Chapter 271 Harry Potter Must Die

Then Snape waved his wand again, levitating the unconscious Harry and carrying them both out of the fire door. They went through several rooms and were then placed on a broom by Snape, flying out through the trapdoor.

A tambourine was swaying beside Luwei, keeping the big dog still asleep.

They were led out into the corridor, where Tom saw Hermione and Ron, who were also tied up.

"When I came out, I ran into him..." Hermione's face was covered in tears, clearly terrified.

"Come on, you lot," Snape said, lifting the still-sleeping Ron into the air. He grabbed Tom and Hermione with his other hand. "I told you, if you keep wandering around in the middle of the night like this, I'm firing you all! I mean it!"

"What a magnificent sight, Professor Snape..."

Just then, a strange, eerie voice came from a shadow in the corridor.

"Who?" Snape shoved Tom and Hermione aside and turned around abruptly, but it was too late.

"He's knocked unconscious!" A red beam of light struck Snape, knocking him unconscious.

The man emerged from the shadows. "Tom, you got the Philosopher's Stone and brought Harry with you. You did a good job."

Hermione's eyes widened as she stared at the person in front of her. "Professor Quirrell! Your stutter..."

"Oh, oh, oh, I'm sorry, Miss Granger, that was a lie, a lie, a lie..." Quirrell said with no small amount of pride. "After all, with that big fool Snape in front of us, who would notice poor Professor Quirrell?"

"Why...?" Hermione was shocked.

But Tom wasn't particularly surprised. He had recognized the voice in the Forbidden Forest that day. There were only a few professors in the school, and after a little elimination, he knew who it was.

Quirrell wanted to say something more, but suddenly, a hoarse voice came from behind him, "Don't waste time! Get the Philosopher's Stone! Take the boy away!"

"Yes, yes, Master." Quirrell's smugness instantly turned to fear. He rushed to Tom, lifted his arm, and snatched the Philosopher's Stone from his tightly clenched hand. "Master, the Philosopher's Stone! I got the Philosopher's Stone!"

"Take Harry Potter away!"

"Yes, Master."

Quirrell said, trying to pull Harry up, but the moment his hand touched Harry, he cried out as if burned, and blisters instantly appeared on his skin. "Master, I... I can't touch him!"

"Use magic? You idiot!"

Quirrell used a levitation charm to levitate Harry, but Tom suddenly lunged at him and grabbed Harry tightly.

"Let go!" Quirrell pointed his wand at Tom.

The latter, however, remained unmoved.

"Take him with you!" the hoarse voice commanded.

Hermione rushed forward to try and shield the two boys, but Quirrell knocked her unconscious with a Stunning Charm. "Master, should we...?"

However, Tom made a whimpering sound and glared at him fiercely.

"Forget it, let's hurry up! Don't waste time!"

Quirrell used two brooms to lift Harry and Tom up, then cast Illusion Charms on everyone one by one, and finally controlled them with magic. He then mounted his broom and flew out of the window above the corridor, heading towards the Forbidden Forest.

Voldemort hadn't taught Quirrell the magic of flight yet, and Hogwarts couldn't Apparate, so this was the only way he could take people away.

Although the method was clumsy, it was still very effective, and Quirrell soon led everyone to a clearing in the Forbidden Forest.

A perimeter of magical traps has been set up here, and nothing dares to venture in.

Having left Hogwarts, and with Apparition no longer restricted, Quirrell produced a Portkey and controlled Tom and Harry's fingers to grab it. He himself also grabbed the Portkey, and suddenly, they vanished from the spot.

In a cemetery, Quirrell and two boys appeared.

In the center of the cemetery was a large cauldron, and there was also a potion-making table, on which a crucible seemed to be simmering a magic potion.

Quirrell put Harry and Tom down, and an excited voice in the back of his head shouted, "Quick, quick, make me a potion!"

Quirrell placed the Philosopher's Stone on the alchemy table, then added various medicinal herbs into the crucible and began the process of making the elixir of immortality.

At the same time, he also began adding some ingredients to the large pot.

"Go and get that boy's blood!" Voldemort commanded. "I need his blood to make a potion of resurrection."

Quirrell pulled out a knife and approached Harry.

Tom suddenly stopped him, pointing to his mouth. He was still under Snape's spell and unable to speak.

"Undo his spell," Voldemort commanded.

Quirrell did as he was told, "Stop the curse immediately."

"Ahem," Tom coughed, "Where am I?!"

"Ah, Tom..." Voldemort seemed amused and actually answered him, "This is where you were born. See that old house in the distance? That's Riddle's old house; your father, Old Tom, lived there."

"And your mother lives nearby."

"I don't remember any of this," Tom said, backing away as he spoke.

We must escape; we have to escape.

He also has a spare wand that Mr. Murphy gave him, and now that the spell sealing his mouth has been broken, perhaps he can attack Quirrell.

Unfortunately, he couldn't get the Portkey from Quirrell, and he didn't know how to get back to Hogwarts from here. But he didn't want to just sit there and wait to die; at the very least, he couldn't let Harry die here.

"Ah, yes, you haven't regained your memories yet," Voldemort said. "However, you've done well, I can reward you. Give me the diary."

Tom carried his diary with him; after all, before entering the trapdoor, he had indeed considered handing Harry over, but now his thoughts had changed.

However, this is an opportunity.

"Are you really going to bring me back to life too?" Tom asked.

"Of course, you are me, and you will be my best partner," Voldemort said. "We can use this boy's blood to resurrect him, so whatever power he has, we can obtain it, and we will be stronger than before."

Tom's expression shifted; he hesitated. "Then, could you... not kill him?"

Voldemort was silent for a long while before saying, "He is our enemy. Harry Potter must die!"

"You don't actually consider him a friend, do you?"

Tom looked at Quirrell in front of him, and suddenly his shoulders relaxed. "Of course not, I just find it a bit troublesome. I'll give you the diary, and you can let me regain my memory first."

As he spoke, Tom reached into his pocket and slowly pulled out the notebook.

At the same time, he slowly pulled out the snakewood wand from behind his notebook, then suddenly flung the notebook at Quirrell, raising the snakewood wand, "Expelliarmus!"

However, Quirrell reacted much faster than he expected, blocking Tom's attack with a golden shield.

Then the other party waved his wand again, disarming him and casting a petrification spell, freezing him in place.

"Hmph!" Voldemort snorted. "Weakling! You've been acting for so long that you've even started to believe it yourself? I must admit that my younger self devised a clever scheme, using only a fragment of my soul to create you, but unfortunately, you don't seem to want to be controlled."

He picked up the notebook. "But it doesn't matter, I'll correct it back. Haven't you always wanted those lost memories?"

"Now, I'll give them all to you."

He recited a few incantations, dispelling the spell he had cast on the notebook.

"Take one last look at this world, Lucas. When you wake up, you will be Tom Riddle."

After saying that, Quirrell placed Tom's hand on the notebook and then tapped it with his wand.

Suddenly, Tom was overwhelmed by a tsunami of memories.
