Hogwarts: From Selling White Peppers to Becoming a God

Chapter 246 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

Chapter 246 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

It wasn't until Easter that the mandrake was finally ready to use, and Snape's antidote was prepared. He then visited Harry at the school hospital for the second time.

He arrived at noon, just after Harry had finished lunch and was taking a nap.

Snape stood by the bed for a long time, the afternoon sun shining on that face that was almost exactly the same as in his memory. For a moment, he felt as if he had returned to the time when he first entered school.

"Lily," he heard himself say, "I'm sorry."

"Professor?" Harry woke up and was startled to see Snape. "When did you get here?"

Snape was jolted back to his senses by Lily's questioning look. Lily would never act so foolishly, but for some reason, his tone remained much gentler. "Your antidote is ready."

As he spoke, he took out a small bottle of medicine from his sleeve, raised his head, and slowly handed it over with the same aloof attitude he always maintained.

"Th-thank you, Professor..." Harry carefully accepted it.

"Look at me," Snape said suddenly.

Harry was startled and stared blankly at Snape.

The latter stared at him intently, and the complex expression on his face terrified Harry.

Could it be that he discovered I stole the Philosopher's Stone? Is there poison in this antidote?

He even chanted a spell to try and kill me before, so is this antidote safe to drink?

So many people know that he helped me make the antidote, he couldn't possibly poison it directly, could he?

But what if he does that? He could just make a quick excuse, saying he didn't expect the antidote to work, and that would be the end of it, since sex-changing drugs have never existed before.

Harry was in a terrible dilemma, but he dared not drink the antidote now no matter what.

Fortunately, Snape didn't force him to drink it now. After a long while, he closed his eyes and said in a weak voice, as if he were the one who was sick, "Drink it after I leave."

After saying that, he left.

As Snape staggered out of the school hospital, he felt as if he were watching Lily leave once again.

An overwhelming sense of longing welled up from the bottom of his heart, followed by endless guilt and excruciating pain that felt like it was tearing him in two.

He knew that Harry had only become like that because he had accidentally taken a potion.

Of course he knew he wasn't Lily.

But that appearance, those eyes...

Just like the woman who has haunted my dreams for countless years.

The moment he handed the antidote to her, he felt as if he had lost her once again, and the pain almost suffocated him.

"Professor...Professor Snape..."

Suddenly, he heard someone calling his name. He turned around and saw Murphy Darkholm.

"A few of us professors are planning to go to Three Brooms for a drink later, wanna join us?" Murphy asked.

Today is Easter, and the school is on holiday, so the professors got together to go to a bar for a drink and relax.

"Stay away from me," Snape said, barely managing to utter a roar.

If there's one person he absolutely doesn't want to see right now, Murphy would undoubtedly be number one.

"Oh, did something sad come to mind?" Murphy wasn't intimidated by him and continued in that annoying, knowing tone.

"I said, get out of here!"

"Speaking of which, Lily Evans..."

"Shut up!" Snape suddenly turned around, even drawing his wand. "Don't mention that name!"

Murphy looked at him, a cold smile playing on his lips. "Want a duel, you slug?"

"Are you asking for it?!" Snape was absolutely furious when he heard about the slug.

"Trying to kill someone?" Murphy laughed. "I'll give you a chance. Come to the Forbidden Forest, a wizard duel, life or death, how about it?"

As he said this, Murphy had already decided to kill him.

Previously, through Tom, Murphy already knew that Snape might have the formula for immortality, but this guy was a master of Occlumency. Under normal circumstances, Murphy's method of dealing with ordinary wizards—stealing information from their minds by Legilimency and then erasing the traces with a Forgetfulness Charm—would not work on him at all.

Moreover, he's usually at school, so if he tries to make a move, he might directly attract Dumbledore's attention.

Therefore, Murphy planned to take advantage of the moment when he was upset with Harry to lure him outside, knock him unconscious, and take him to a safe place. Then, whether it was torture, truth serum, or the Heart Seed, he could get what he wanted.

Moreover, it was during the holidays, and the professors were all out, so Snape's disappearance for a short period of time would not attract anyone's attention.

Come on, Snape, let's duel.

You must hate me, right?

They reopened your wounds before, then publicly humiliated you, and with all this repeated provocation, how can you possibly tolerate it?

Snape's eyes were practically spitting fire, and his entire face was contorted with rage.

But just when Murphy thought he was about to accept the duel in a fit of anger, Snape suddenly put down his wand and said, "Get away from me."

Walter?

Murphy was shocked.

How can you tolerate this?

What's wrong with this guy?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?!

Is he becoming withdrawn?

"Damn it," Murphy was genuinely annoyed by this gloomy guy, "Is this what you call living?"

Snape did not answer.

Okay, so you're ignoring me?

You're heartbroken, aren't you?

Are you a walking corpse?

Heh, guess what? I'm not afraid of pessimists like you the most.

"Immediately imprison them!"

Suddenly, a rope appeared out of thin air and bound Snape tightly.

Then Murphy waved his wand, and Snape was lifted into the air, as if Murphy were holding a balloon. In an instant, he transformed into black mist, pulling the bound Snape out of the school. After flying in the air for a short while, they landed in Hogsmeade Village.

"What are you doing?! Put me down!" Snape was going crazy. He was being dragged around like a balloon. He had never suffered such humiliation in his life.

Oh, except for that time when James Potter hung him from a tree and exposed his underwear.

Murphy ignored him and led Snape all the way to the Three Brooms.

Passersby stared in disbelief. Snape's face flushed crimson. "I'm going to kill you! Murphy Darkholme! I'm going to kill you!"

"Trying to kill me now?" Murphy sneered. "Ha, too late!"

Murphy kicked the tavern door open. "Rosmerta... cough, ma'am."

Murphy glanced at the tavern owner's expression, and his arrogance inexplicably subsided somewhat. "Do you have any hard liquor?"

The latter took several bottles of liquor that looked quite strong from under the counter, smiled, and said, "Is this some kind of prank? I've never seen a balloon that looks like Snape before."

"I'm not a balloon!" Snape was so angry he wanted to kill everyone in the tavern right then and there.

"Could you please bring me two cups, please?" Murphy said.

"Aren't you with the other professors? They're waiting for you at the table inside."

"No," Murphy said, pulling Snape along. "One of us has to lie down today, this guy or I."
