I, Hogwarts Second Time Around.

Chapter 418 The Potter Family Estate!

Chapter 418 The Potter Family Estate!

Miss Granger was steadfast and persistent.

Although Owen didn't have high hopes, he eventually agreed to let Nagini stay at Rozier's Magical Disability Hospital for observation.

They then left Nick's house.

The next few days.

Irving began traveling back and forth between the estate and the hospital.

They are busy treating patients.

There were fewer days spent alone with Miss Granger.

As the Christmas holidays drew to a close, Sirius Black left Paris with Harry and Ginny.

They must have gone to the humble abode.

Irving never saw Ron again.

He's probably enjoying himself in America right now. He probably won't return to Hogwarts until the new semester starts.

As for Hermione—she's busy again.

Aside from the fact that their homework had skyrocketed due to the upcoming OWL exams—the Ordinary Wizarding Level exams—she was also beginning to truly manage this enormous manor.

As one of the Rozier family’s important properties, the manor has many cellars and basements, attics and hidden rooms.

It also has a sizable library.

Hermione said she should make a list; she should at least know how much stuff is in the manor!

In short, the rest of the time passed like this.

The morning of the last day.

They quickly ate breakfast, put on their coats and scarves, and returned to their safe house in Hogsmeade Village through the Clockwork Door.

The January morning was grey and chilly.

The earth was covered in white snow.

There was thick snow everywhere.

The village still maintained a festive Christmas atmosphere, with Christmas trees decorated everywhere.

The two did not linger, but returned to the castle as quickly as possible.

Returning to the castle felt like the noise had suddenly returned.

They were quite late.

Some of the young wizards returned to the castle yesterday.

Inside the hall, many young wizards chatted and laughed, sharing their Christmas experiences.

At noon, Harry, Ginny, and the twins returned to Hogwarts.

However, he was rather unfortunate, as he ran into Snape as soon as he entered the house.

It should be said that Snape was waiting for him there on purpose.

"Monday evening at six o'clock, Potter!" Snape said coldly, then strode away.

He didn't say another word the entire time.

Harry looked dejected and lowered his head resignedly.

There was nothing he could do; he couldn't help him this time. Irving looked away, pretending not to see anything.

"Hi—how was Christmas?" Gemini seemed quite relaxed.

For them, this will be their last six months at Hogwarts.

They've finally graduated, and a vast world awaits them to explore.

Unlike Owen, who was willing to never graduate, they had wanted to leave Hogwarts for a long time.

If they weren't afraid of Mrs. Weasley's wrath, the two of them would have dared to drop out after finishing fifth grade.

"I didn't really experience a holiday during the two weeks of overtime work." Irving rubbed his wrists, having frantically finished his homework all morning. He was afraid he would be making another miracle with his pen tonight.

Damn it! He just didn't understand. He was busy saving people, busy saving the world!

I still have to do homework—ugh! That's ridiculous.

"You're quite pathetic," George said, sitting down beside him. "I heard from Harry that you inherited your family fortune?"

"What? You want to borrow money?" Irving said, raising an eyebrow.

"Investment! What loan?" Fred said seriously.

"Isn't that the same?"

"We can bring you profits! Besides, how can a large family like yours reproduce if you bury Galleons in your cellar? Do you understand investment? Our new project is a money tree! You'll make a fortune in the future."

"Sweet talk," Irving said, continuing to frantically finish his homework. "There's no point in you talking to me about this."

"All my previous money was swindled away by some pink-haired old bastard. The money I earned from treating patients went into the hospital's cash flow to maintain its daily operations. As for the inheritance my mother left me, find this person next to me; she has the key to the Gringotts vault."

"Hermione?" The twins were taken aback, then quickly realized, "Are you two moving so fast? You've already met each other's parents? When are you planning to get married?"

The two seemed to be chatting and laughing, but in reality, they had already quietly surrounded Hermione.

The little witch's cheeks flushed, but she was no longer as nervous as before, unable to speak. She simply coughed lightly, then glared at the two of them and said, "Investment is also an option."

"However, since you have all provided complete project plans and market research reports, I think they are feasible after reviewing them, and I will naturally invest."

Hermione is not one of those pure-blooded misers.

Born in London, one of the world's financial capital centers, Hermione was naturally familiar with Muggle angel investment.

Even if you've never eaten pork, how could you not have seen a pig run?

"Project proposal?" George asked.

"A market research report?" Fred said.

"What is that?" the two asked in unison.

"It's a written report analyzing and predicting the future development of your project," Owen explained. "What's the underlying logic of your project? What's the top-level design? What's the final delivered value? What are the key points in the process? How will you ensure a closed-loop marketing strategy? What are your highlights compared to others? What are your advantages? What are your thoughts and insights? What is your unique value?"

"Have you identified your niche? Have you conducted a thorough review of the first half of your life cycle? By making quantitative comparisons with other individuals in society who have accumulated similar time experience, can you identify the gaps in your existing and new assets across multiple dimensions?"

Irving's pen moved swiftly, his mouth gurgling.

The little wizard beside him was stunned.

After a moment of silence, everyone turned around. "What are you talking about?"

Hermione looked at him, her face full of confusion.

She understood the meaning of each individual word, but she couldn't put them together.

All she realized was, oh—so these two words can be put together!

"Jabbers!" Irving said.

"In short—how much money do you want?"

After being bombarded with a barrage of words, the Gemini finally came to their senses.

Then he said urgently, "Eighty thousand!"

Two voices rang out at the same time.

"With just 80,000 Galleons, we can open Weasley Alchemy workshops all over Europe and North America."

"What? What do you take me for?" Owen stared at the two of them, his eyes wide. "A rich, handsome guy? Casually throwing around 80,000?"

"Isn't that right?" the twins asked, puzzled.

"Uh—you're right, that's true." He put down his quill. "But that's too much. Eighty thousand Galleons. Where would I get that much money?"

"We don't need that much. That's the total investment. We can do it in batches. We can develop France first, and then develop Germany after we've made a profit. That way, we can save a lot of money."

"Alright." Owen thought for a moment. There should be tens of thousands of Galleons in the vault. After all, it was the Rozier family's inheritance. Sirius Black inherited a large sum of money from the now-impoverished Black family, so he would definitely have more.

"As long as you can persuade Miss Granger, I have no objection." He waved his hand. After all, the Rosier Magical Disability Hospital was now his personal property. Hospitals were a money-making business, especially in a society like the magical world where monopolies were prevalent. With a steady stream of income, the money he earned from this alone would be enough for him to live on.

"By the way, why don't you borrow money from Harry? He has quite a bit of wealth," Owen continued.

"Harry?" The twins were taken aback. They both knew that Harry had inherited a large portion of Galleons from his parents, but they didn't know how much it was. "Didn't his parents spend all their money?"

Fred stared at Owen, "The whole thing is about you, how dare you ask!"

Harry had spent a lot of money on them to learn spells.

"It's not his parents' money." Owen said with a dark face. Sure enough, Gryffindor wizards were very different from Slytherin wizards.

Upon entering Hogwarts, Slytherins would search for their family's history, as this ancient magical school held many stories that were not found outside of it.

They can easily find information about the great people and deeds of their family, thus solidifying their veneration of their lineage.

But the junior wizards from other houses—they didn't seem to care about such things at all.

Owen dares to say that Harry Potter didn't even know his grandfather's name!

Not to mention the Potter family’s long history.

He continued, "What about the Potter family's ancestral property? A pure-blood family, and not many children, with only one son per generation. Harry's grandfather was also a famous Potions Master, and his magical hair conditioner was famous throughout the wizarding world, selling far and wide overseas. All the assets, magical artifacts, and the Godric's Hollow mansion of this huge family were inherited by Harry alone."

And what about Sirius Black? He'll definitely leave all of Black's inheritance to Harry.

Oh—maybe even Snape. If Professor Snape were to pass away someday, I think the most likely outcome would be that he leaves his estate to Harry. The half-breed—he'd definitely have a lot of assets.”

Owen's words flowed rapidly, "He's inheriting all the wealth of the three great wizarding families! He's definitely going to be the richest wizard in Britain in the future."

"Oh—we had no idea!" The twins turned to look at Harry in shock. At that moment, Harry shone brightly in their eyes!

Working with Harry is much easier than dealing with Hermione.

"What are you two thinking? That's Harry's money." Ginny immediately stood up and blocked the way between the twins and Harry.

For some reason, George and Fred saw Hermione's shadow in Ginny.

Why are you so agitated?

Meanwhile, Harry suddenly became interested. He peeked out from behind Ginny and asked Owen, "What you're talking about? I don't know anything about that."

"Of course you wouldn't know," Owen rolled his eyes at Harry. "Do you think Gringotts is a bank? Does it have an obligation to notify the heirs to come and collect their money?"

"Guess who got all the money in the vaults after all those pure-blood family heirs passed away?"

"Huh?" Harry immediately realized it was those goblins; they wanted to steal their family's wealth.

"So, do I need to go to Gringotts?"

"You do have to go. You must make it clear that you want to open the Potter family's vault, not your own. Those goblins will definitely try to refuse, so you need to be firm."

"Don't we need a key?" Harry asked.

"No need. Even if the Potter family's vaults aren't as secure as the Black or Malfoy families' vaults, they still have a long history. These vaults are controlled by fairies, and the way to open them is through fairy magic."

"Really? Does that mean they can just take away a wizard's wealth at will?" Harry said, frowning.

"In most cases they won't, which is the cornerstone of Gringotts' survival. But if a vault's heirs are all confirmed dead, then the goblins can do whatever they want without any consequences."

"That's not good at all," Harry said angrily, because the goblins had their eyes on him. "Even if there's no heir, they can't just take away the wizards' private property; it doesn't belong to the goblins."

"This is the wizard's idea." Owen put away the papers on the long table. He had already finished writing about spells, and the next one was about the history of magic.

"The fairies believe that wizards only have the right to use all their creations, including Galleons. When the user dies, the item reverts to the fairy. Just like the Gryffindor sword."

"Nonsense!" Harry exclaimed. "They're just after the wizards' wealth. I really don't understand why wizards don't establish their own banks?"

"Oh—Professor Dumbledore is working hard to promote this, but I estimate that it won't be very effective in the short term, and it may not be officially implemented until 1999."

"1999? Why 1999?"

"Because that year the EU will officially unify its monetary policy and introduce the euro, which is symbolic. Well—that's pointless. Harry, you'd better prepare for Snape's first lesson."

Upon hearing this, Harry's face immediately fell. "Don't even mention it," he said irritably. "I thought I could handle it, but actually, just one glance at him and I'm already dreading Monday night."

"Then you're probably going to be in big trouble," Owen said without a hint of pity. "The most important first step in learning Occlumency is to clear your mind and focus your attention. If you're trapped in fear, you'll never learn it."

"Huh?" Harry groaned.

"I don't know what you're afraid of. Snape isn't going to eat you, he's someone who can leave you his inheritance after he dies, so what are you afraid of?"

"I," Harry paused, "He was always mocking me, laughing at me, and I couldn't help but want to punch him."

"Well—all I can say is, prepare to suffer!" Owen slowly stood up, nodded to Hermione, then left the bench and walked out of the Great Hall.

He was going back to the Hufflepuff common room.

The number of young wizards in the Great Hall is increasing, making it a less than ideal place to catch up on homework.

After crawling through the oak barrels and bending down to pass through a wooden tunnel, the view suddenly opened up.

Hufflepuff's lounge was still as warm and bright as ever.

Most of the young wizards from the academy have already returned.

He saw Hannah talking to Susan.

Justin was also there, but Ernie was not seen.

"Hi—Hannah." He walked over. "DA's badge isn't lit."

"I'm sorry, Owen," Hannah said apologetically. "My mother still doesn't want to leave home; she's afraid of the outside world."

"Alright." Owen walked to the table and chairs in the lounge, took out a blank parchment, and prepared to complete his history of magic assignment.

"Where's Ernie?" he continued. "Hasn't he come back yet?"

"I don't know. We came by Knight Bus, and the Hogwarts Express doesn't arrive until this afternoon. He should still be on the train," Justin said, his eyes fixed on Susan.

It seems the two of them have made great strides in their relationship during Christmas!

"Really?" Owen shook his head, seemingly unconcerned, and began writing his paper quickly.

I don't know what really happened.

They still hadn't seen Ernie by evening.

The school also held a dinner at seven o'clock as compensation for the Christmas dinner. During the dinner, Owen asked Hermione and Harry and heard that Ron had not returned yet.

Thursday, a new day.

Most of the young wizards have already begun to integrate into school life.

In the morning's Transfiguration class, Professor McGonagall taught them a brand new Transfiguration technique that allows a wizard's senses to connect with the transformed animal. For example, if you transform into an eagle, you can remotely gather intelligence through the eagle's eyes.

Overall, it's a very practical magic. Everyone's enthusiasm for learning it is very high.

The afternoon class was History of Magic. It was a boring class, and I spent it dozing off.

Then came the elective course on ancient runes, which was meaningless for Irving.

He plans not to take this course again after the OWL exam this year.

Bathilda Babling adored him and certainly hoped he would take the advanced NEWT class of this course.

If she knew what Irving was thinking, she would probably be very sad.

That evening, Irving and his friends went to the House of Requirement.

DA's first gathering after the new year.

Everyone was very curious about this mysterious room inside the castle.

Of course, this is because there are a large number of junior wizards.

This time, the Room of Requirement was larger than ever before, and Owen had prepared double insurance. He placed the captured briefcase inside the Room of Requirement and hid it with a Disillusionment Charm, so that if anyone broke in, the little wizard could hide inside the briefcase.

Tonight's party wasn't very fruitful; the young wizards wasted too much time sharing their holiday experiences. Although they did practice spells, they were distracted.

Two hours later, everyone left the House of Requirement together.

Owen and Harry talked for a while, but still there was no news of Ron. Ernie was still with Hufflepuff, and there were a few people with Ravenclaw as well.

After their investigation, they discovered that almost all of these young wizards had gone to the United States during their holidays.

It's certain that something happened in the US that led them to close the border; there's no other explanation.

Upon realizing this, everyone immediately became worried.

But it was all in vain; they could only return to their respective dormitories and wait for news.

the next day.

During the Defense Against the Dark Arts class in the morning.

They met Umbridge again.

Despite the torment she endured from Irving, she looked exactly the same as before, dressed in a pink suit, staring with terrifying toad eyes and an unsettling smile on her lips.

Only when his eyes looked at Irving did they change; it was a hatred etched into his very bones.

Hannah and the others frowned. Others might not have seen it, but she, Susan, and Ernie saw it clearly.

That was a look that shouldn't be on a professor.

She's definitely planning something wicked.

Without a doubt!
