Chapter 436 Easter

"Oh, right, this one."

Professor McGonagall, already feeling dizzy with anger, looked at Koyatl; she had noticed the familiar girl long ago.

"You know Koyatl Stewart. Professor Euryale Hicks, the headmistress of Ilfamoni School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, discussed it with Professor Dumbledore and hoped that she could study at Hogwarts for a year as an exchange student," Owen explained.

"Hmm? An exchange student?" Professor McGonagall stared at Koyatl.

Hogwarts hasn't had an exchange student for many years, at least not for the last two or three decades.

"Where's Albus? Didn't he come back with you?" Professor McGonagall's voice was clearly tinged with resentment.

That's to be expected, after all, such a big thing happened at the school and Dumbledore was still outside.

The fact that Professor McGonagall didn't immediately launch into a tirade shows the depth of their long-standing friendship.

"Professor," Owen said, his expression somewhat helpless. He also glanced at Koyatl, "believe me, whatever Professor Snape just told you..."

Far away in the United States, in Port Isabelle, the actions of those purges were a thousand times worse, more evil, more inhumane, and more disgusting than you have heard.

In a little while, you will see the truth about Isabel, who defies the limits of humanity.

Faced with Owen's explanation, Professor McGonagall took a deep breath. Although she was far away at Hogwarts, she was also a member of the Order of the Phoenix and knew some of the truth about Port Isabel.

She knew Dumbledore's current predicament, but—alas—the world was becoming increasingly chaotic and evil, and she felt more and more powerless.

"Alright—she's coming with me," Professor McGonagall said wearily.

Then he waved his hand, signaling Owen to go and finish his work.

Nobody knows, nobody knows what will happen if today's events make it into the Daily Prophet tomorrow!

However, they don't need to guess.

Because soon the cold, hard reality will be laid bare before everyone.

To describe it as shocking would be disrespectful, as it falls short of conveying the overwhelming outcry and astonishment of the British wizards the following day.

In the following days, hundreds and thousands of wizards gathered in front of the Golden Hall of the Ministry of Magic, an unprecedented sight.

A massive protest march was held here, with curses and questions almost drowning out the entire Ministry of Magic building.

The Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Magic, in a bizarre move, allowed a wolf into the house by bringing in the Imposter to infiltrate Hogwarts and orchestrate a horrific attack on young wizards in an attempt to overthrow Dumbledore!

Good heavens—this is the most shocking news they've heard all year.

At first, nobody believed it.

This is outrageous. It's like a deliberate smear campaign, like the one in "Singing a Quixote".

But the Daily Prophet's several-day-long special report immediately silenced all the doubters.

This made the British wizards disbelieve it.

They were furious, they were hysterical, and they no longer wanted to hear any more explanations from the Ministry of Magic.

Everyone was consumed by rage; all they wanted was to see rivers of blood flow and send that damned Umbridge to the gallows.

And that monster, the Imposter, kill it and chop it into mincemeat.

As for Minister of Magic Barty Crouch.

Get him out of here immediately and start a trial to investigate whether he was the mastermind behind it all.

O wrathful people! Transform into heart-devouring beasts.

Any wizard who might have been involved became the target of public suspicion and attacks.

A revolution is about to take place.

Meanwhile, Hogwarts suddenly became deserted during the Easter holidays.

Although the culprit has been caught, everyone is still on edge these days and no one wants to wander around the castle. Instead, they stay in their rooms and don't go out.

Owen didn't stay in his dorm room; he secretly ran out of Hogwarts Castle.

Harry and the others who were expelled lived at number 12 Grimmauld Place, Black's ancestral home.

He was obviously going to find Hermione.

The little witch was too afraid to go home. She was afraid to tell her parents that she had been expelled. Owen knew Hermione; this was Hermione's greatest fear.

On the eve of the Easter holidays, with Kreacher's help, he easily left the castle.

Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. In – she held a research position at Reykjavík Art Museum focusing on the role of women in Icelandic art. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.

Owen's sudden appearance in the living room startled the young wizards present.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione immediately drew their wands.

However, upon seeing the person who arrived, Hermione rushed over in surprise and hugged him, while Harry and Ron put away their wands.

"I knew you'd come," Hermione said, blushing as she pulled away from his embrace.

"Have you all read the newspapers?" Owen asked. "Why don't you go to the castle?"

"We've been expelled!" Harry said resentfully. "The professor has to rewrite the acceptance letter."

“…” Owen rolled his eyes at Harry. “You’re really childish.”

"And besides, couldn't you guys have come up with a more sophisticated plan? How did Umbridge manage to catch you?"

Irving couldn't understand it.

There's Kreacher, and so many elves in Hogwarts kitchen.

And Sirocco, what were they thinking, taking matters into their own hands to rescue Luna?

Why not just send the little sprite and Sirocco directly?

"Don't even mention it," Hermione said through gritted teeth, her voice filled with malice. "We've been tricked."

"Have you been tricked?"

“That’s right!” she said. “We were against Umbridge’s detention of Luna without any evidence and we were planning to rescue her, but that afternoon, we just went to the Owl Tower to investigate.”

As you know, many young wizards believe Luna might really be the "Impersonator," and the attacks did indeed stop for a while.

"And then?" Owen pulled her along, and the two sat down on the sofa together.

Then, Hermione continued resentfully, "And then what!"

"We had barely arrived at the Owl Tower when Umbridge suddenly appeared out of nowhere and said we were planning to help Luna escape from prison, and that we were going to be fired, without giving us a chance to explain."

“That’s right,” Harry continued. “We were full of resentment at the time, but Umbridge was right about one thing: we really did want to rescue Luna. That very night, we rescued Luna with Schiele and left Hogwarts. Anyway, we didn’t want to stay at the school with that toad.”

"Uh—so after all that, you guys actually left on your own?" Owen said, suddenly realizing. "Not Umbridge who kicked you out?"

"Of course—can Umbridge drive us away? Ten of hers couldn't beat Hermione. Besides, there are seven or eight of us!" Ginny said proudly, tilting her head back to reveal her fair neck.

Harry nodded.

"And what about Luna?" Owen asked again.

“She was supposed to live here with us,” Hermione said. “I checked, Luna’s Patronus hasn’t changed at all; it’s still a rabbit. She’s not the Imposter at all.”

"Later she went home because Mr. Lovegood was furious and very anxious because Umbridge had slandered her so badly in the Daily Prophet, so we sent her home."

"We were planning to launch a counterattack on Hogwarts!" Harry shouted from the side.

"Huh? Counterattack Hogwarts?" Owen squinted at him, feeling that it sounded strange coming from the savior Harry Potter.

"Of course! Since Luna isn't the 'Impersonator,' that means the monster is still hiding at Hogwarts!"

"We've maintained contact with Seamus through the house-elves. He wasn't expelled, but since we left, there haven't been any more attacks at Hogwarts, so this matter has been delayed and hasn't been carried out."

“We suspected Umbridge might be behind this,” Ginny continued, her face grave and her eyes occasionally flashing with disbelief. “Like Hermione said, it’s too shocking that a high-ranking official in the Ministry of Magic would sacrifice a young wizard to oust Dumbledore. Although we’ve always had our suspicions, we’re unwilling to accept it.”

"I can't believe it's true!" Harry said, his face equally grim. "She deserves to be hanged! I mean it!"

"She's going to the gallows, it's inevitable," Hermione sighed. "It's my fault again, Owen—am I too cowardly?"

"If I had acted on Umbridge when I sensed something was wrong and examined her memories, perhaps there wouldn't have been so many attackers and victims afterward. Seamus has already told us. Theodore Nott was the last victim! He was completely transformed, right? He's dead!"

Hermione was somewhat agitated.

His voice trembled slightly, filled with self-blame and regret.

She gripped Irving's sleeve tightly, tears welling in her eyes.

"No—" Owen took her hand. "Don't be ashamed of your goodness. You just didn't expect anyone to be that evil."

"Besides, the professors could have thought of everything you could think of. Since they didn't intervene, what responsibility do you bear?"

He sighed, "Even I didn't expect Umbridge to be this ruthless. I originally thought she would just use her power to cause you trouble."

"Forget it—I won't talk about her anymore, it's bad luck."

Owen rubbed Hermione's cheek. "Think of the good things. At least after this incident, the Ministry of Magic will follow Professor Dumbledore closely. They will reach a new understanding and will never hold us back again."

His words of comfort did not make Hermione feel much better.

She is still blaming herself.

She has been making mistakes for the past year.

"But the price is too high." Ron, sitting next to Harry, spoke for Hermione, echoing his own thoughts: "Every collaboration results in deaths. What kind of Ministry of Magic is this?"

"Three years is a stretch. Fudge died, they cooperated for a while to fight the Death Eaters, then they started to turn against each other, and now—Barty Crouch is probably going to step down too. How long can this kind of cooperation last?"

Suddenly, he said viciously, his voice filled with malice, "I really don't know what the point of an organization like this is. It might as well be destroyed!"

“.” Owen looked at Ron.

He was greatly traumatized.

It's likely that a part of Ron's personality has been permanently altered. Owen isn't sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, and if necessary, he hopes to use the Oblivion Charm to erase some of Ron's memories.

"Given the current situation, having the Ministry of Magic is better than not having it. Without the Ministry of Magic, Britain would immediately descend into chaos."

"I know!!" Ron said emphatically, then changed the subject, softening his tone, "Hmm? Didn't Koyatl come along?"

"Don't get me wrong, my mother wants to see her, mainly because she saved my life."

"She—I don't get along with her at all." Owen shook his head, then whispered a few words to Kreacher.

Then, the little elf disappeared from the spot and went to the castle to find the red-eyed beauty.

"How did she end up at Hogwarts?" Harry asked, looking at the spot where Kreacher had disappeared.

"Koyatar?" Owen pondered for a moment, then replied, "Something like—well—refuge?"

"Refuge?" This question immediately drew the attention of everyone present except Ron.

"Koyatl's background is complicated," he continued. "She is one of Salazar Slytherin's descendants. I suspect that at least one of her mothers or fathers was a member of the Stewart family. We don't yet know how one of her parents ended up in the hands of the Purifiers, but it is clear that she was born from human alchemy experiments conducted by some wizards in this organization. This has been confirmed by the fact that the Federation has found some of the Purifiers' research notes in Port Isabel."

Currently, although the entire Purifiers are suffering repeated defeats under the Federation's attacks, the organization is deeply rooted in the United States, and her betrayal of the organization could very well lead to her being hunted down by it.

After discussing it with Headmaster Dumbledore, Elfald, the headmistress of Hogwarts, hoped that she could stay at Hogwarts for a year. She believed that after a year, all traitors and dark wizards would be purged from Hogwarts.

"Koyatl is a descendant of Slytherin?" Harry exclaimed in shock.

"Is she the child of alchemy experiments?" Hermione said.

The two had different concerns.

“Yes!” Owen rubbed his temples. “The Federation rescued a group of children from the Purifier Fortress in the captured Port Isabel—an evil that defies the limits of human vocabulary. The stories of dark wizards harming Muggles in the ancient Dark Ages pale in comparison to the tragedy of Port Isabel.”

"What?!" Even Ron, one of the young wizards present, couldn't help but show a look of shock. They knew Owen—for this guy who could use the Killing Curse as a basic attack, most things that they considered utterly evil were beneath his notice, such as casting the Crucifixion Curse on wizards—things that even he found too evil to mention, that...

Is Port Isabel hell?

"All I can say is that their research has indeed advanced the development of alchemical life technology and confirmed a hypothesis I've had for a long time."

"What conjecture?" Hermione pressed.

"Hmm—hasn't there always been speculation in the wizarding world about why wizards are born from Muggles? My view has always been that Muggles aren't really Muggles, but rather Squibs who have lost their magic. Didn't I say before that you might actually have Godric Gryffindor blood in you? It's just diluted."

"Now—ha—their technology confirms this, for example, the Stuart family is indeed a descendant of Salazar Slytherin, but their bloodline has become quite diluted after about two hundred years of intermarriage."

But their technology can purify bloodlines—don't ask me how, I can only say that in the deep-water harbor of Port Isabelle, the skeletons of infants alone are dozens of feet high.

"My God!" Hermione was speechless with shock.

"By Merlin!" Ginny couldn't help but open her mouth.

Ron and Harry were even more unsure what expression to make.

As he spoke, Kreacher Apparated back into the living room once more.

This time, however, it was accompanied by a black-haired, red-eyed girl.

The girl was somewhat reluctant and wary, but her expression returned to normal only after she saw who was sitting in the living room.

"Hi." Ron was the first to stand up and greet her.

"..." Koyater glared at him, then said, "What kind of look is that?"

She saw a hint of pity in Ron's eyes.

"Owen just mentioned your background," Ginny said bluntly. "We never expected that you... I'm sorry, I was rude to you before, uh—about your family," she said tactfully.

"Hmph—" Koyatl snorted, "I don't remember anymore."

"Sit here." Hermione walked over, pulled her to sit on her other side.

"I heard from Owen that you're going to study at Hogwarts for a year."

If you encounter any difficulties, just come to us. We'll do everything we can to help you.

"What if you can't do it?" Koyatl said coldly.

"We'll figure something out too," Hermione said, managing a weak smile.

Then she glared at Ron, signaling him to hurry up and speak, since he was the one most familiar with Koyatl among those present.

"Oh—by the way, which college do you want to go to? Do you need to choose a college?" Ron quickly came up with a topic.

"Professor McGonagall wants me to follow tradition and do the sorting after the holidays," she said.

"Then you'll definitely be sorted into Slytherin," Owen said. "Considering that the Slytherin guys will definitely annoy you, I suggest you go to another house."

"Other schools?" The girl raised an eyebrow. "Won't anyone cause me trouble then?"

"They wouldn't dare!" Hermione exclaimed quickly. "You can come to Gryffindor; it's the best at Hogwarts."

"Hey!" Owen said, clearly annoyed. "Perhaps you've forgotten, the hero who saved the world came from Hufflepuff!"

"Hmm—Hufflepuff is nice too," Hermione changed her mind, "but Gryffindor is definitely more suitable for you."

"Gryffindor—" the girl murmured a few times.

His gaze seemed to fall subtly on the person next to Harry.

"Sounds good."

"Of course—Gryffindor is the greatest house!" Harry exclaimed excitedly. "Courage is the greatest praise of mankind; no matter what you face, courage is the most important thing!"

"." Irving really wanted to spit on that damn Trump. Everything you said was my word!
