I, Hogwarts Second Time Around.
Chapter 582 Savior or Demon?
Chapter 582 Savior or Demon?
"Oh ho ho—I just got back and I've already met a freshly baked cabbage."
Irving walked out from around the corner of the corridor.
On the other side, several Ravenclaw students were fighting a pale-faced, somewhat hunchbacked dark wizard.
"We must take back our castle!"
"That's right, this is ours."
"Your end is near, executioner."
"Ah! I will kill you all, Avada Kedavra—"
A dazzling green light appeared.
Targeting a single student.
The other junior wizards then cast stun spells with their staffs.
"Bang—" The student dodged the deadly curse.
They seemed to have received training in this area, as their footwork was very fast.
Others could provide cover; for example, one of the young wizards used Polymorph to create a wall in an attempt to block the attack, but his casting speed was a bit slow, and he didn't have time to do so.
The young wizards appeared to be skilled fighters with a high chance of winning, but in reality, their magic was completely ineffective against the dark wizards.
These monsters, who can no longer be considered human, cannot be dealt with by a mere Stunning Curse.
"Wow! This cabbage is pretty tough."
After saying that, Owen raised his hand without even taking out his wand.
Immediately afterwards, the black wizard suddenly seemed to be captured, his limbs pressed against his body, standing on tiptoe, his head facing the ceiling.
"Waaah—" he let out a piercing whimper, his whole body trembling uncontrollably.
A certain fluid, possibly brain matter, was constantly flowing from the eyes, mouth, and ears.
"Shh—be quiet." Owen said gently, squeezing through the crowd and walking up to the dark wizard amidst the little wizard's shocked gaze: "Dizziness is a normal reaction, don't worry, it will be over quite quickly."
Suddenly, he raised his hand sharply.
The black wizard's skin was suddenly ripped open, and then his brains, spine, and internal organs gushed out like a fountain.
It flowed all over the ground with a splash.
The large intestine was even sprayed onto the ceiling.
Fishing here felt like being in hell.
"Well, I knew it. He's really weak, his physical strength is so low."
In front of Irving was a complete human skeleton.
It was completely clean and empty.
It remained in the posture the black wizard had before his death, but just two seconds later, it collapsed and shattered into glass.
"What wonderful fertilizer!" he exclaimed.
Then he shook his head and left amidst the trembling gaze and pale face of the young wizard beside him.
Until he had walked quite a distance.
The young wizards finally came to their senses.
"Huff—"
The young wizards finally couldn't hold back any longer and vomited everything up, as if they had been punched in the stomach.
"Is that... Kyrie Irving?"
"It seems so—"
"How could he—" The boy didn't finish his sentence, but everyone else understood.
Irving just now looked more demonic than a demon.
They even felt that the Death Eater looked more like a victim.
Meanwhile, Irving made his way from the third floor to the auditorium.
He encountered several large cabbages along the way.
Most of them were Death Eaters, and some were members of other dark wizarding organizations captured by the Death Eaters and used as their subordinates.
Irving treated everyone equally.
He integrated everyone into a ball of flesh, placing them shoulder to shoulder, head to head, intestine to intestine, blending them together seamlessly, indistinguishable from one another.
And so we made our way to the auditorium.
Before he even entered the house, he had only reached the entrance. He could hear the sounds of fierce fighting and shouting coming from outside.
Outside the gate, the Order of the Phoenix was engaged in a fierce battle with the dark wizard. A large number of spells flew around, filling the entire platform. Both sides had a considerable number of members.
He saw Kingsley, Lupin, Oliver Wood, Katie Bell, Angelina Jensen, as well as Luna, Dean, Colin and other students.
On the other side, there were more than a dozen wizards fighting them.
Although the Order of the Phoenix had the advantage in numbers, the dark wizards' offensive was fierce, and their bodies were immune to many low-level spells, in addition to their unbridled use of the Killing Curse.
It appears that the Order of the Phoenix is at a disadvantage on the scene.
"What's going on? Is everyone playing house?"
Mocking voices came from the doorway.
Although the sound was not loud, it was a very eerie sound that reached the ears of everyone present.
Everyone instinctively stopped.
He looked blankly toward the entrance.
After seeing a person with silver hair like a waterfall, a delicate face, and a fleshy ball with a diameter of more than ten feet floating behind them.
Whether it was the Death Eaters or the Order of the Phoenix, everyone's heart seemed to skip a beat.
An invisible fear permeated their entire being.
A sense of absurdity washed over them, especially when the boy, whose gender was indistinguishable, was looking at them with a gentle smile.
"You—" a Death Eater suddenly spoke up.
But he had only uttered the first word.
My body was restrained by a large hand.
Irving raised his smooth, jade-like hand and gently waved it in the air, like a child playing in a stream.
Then, the Death Eater's blood and internal organs separated from his body and, with Owen's gesture, were transferred to the next Death Eater.
Like fireworks, one after another they exploded brightly.
Ultimately, all the flesh and blood converged into the ball of flesh behind Irving.
In the blink of an eye, the diameter of that fleshy ball increased again.
"Top-quality fertilizer."
The demon opened its mouth, and an ethereal voice rang out.
Like snow in the dead of winter, a deeper chill spread through everyone's hearts.
"Irving?" Lupin called out to him in disbelief.
"Hmm? What's wrong, Professor?"
"You..." Lupin opened his mouth, unsure of what to say. Everything that had just happened had shocked him too much.
"What are you doing?" Kingsley spoke for him. He frowned, his gaze sweeping over the helpless bones on the ground.
How evil! How cruel!
That's where Voldemort's story ends!
"Seriously speaking, I'm recycling. In a less serious way, I'm making fertilizer."
"Recycle? What are you recycling?" Kingsley demanded. "This flesh and blood?"
"Of course!" Owen nodded matter-of-factly. "They all bear the aura of Ionia, the goddess of corruption. Reclaiming them is to destroy the foundation of the outgods."
"Does saying this make you feel any better?"
"Don't be so fragile, you're not a little boy anymore." He said casually, "Okay, my job is tough. I don't have time to mend your wounded little heart."
Having said that, he waved his sleeves, turned around, and walked away.
Push open the auditorium doors.
A fierce battle was taking place inside as well.
Professor McGonagall's wand slashed through the air, and Snape retreated to defend himself. The collision of spells caused their bodies to tremble. Just then, Professor McGonagall swung her wand at a torch on the wall, and the torch immediately flew off its stand, turning into a ring of fire.
Flames filled the entire corridor and flew toward Snape like a noose.
Snape swung his wand wildly, and the Ring of Fire ceased to be fire, instead transforming into a gigantic black serpent, which McGonagall blasted into black smoke. Within seconds, the smoke deformed and solidified, becoming a dense array of daggers that pursued him.
The armored figures along the wall flew swiftly to block Snape's path. Daggers clanged against the breastplates of the armor.
The armor began to change again, transforming into chains to try and bind Snape. Some people in the crowd also began to cast spells on Snape, but Snape's body suddenly turned into black mist. He rose sharply upwards, dodging all attacks, and rushed straight towards the French windows at the front of the Great Hall, breaking the glass and escaping the castle.
Outside the window, Snape's body, shrouded in black mist, resembled a giant bat as he crossed the cliffs outside the castle and disappeared into the darkness of the Forbidden Forest.
"Coward! Coward!" Professor McGonagall shouted angrily.
Travers and the remaining dark wizards were also shouting Snape's name.
But after calling out once, he—and they could no longer speak.
Because the tongue left the mouth.
Next came the throat; blood, like a rushing river, slowly floated in the air and converged in front of the auditorium.
Everyone in the auditorium turned their heads.
When they saw Irving, especially the fleshy blob floating behind him.
His expression was one of utter shock.
"My God, Owen, is that you?" Harry exclaimed from the crowd, his eyes wide. "What's that behind you? How did you do that? What kind of magic is that?"
"Oh—that's not magic." Owen opened his arms, and suddenly the shadow beneath his feet seemed to come alive.
It gradually expanded, eventually transforming into an invertebrate protozoan. Its wriggling, abstract body opened its mouth-like organs and swallowed the fleshy ball whole.
Then chew and swallow in large bites.
Then he turned back into his shadow.
"I simply gained complete control over ancient magic, and their bodies are filled with ancient magic," Owen explained amicably. "I plucked a string, and the notes naturally followed me."
"you"
"You look like you're being controlled by some kind of monster." Ron stepped out from behind Harry. "I think we need to verify your identity."
"Hmm—" Harry nodded. "A complete change in temperament," he said.
"Could this be the real me? The one you saw before was a person in disguise?" Owen looked at Harry and Ron with a half-smile.
The two men's expressions changed.
The young wizards in the hall instinctively distanced themselves from him.
"Hey—just kidding!" he said.
"Okay, okay, actually, my head is filled with too many other people's memories, so it's a bit confusing right now."
"The Tower of Divine Gifts?" Koyatl was right next to Ron.
"Yes," Owen said, "They're all the same heirs and resisters from before."
He said.
Harry and the others breathed a sigh of relief.
My nerves relaxed a little.
But then Irving's next sentence made their hearts jump to their throats again.
"But I feel great now. It's like I used to walk in shackles, but now I don't even need shoes. It's incredibly relaxing. I used to feel this way. I think I remember some of my experiences at the Sphinx Orphanage. Hmm—I remember that old perverted headmaster was killed by the stray dogs I controlled. Tsk—strange, how could I forget these things?"
Irving rubbed his chin.
"I think I also set a fire, burning those old white men—well, the orphanage staff?—to death?"
"That's really interesting, I think I remember now."
He remembered.
The Sphinx Orphanage was a slave institution established by a group of sexually deviant clergy to provide services specifically to high-ranking bishops.
He appeared to have entered the orphanage as an infant. He controlled most of the people there with an Imperius Curse and took pleasure in tormenting the staff.
Later, Grindelwald found him and took him away.
Before leaving, he used a soul-stealing spell to control the gatekeeper.
The gatekeeper set fire to the orphanage in the middle of the night, burning it down.
"Damn it, how could I forget about something so fun?" Owen exclaimed regretfully, as if his beloved toy had been taken away and, when he found it again today, it was no longer the same as it used to be.
"Kyrie Irving!!!"
Suddenly, a loud shout came from the crowd.
Instinctively, Irving reached out his hand.
The powerful magic, like a hurricane, swept through half the hall.
"Sorry, I was daydreaming."
He gave a perfunctory and insincere reply.
As the figure moved, Hermione stepped forward.
She looked at Irving.
Then he walked straight over.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him on the lips.
His taste is like ice, like fiery whiskey, and more like some kind of sin.
The girl quickly lost the initiative.
She could only respond passively.
He gripped her hair, controlling the rhythm, and kissed her slowly.
His lips brushed against hers lightly, sending a shiver down her spine.
Soon, Owen felt something cool on his cheek; the little witch was crying.
A sense of responsibility welled up within me, and I wanted to convey it to him.
"."
"What's going on?"
Harry stood there, stunned.
He was almost about to pull out his wand.
Ron was also completely confused.
I have absolutely no idea what's going on at the scene.
However, this kiss confirmed for Harry and the others that the cruel and strange-looking person was indeed Owen.
"Feed—is this appropriate? There are so many people watching!" Harry exclaimed.
He saw the two of them hugging even tighter.
"This is ridiculous, I think I'm starting to get a brain." Justin got up from the Hufflepuff crowd, having just been knocked down by the hurricane Owen had created.
"Hermione, if you're being controlled, just wave your hand! Move your little finger?" Koyatl was still worried. She knew the Outer Gods' methods; controlling a person or two was a simple matter.
She now suspects that Owen is being controlled by an Outer God.
Hermione may also have been affected.
A moment later, the two people in front of the auditorium finally parted their lips.
Hermione buried her head tightly in his shoulder.
Although she couldn't understand why, the fact was that every time Irving left her and came back after a while, his personality would change drastically.
It's always like this.
Perhaps it's due to the influence of the Divine Tower.
But now that I think about it, he already had this tendency before they even came into contact with the Divine Tower.
The divinely inspired tower only reinforced this trend.
He followed him back to his side, and as time passed, he returned to normal.
This is a phenomenon she observed and summarized.
There must be a deeper reason behind this, but she herself hasn't figured it out yet.
