"It's him! I know it's him!" Lucius shouted reluctantly, but finally said, "Yes, I drop this charge."

"Please show me your evidence."

"Bring up the fairy Locke!" Lucius said.
