Chapter 47 Norman Osborne

"Open the door. I have an appointment with Norman Osborn. Take me to see him."

As he spoke, Erin secretly used a hypnotic technique from the Mind Seal, transforming his voice into a seductive and alluring sound through a special vibration frequency.

After hearing his story, people will naturally feel drawn to him and want to trust him.

Combined with the mental shock of the disheartened stare just now, the two security guards in front of Erin instantly lost their composure.

Subconsciously, they took Erin's words as truth.

After a moment of confusion, one of the security guards took out his access card, opened the gate to the manor, and led Erin into Osborne Manor.

"Yes, sir. Mr. Osborne is resting in his bedroom. I'll show you the way."

Erin nodded and followed the security guard into the manor.

After opening the iron gate, there is a fountain with an angel statue at the main entrance of the manor, which is very eye-catching.

Osborne's estate is quite large, but everything inside is well-maintained and orderly.

There weren't many people in the manor.

Led by the security guard at the gate, Erin walked along the road and saw no one else except for a gardener tending to the garden.

Upon entering the manor, we came to the large house that resembled a castle.

A middle-aged butler, dressed in a suit and white gloves, with a slightly balding head, walked quickly toward us with a frown.

"Jarvan, I remember saying that the manor is not accepting guests today. If you can't give me a reasonable explanation, I'm afraid you'll have to find a new job tomorrow."

Faced with the butler's questioning, the security guard who brought Erin immediately explained, "Butler Brian, this distinguished gentleman has an appointment with Mr. Osborne, which is why I brought him in."

Upon hearing this, Butler Brian frowned and said, "I made an appointment with the master, how come I didn't know?"

Just as Brian turned his head to take a closer look at Erin, his gaze was suddenly swallowed up by a pair of cold eyes.

"Now you know."

After once again using the "Desperate Gaze" to instantly break down the butler Brian's mental defenses, Erin used the same hypnotic techniques from the Great Handprint of the Mind to begin hypnotizing the butler in front of him.

Brian, the butler, was far more resilient than the two security guards.

To achieve a better hypnotic effect, in addition to the special frequency sound containing spiritual energy, Erin also stretched out his hands and formed a mysterious hand seal in front of the butler.

The rapidly changing handprints left behind a trail of afterimages, like a dazzling display of light, making even a single glance dizzying to the eye.

Under these multiple shocks, Brian's usually resilient mind quickly became confused.

A few minutes later.

Erin was led to a wooden door.

Standing in front of the door, the butler Brian stopped and said to Erin, "It will be dark inside, sir. Your eyes may need some time to adjust."

Erin nodded.

The butler, Brian, opened the door to the bedroom.

Just as Brian said, the bedroom was unusually dark, with only a faint ray of sunlight shining through the layers of curtains.

In the center of this huge and spacious bedroom stood a luxurious wooden bed with curtains drawn, and next to the bed were a bunch of high-tech instruments.

"Cough cough cough..."

The sound of the door opening seemed to agitate the figure on the wooden bed, causing him to cough weakly.

Upon seeing this, Butler Brian immediately stepped forward, drew back the semi-transparent curtains, helped the figure on the bed to sit up, and then respectfully asked:

"Sir, would you like me to call the doctor?"

"Cough cough cough..."

After another bout of coughing, the man on the bed seemed to have calmed down a bit, and he waved his hand, saying, "No need."

After saying that, he looked up at Erin standing in the bedroom doorway and said with a self-deprecating smile, "Wow, who is this now? To have Brian bring you here without informing me, you must be another important person. Heh, I'm not even dead yet, and you're already so impatient? Tell me, what do you want? And who do you represent?"

Erin didn't answer immediately, but glanced at Brian instead.

Norman Osborn, who was on the bed, waved his hand when he saw this.

Immediately, the butler wisely got up and left.

With the bedroom door closing, the only two sources of light in the room were also taken away, making the already dim room even dimmer.

However, Norman Osborn seemed to prefer dark environments.

As the light source disappeared, the expression on his face visibly relaxed considerably.

"You seem to be somewhat sensitive to light, Mr. Osborn."

"That's right." Norman Osborn raised his trembling, diseased right hand and said with a self-deprecating laugh, "Now I'm like a vampire from legends, afraid of sunlight."

"Heh, isn't it ridiculous? I gave millions of people the opportunity to live in the sunlight again, but I myself have become, become like this..."

Norman Osborn waved his hand, as if trying to express something, but ultimately let his arm fall limply to his sides.

Upon hearing this, Erin said, "The Osborn family's hereditary disease? I've heard of it. It's a very rare hereditary disease, and to this day, there's still no clear cure in the medical field."

"In fact, that's exactly why I came here."

Ok?

Norman Osborn, lying in his hospital bed, glanced at Erin with some confusion.

There seemed to be some doubt.

"Let me clarify first, I am not one of those who want to take advantage of the situation and divide up the Osborn Group's power, as you might imagine."

"I can't tell you who I represent. I'm here just to make a deal with you, a deal that can help you change your destiny and save your life."

As he spoke, Erin took out a vial of the [Universal Antidote] from his backpack and placed it on a machine next to the hospital bed.

"The Panacea is a precious magical potion created by a master apothecary from an extraordinary world. It can cure the vast majority of diseases in the world, including the hereditary disease of your Osborn family."

"A panacea?"

"A magic potion?"

Norman Osborn glanced at the vial of the "universal antidote" on the table with a mocking look, and said with utter disdain, "Heh, how laughable?"

"Has no one told you that there is absolutely no such thing as a true panacea in this world?"

"If you're trying to say this thing can cure the genetic disease in our Osborn family, you'd be better off using a more plausible approach."
