Chapter 208 Trolls

The students immediately became agitated, but Dumbledore quickly stood up and calmed the situation, instructing the prefects to take their respective young wizards back to their dormitories.

Harry and the others followed the crowd out of the hall, but Hermione suddenly stopped them.

"Tom!"

"He doesn't know about the trolls yet!"

Harry and Ron exchanged a glance. "We need to go and tell him."

"If only I had made the fairy coins sooner!" Ron sighed.

"I'll go with you!" Hermione said.

"you?"

"We're in a group," Hermione said. "And do you know where the girls' restrooms are?"

A moment later, Murphy, who was about to follow the professors to the underground classroom, saw three figures sneaking away and was unsure how to react.

Tom, emerging from Myrtle's bathroom, was getting ready for a Halloween dinner.

He was still pondering what Myrtle had said: a pair of frighteningly large yellow eyes? What were those?

The monster was extremely tall, its head almost touching the ceiling, its limbs were thick, its legs were like tree stumps, its arms were so long they almost reached its knees, and it was carrying a huge wooden club in its hands.

Compared to its body, its pointed head looks much smaller and more delicate, and with its protruding ears, it looks rather unintelligent.

A troll?!

He had seen these monsters in books. They were of low intelligence but extremely dangerous because they were incredibly strong, their skin had good resistance to magic, and they were carnivorous, with humans among their food.

Instinctively, Tom hid behind an old wizard statue.

The troll didn't notice him and wandered off to another classroom. Tom quickly took the opportunity to slip down the stairs, intending to tell the professors about the troll.

A moment later, he found himself back in the women's restroom, a complete mess. The sinks and toilet stalls were smashed, water was spraying everywhere, and three little wizards were being blocked by a giant monster, trying to fight it.

As he arrived, he saw the troll raise its club. Without thinking, Tom drew his wand and shouted, "Expelliarmus!"

A flash of red magic light struck the troll, but the troll only paused for a moment. The wooden stick in its hand seemed to be pulled by a force, but the troll's claws held it tightly, and the stick was not flung away as Tom had expected.

Magic resistance?

"Immediately imprison them!"

A rope appeared out of thin air, looped around the giant's neck, and wrapped around its raised arms and upper body.

The giant struggled and twisted his body. He finally noticed the attacker behind him. He angrily pulled on the ropes binding him, and suddenly snapped them with a crack.

"roar!"

The troll was furious and swung his stick at Tom.

Tom quickly ducked down, and the big stick slammed into the wall beside him, causing a shower of dust to fall from the ceiling. The wall that was hit seemed to crack, and several bricks were dented.

"Tom!" Harry yelled, suddenly climbing onto a relatively intact sink, leaping up and grabbing the troll's neck from behind.

He didn't really know what he was doing, but he couldn't just stand by and watch the giant attack his classmate.

The troll didn't notice Harry's movements at first, but Harry quickly grabbed his ear and pulled him to the side, which annoyed the troll, who waved his hand and tried to pull Harry down.

Tom was shocked. How could this guy be so brave!

If a giant catches this, it'll definitely be smashed into a pulp.

There was no time to lose. He tossed aside his wand, drew his snakewood wand from his waist, and, taking advantage of Harry's distraction, aimed it at the troll. "Expelliarmus!"

A huge red spark shot out from the wand and struck the troll. The powerful magic even knocked him back half a step, causing him to stumble and fall backward. The wooden stick in his hand was also pulled away by a huge force and flung out, crashing into a classroom door with a loud bang. The force was so great that it even shattered the door.

Tom stared in shock at the magic wand in his hand.

Harry nimbly jumped off the troll, avoiding its slamming back. "Tom, quick, knock him out!"

Tom didn't hesitate; he stepped forward and pointed his wand at the troll's head, "Expelliarmus!"

"Bang!" Another beam of light struck the giant's head, slamming it hard into the ground with a terrifying thud. The giant's eyes rolled back, its tongue lolled out, and it collapsed in a comical manner.

"Wow! Tom, you beat the troll!" Hermione exclaimed excitedly.

Compared to the original story, where she was not afraid because she had two followers from the beginning, but was very nervous, now that the threat was gone, her nervousness turned into excitement.

She found the whole thing quite interesting.

"How did you get here?" Tom asked.

"Of course, it was to save you!" Ron said. "Professor Quirrell said there were trolls outside, and we were afraid you'd be in danger, so we came to warn you... but you ended up saving us instead."

Tom found it somewhat amusing, but a warm, tingling sensation rose within him, and he felt as if he could barely control the corners of his mouth from turning up.

"Oh, right, I just saw..."

Before he could finish speaking, he suddenly saw the three little ones gasp in surprise.

Ron looked behind him.

"Soup..." Hermione seemed to want to say something.

Harry reacted the fastest, reaching out to pull him.

In that instant, Tom suddenly noticed something hurtling towards his left side.

"Bang!" Suddenly, a loud noise rang out, and a wooden stick as thick as a man's embrace slammed into Tom's body with terrifying force, sending him flying like a baseball.

"Tom!"
