Chapter 546 Wedding

The only downside was that the Burrow's structure couldn't accommodate so many people, especially after the best man Charlie returned.

The Weasleys loudly overwhelmed the Delacours' objections, insisting that their guests sleep in their bedroom while they themselves slept in the living room.

At dawn, the air was crisp and the morning light was faint; everyone was already awake early in the morning.

Irving opened his eyes; it was still dark outside the window, and the sun had not yet risen.

The sky is a deep blue.

Sirocco was fast asleep, nestled between his legs.

Hermione brought it from Hogsmeade yesterday.

She could have just had Hagrid deliver it today, but she went in person anyway.

The little witch had a feeling something bad might happen today, so she retrieved the utility cat beforehand, hoping to prevent anything untoward from occurring.

As for that giant dragon...

Barker will be arriving with Hagrid today.

Miss Granger is not staying with him today.

She shared a room with Ginny, Fleur, and Gabrielle. Koyatl had a room to herself. She was taking the day off and wouldn't be going to work on Downing Street.

Several people were busy doing the bride's makeup in advance.

Hmm—I guess the girls are already up by now.

Sure enough—just as Irving lifted the covers and got out of bed.

There was a knock on the door.

"boom--"

After a few knocks, the door was pushed open.

Only Hermione did that.

"Oh—you're awake," she said. "Get ready."

After saying that, he turned around and hurriedly walked away.

She looked very anxious; anyone who didn't know better would think she was getting married.

After washing up, Owen and Harry went to the Burrow.

He was dragged to work before he even had breakfast.

In the open space beside the humble dwelling, specks of firefly light dispelled the darkness.

Harry, along with Mr. Arthur, were busy setting up the tent.

It's not difficult—the magic tent unfolds automatically with a wave of a wand.

Then, he waved his wand again to conjure up the drinks and food.

These were all prepared in advance by Mrs. Weasley.

Harry was mainly responsible for details such as setting the plates.

Around six o'clock, guests began to arrive one after another.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the others, having drunk large doses of Polyjuice Potion, each held a seating chart and directed the guests to their appropriate seats.

Half an hour ago, a group of waiters in white robes and a band in golden shirts arrived. Now, these wizards are sitting under a tree not far away, smoking pipes.

Harry could see a wisp of blue smoke rising from there.

A long purple carpet was laid at the entrance of the large tent, with rows of exquisite and delicate gold chairs on both sides.

White and gold flowers were wrapped around the pillars.

A vine-like trumpet flower entwined around the top of the tent, its colorful buds dancing in the air, playing a joyful tune.

That was what Owen retrieved from his house in Hogsmeade.

This magical plant can only be found at Hogwarts.

He had taken a few plants from the school and planted them in the house in Hogsmeade Village, and now they have grown into a whole patch.

Fred and George tied a long string of golden balloons to the spot where Bill and Fleur were about to hold their wedding ceremony.

Outside, bees and butterflies fluttered lazily among the grass and hedges.

The sun was already high in the sky.

The temperature is also getting higher and higher.

The people dressed in heavy formal attire felt both hot and tight.

"When I get married," Fred said, tugging at the collar of his robe, "I'm not going to do any of this nonsense. You can wear whatever you want. I'm going to put a full-body binding spell on Mom until it's all over."

After he finished speaking, everyone else present rolled their eyes at him.

Irving glanced at the guy as well, and said sarcastically, "You really are a loving mother and a filial son."

"Uh... I was just joking, I was just worried she'd be too busy—" Fred suddenly realized he'd said the wrong thing and quickly tried to explain.

"Oh—never mind—she's certainly busy," George said. "Look—they're here."

At the far end of the courtyard, one brightly colored figure after another appeared out of thin air, and within minutes they formed a procession, beginning to walk through the garden toward the large tent.

Strange flowers and enchanted birds fluttered on the witches' hats, and precious gems glittered on many wizards' bow ties.

As the group drew closer to the tent, their excited, chattering voices grew louder, drowning out the buzzing of the bees.

"Great, I think I see some Veela cousins." After establishing a connection with Fleur, the Veela naturally became related to the Weasley family. George craned his neck to get a better look. "Oh—I guarantee that when it comes to beauty, apart from Owen, no one in the world can surpass them—"

"???" Owen stared blankly at the group of Veela. How did this get to him?

"He just has a very fiery temper," Fred said.

"Tch—you guys just don't understand!" Ginny curled her lip. "Some people just like this type. The stronger the woman, the more they fall for her."

"That's not wrong," George said.

"Feeling safe—doubles your attractiveness," Fred said.

"Hey—who are you talking about? Veela?" Harry, disguised as Weasley's cousin Barney, asked blankly.

"Of course it's the Veela!" Fred blinked, glancing at Hermione, suppressing a laugh. "Or perhaps Owen?"

"Really?" Harry asked doubtfully. "I don't think so—"

"Alright, I don't have time for this." With that, Fred suddenly rushed over to the group of middle-aged witches at the front of the line and said to the two pretty French girls first, "Hey—please allow me to serve you."

French spoken with a strong British accent rang out, making the French girl giggle.

They had Fred accompany them inside.

"Damn it—" George cursed, then went to meet him.

Ron, disguised as Weasley's wife, is responsible for taking care of Mr. Weasley's old colleague Perkins at the Ministry of Magic, while Harry ends up with an elderly couple who are very hard of hearing.

"Okay." He had just stepped out of the tent when he heard a familiar voice, and then saw Tonks and Lupin standing at the front of the group.

Tonks specifically changed her hair to blonde.

Sirius Black and Roy also appeared at the wedding, entering the tent almost immediately after Lupin.

Harry rushed over and gave Sirius a big hug.

"I knew you would come," he said.

"Sorry, I've been too busy lately." Sirius patted Harry on the back and said apologetically, "I could have come a few days earlier. But—Dumbledore had a plan, so I was delayed."

"It's okay—" Harry said to himself, his eyes suddenly turning red and swollen, his voice hoarse. "I'm not a child anymore. I know what's important and what's urgent."

"Yes!" Sirius exclaimed. "You'll be seventeen tomorrow. If James and Lily could see this..."

"Alright—" Seeing that the two were about to sink into their grief, Roy immediately interrupted them. She looked gently at Harry, "We meet again, Harry. How have you been these past few days?"

"It was fulfilling and wonderful," Harry said.

"That's really good," Roy smiled.

After that, they went inside the tent and sat down.

Hagrid arrived shortly after Sirius entered the arena, carrying a dragon and occasionally tossing snacks (fresh meat) into the pocket of his robe.

Being absent-minded led me to go to the wrong place.

He sat down in the chair that had been specially made for him without any magical reinforcement or enlargement, and in doing so, he collapsed five chairs.

Upon hearing this, Mr. Weasley immediately ran to repair the broken items.

Hagrid then loudly apologized to everyone who would listen to him.

Moody's Kingsley, in charge of security, was drawn by the commotion and came to investigate. Hagrid was then reprimanded.

Hermione had no choice but to find Hagrid and take the dragon Bakal from his pocket to prevent him from causing another accident due to distraction.

But to her surprise, she saw an acquaintance, Percy, next to Moody.

What are you doing here?

Percy, who was being questioned by a strange witch, didn't react for a moment.

It was only after Ginny whispered something in his and Hagrid's ears that they realized what was happening.

This strange witch is Hermione in disguise.

"Security," Percy said curtly. "There are too many people here."

"I really don't know why Dumbledore would agree to their nonsense!" Mad-Eye Moody said gruffly, still expressing his displeasure with Bill and Fleur's decision to hold their wedding at this time.

"Nothing should go wrong." Percy's usually cold expression turned slightly awkward—after all, this was his brother's wedding. Although he didn't approve of holding a wedding under such a crisis, since things had already come to this, he only had the option of offering his blessings.

"It's not just the Order of the Phoenix, the Federation has sent people too," Percy said. "Look over there—"

Near the distant hills, a dozen or so wizards were patrolling. "They were all members of the Federation's special operations team."

"I know a few of them," Sirius said, coming over as well.

"Kent Norm, Basil Pierre, Winston Norm, Craig Yaxley—hmm—why is Miss Zhang here too?"

"Miss Zhang?" Hermione immediately realized, "Zhang Xiaolin?"

"Hmm!" Sirius nodded. "Although she currently works for the Federation, you basically won't see her in Sweden. A few months ago, a large ancient site was unearthed in Canada, and I had contact with her. The Ministry of Magic of the Great Ming Dynasty dispatched an archaeological team composed of the three major magic schools in the country to participate in the excavation of the site."

Lupin knew this better than anyone else; he was the head of the Federation's excavation committee.

"Why is she at the wedding?" Hermione said. "We don't think we're that close to her."

"Who knows?" Roy chimed in. "That's how the Ministry of Magic of the Great Ming Dynasty has always been. They like to think three steps ahead for every one step they take. Many times, their intentions are not immediately apparent, and their true meaning will only become clear after some time."

"Really?" Hermione felt a sudden sense of worry.

On the other side.

Harry hurried back to the entrance and found Ron standing face to face with a very strange-looking wizard.

The man was cross-eyed, with cotton candy-like white hair that cascaded over his shoulders, and the tassels on his hat hung straight down to his nose. He wore a bright yellow robe, its color dazzling and eye-catching.

He wore a gold chain around his neck with a strange symbol flashing on it, which looked like a triangular eye.

"Mr. Lovegood?" Harry naturally recognized the man in front of him.

Although the person looked completely unfamiliar to him, the aura he exuded immediately reminded him of Luna.

"Oh—it's me." Mr. Lovegood didn't recognize Harry. He explained to himself, "My daughter and I live up in the mountains. The kind Weasleys invited us. I thought you might know our Luna?" He was a little unsure about the last sentence. He knew Luna had many friends at Hogwarts, but he wasn't sure if this person was among them.

“Yes, sir, we’re good friends,” Harry said. “Didn’t she come with you?”

"She's in some charming little garden, greeting the goblins, who are everywhere and so lovely! Few wizards understand how much we can learn from these clever little goblins—oh, their proper name is garden engineer."

Harry couldn't connect intelligence with goblins at all. He used to goblin hunting with Ron every summer because they loved to burrow. If their numbers were reduced, they would quickly destroy an open space.

In the years of dealing with him, the clever Harry didn't see through it, but he was certainly cunning.

Especially when they were hurling insults at the goblins.

Those guys always manage to launch sneak attacks.

"Hello, Harry." Luna ran over at that moment.

A line of goblins followed behind her.

Those annoying guys are throwing mud at Luna.

Whether Luna had anticipated where the mud would land or was simply lucky, she skipped and hopped her way over without being hit even once.

After she ran into the crowd, the goblins dared not act recklessly anymore.

"Uh—well, my name is Barney!" Harry said in a panic.

"Oh? You changed your name?" Luna said cheerfully. "But Barney doesn't sound as good as Harry."

"How—how did you know?"

“Oh—we’re best friends,” Luna said. “Don’t we?” She winked. “And of course, your expression, and the buzzing flies in my ear.”

"Hmm? There are far fewer harassing flies." Luna said, staring with her round eyes. "I thought that when I saw you again, your head would be filled with harassing flies."

"No—" Harry smiled sheepishly.

Like her father, Luna wore a bright yellow robe, a rabbit-ear headband, small radish-shaped crystal earrings, and a sapphire necklace.

It was a Christmas present from Owen to her; Harry knew that, Luna had told him.

Although Luna's decorations looked quite strange, they appeared harmonious on her and made her look very cute.
