I, Hogwarts Second Time Around.
Chapter 214 1 Forgetting All is Emptiness
Chapter 214 All is Oblivion
"I never thought that someone as fearless as you would be so embarrassed by a pretty girl." Sirius tilted his head back, a slightly lewd smile playing on his lips.
That unrestrained and unconventional temperament is palpable; one can only imagine that in his youth, he was someone who could pass through a hundred flowers without ever getting entangled with them.
Of course, it's more likely that the godfather of dogs is gay.
Irving subtly made the connection.
"Girls are too much trouble. Men are much simpler and more direct." Owen winked at Sirius, "Haven't you thought about finding Harry Potter a godmother? Or..."
His gaze was full of meaning. "I understand! I understand completely!"
"I won't laugh at you, Godfather Dog. This is a magical world, after all. Humans can combine with magical creatures, so what's wrong with being of the same gender? Keep going, don't have any worries, I've got your back!"
With that, he strode across the covered bridge, disappearing from the castle gate beneath the large clock tower as if afraid of being beaten.
"That little brat."
Sirius cursed angrily, while Professor Lupin laughed. Suddenly, he had the illusion of returning to his carefree Hogwarts days.
A few days later, rumors began to circulate at Hogwarts about the whereabouts of the Godfather Dog.
Owen, the instigator, touched his non-existent conscience and earnestly told Harry, who had discovered the rumors originated from him, "I was only doing it for his own good. Look how sparsely populated the Black family is. Besides, he's over thirty, practically on his deathbed. Do you want Godfather Dog to die alone?"
Harry, having been swayed by him, suddenly realized what was going on, patted Owen on the shoulder, thanked him profusely, and then ran off happily.
Watching Harry's departing figure, Owen suddenly felt a little guilty. This kid is getting easier and easier to fool!
Has he gone mad?
Of course, the Demon King's conscience is indescribable; it may exist or it may not.
He then began to look forward to the exciting drama of a father who would educate his son and persuade him to get married.
Spring returns to the earth in April.
The willow tree, having shed its silver coat, sprouted new buds.
Everything in the castle seemed to come alive.
Quidditch matches are becoming more and more frequent.
The goal is to make up for the schedule lost in the previous two months.
Harry had to set aside time each day to practice flying.
Although the Weasley twins believed Harry was invincible with Firebolt, Wood still insisted on assigning him a whole host of training goals.
Time passed day by day.
Until mid-April.
Hermione, who had been missing for a long time, finally returned to her loyal Gryffindor.
"She looks terrible," Ron said nervously in the auditorium.
"She herself said that in the past few days, her heart has been beating a little fast, she has chest tightness and shortness of breath, her head is dizzy, and she feels dizzy when she stands up or squats down."
"She said she didn't want to eat, she just wanted to rest. But her cheeks were sunken from hunger."
"???" Owen, with a loaf of bread smeared with applesauce, dark circles under his eyes, and a face etched with exhaustion, exclaimed in astonishment, "She's not going to die, is she?"
Where is she?
"The lounge!" Ron replied.
There were hardly any people at the long tables around.
Because this is not mealtime, it's already past 9 pm.
Nobody comes to the auditorium to eat at this time. Except for the seventh graders who are still studying late into the night, the auditorium has become their second library.
"Then why don't you take her to the school clinic!" Owen suddenly stood up, feeling a little dizzy.
Okay—he's been staying up really late too.
Ron looked at him nervously as he swayed, his eyes full of sympathy. Look at what Hogwarts has driven these good students to.
Hmm—thankfully he wasn't a good student.
Rushing from the Great Hall to the Gryffindor Tower, I wonder how sudden death is treated in the magical world.
However, if the heart stops beating, apart from cardiopulmonary resuscitation, there is probably no magic potion in the magical world that can bring someone back to life if it is delayed for too long.
On the spiral staircase, Owen suddenly remembered that Granger hadn't returned the time converter he'd borrowed since last time.
Lost~
Since he himself had no need for that thing, he didn't pay much attention to it. In addition, Dumbledore's academic requirements for him were getting higher and higher during this period.
Why is his alchemy work completely different from Percy's? It's at least two or three levels more difficult.
Under Percy's sympathetic gaze (he finally let go of his resentment; being student council president wasn't so easy after all), he finally stayed up all night too.
In order to observe Professor Sprout's new cabbage variety and accumulate experimental data, he hasn't had a good night's sleep for several days.
He was kept alive only by stimulants.
Mmm—an energy booster! The best potion at Hogwarts.
So he had long forgotten about the time converter.
In other words, although Hermione disappeared for more than half a month, only God knows how long she actually spent.
"Playboy~"
As soon as Ron entered the Gryffindor Tower, he began reciting the command.
Then, amidst the fat lady's aunt-like smile and Owen's bewildered expression, the two crawled into the hole in the wall.
Damn! Is this a veiled attack on me? Is this a veiled attack on me?
"What did I do?" Owen shouted innocently. He'd been so busy lately he wished he had an extra brain. Besides—Grandpa was right, so-called love is nothing more than a chemical reaction of animals procreation. It makes you dizzy and excited at first, then slowly fades away, leaving you with only a failed marriage. Don't repeat the same mistake, elevate yourself, focus on science—magic.
And
Early romantic relationships are bad.
Early romantic relationships are harmful to health
As soon as Owen entered the Gryffindor common room, he heard Angelina's voice.
"Oh my god, Hermione, what are you doing?"
She was a Gryffindor batsman and captain of the Gryffindor team after Wood graduated, two years ahead of Harry.
"No, wait. Don't do this."
"Forget All"—the silvery-white spell swept through the air and, to everyone's astonishment, struck Lavender directly.
With a bang, the little girl was sent flying backward, her body arching as she shrank into the armchair.
She turned her head to the side, her clear eyes seemed to be covered by something, then slowly withdrew, along with something from her inner self, all of which disappeared.
"Merlin's beard!"
Ron stared wide-eyed in shock at what was happening in the Gryffindor common room.
At this moment, the fire in the fireplace had not yet gone out.
The parchment filled the sky and the ground like snowflakes.
The fire sparked and ignited the flammable paper.
Amidst the flickering sparks, an invisible sense of oppression emanated from the swaying figure.
Hermione held up her wand.
His tired eyes were filled with anger.
Her gaze slowly lowered, and her expression darkened further when she saw the many parchments burning in the fireplace.
The delicate handwriting on it clearly shows her hard work.
Then, Hermione addressed everyone in a harsh, low, and slightly threatening tone, "If anyone dares to bother me again..."
"I'll turn her into a beetle, lock her in a jar, and bury her in the deepest part of Hogwarts!"
In the firelight, her bloodshot eyes were exceptionally terrifying, and all the young wizards involuntarily looked away the moment they met her gaze.
To be fair, very few of them could beat Hermione.
Perhaps it's because the academy wars were suspended this year.
This gave them a slight misconception that Miss Granger was a nice, easy-going lady.
While everyone felt a momentary chill, only one person slowly raised a thumb, exclaiming, "Wow~~~ Cool!!!"
As he spoke, Hermione happened to be looking at him.
Irving is certain that the moment his son-in-law looked at him, he was probably thinking about whether it was better to braise, steam, or fry a person.
Because the fiery light in her eyes could set him on fire.
"Forehead"
"Although I know I'm handsome, please don't stare at me like that, because you can't have all my good looks to yourself."
Hermione's cheek twitched slightly at the words of a certain narcissist.
Before she could even vomit out of nausea...
It felt like something had hit her head hard.
Suddenly, it felt like the world was spinning, and then, in full view of everyone, he collapsed without warning.
With a "whoosh".
Just as she fell and buried herself in the pile of parchment at her feet, a spell struck her with perfect accuracy.
Then she floated up.
And there was no fall or injury.
"What are you standing there for?" Owen frowned and ran over.
He reached out and felt Hermione's pulse at her neck.
Hmm! Still jumping, hasn't suddenly died.
He then turned to Angelina and said, "Notify Professor McGonagall!"
See you at the school clinic!
He then waved his wand, and Hermione slowly floated up, then under his control, she 'flew' away from the lounge.
"Hey! Owen." At that moment, Harry, standing in the crowd, realized what was happening.
He rushed over and asked Owen, "What about Lavender? How is she?"
"Her?" Owen smiled calmly. "It's just amnesia, no big deal. After some time, we'll clear the curse affecting her brain, and she'll recover in no time."
"Amnesia? Why do you need a while? You're fine now."
"Because I need some peace and quiet for a while, bro!" Irving retorted. "Oh, and collect all the parchment on the ground, and the ones in the fire, and fix them up. She'll definitely be eager for them when she wakes up."
Amnesia!
Just as Irving was about to leave.
Another voice came from Neville, who was standing some distance behind Harry.
His face was pale, as if he had suffered some kind of blow, and his eyes were wide open.
He froze on the spot.
"What's wrong with him?" Harry noticed Neville's expression, but he didn't know why Neville was reacting so strongly.
"Could it be that it's about to awaken?"
"Awakening?" Harry asked, puzzled.
Owen, however, smiled without saying a word, continuing to hold his wand and play with Hermione, before slowly floating out of the doorway.
Neville's memory is appallingly bad.
This is for a reason.
As is widely known, his parents were driven insane by the Death Eaters.
That scene was witnessed by young Neville.
To prevent Neville from being affected by the images of his parents being tortured by Death Eaters, his grandmother Augusta used a forgetting spell to erase Neville's memory of that time.
This severely damaged his memory as a child, to the point that Neville's memory became unusually poor later on. However, this situation will improve once he regains that memory.
In fact, in most wizarding worlds, the sudden loss of memory is likely due to the Forgetting Curse.
I wonder if Lavender will become forgetful again after waking up.
He used magic to send Hermione to the school infirmary.
Although it was late at night, Mrs. Pomfrey had not yet left work.
She was busy at a hospital bedside, and when Owen entered, he saw the unfortunate man on that bed.
He is a fourth-year wizard in Ravenclaw.
He must have been cursed.
Thick black mane grew on its chest, just like the mane around a lion's neck.
He was struggling to shave the hair with a knife.
Unfortunately, every time he shaved, the bristles would grow back.
"Stop scratching!" Madam Pomfrey took a bottle of potion from a nearby medical cabinet and smeared the dark, sticky potion, which smelled of some kind of fishy odor, on his chest.
Then, the wizard's mane, as if sprayed with weed killer, suddenly turned from black to white, and then fell off naturally like a kite with a broken string.
"Oh! Merlin's beard, it's really useful!" the little wizard squealed excitedly.
"Don't be too happy yet!"
"Mrs. Pomfrey said in a deep voice."
And just as she said, the little wizard, who hadn't been happy for two seconds, suddenly noticed that some hairs had somehow fallen out of his sight.
He frantically raised his hand and rubbed the top of his head.
The result was obvious, of course, and it wasn't just his hair.
His eyebrows, eyelashes, body hair, and all the body hair had fallen out.
"Good heavens!" he exclaimed.
Wow—a bald man suddenly jumped out from the crowd.
Owen stood quietly to the side, showing no intention of mocking him.
He just wanted to wait until Mrs. Pomfrey left so he could sell the Weasley twins' new product, a fast-acting hair growth serum, to that poor little fellow.
What are you doing here?
At this moment, Mrs. Pomfrey finally noticed a pair of eyes staring frantically at the bald man, Owen, standing in the aisle.
"Flying kites!" he said.
Then he pointed to the kite floating above his head.
The magical threads tugged at Hermione as she floated in the air.
For a moment, the pitch-black night seemed particularly eerie.
Guided by her directions, Madam Pomfrey finally spotted Hermione floating above Owen's head.
She frowned and said in a reproachful tone, "Put her down right now, what are you doing?"
"OK!"
He waved his wand, and Hermione landed smoothly on a clean hospital bed.
"What's wrong with her?" Madam Pomfrey immediately went over and began to examine Hermione's body with her wand in hand.
"Sudden fainting due to overexertion may be accompanied by medication overuse, anemia, and emotional distress."
"?" Madam Pomfrey glanced back at him, her eyes full of scrutiny.
"Don't look at me! I didn't do anything!" Irving innocently spread his hands. "Why do you all think the problem is with me? Damn it. I've lost out big time!"
Is being outstanding a sin?
"You are very good." Madam Pomfrey did not deny it. Then she turned around and rummaged through her medicine cabinet, eventually finding a bottle of pale purple potion among the bottles and jars.
"Help her up," she said to Owen.
"Oh!" Owen responded, then stepped forward and helped Hermione up.
"They have absolutely no sense of responsibility," she continued.
He poured the potion into a small bowl and then, with a spoon, fed it to Hermione spoonful by spoonful.
"None of you kids are any easy to deal with. Especially since Sirius came back. He was a troublemaker when he was young, and now he's inciting a bunch of Gryffindor wizards to fight with the Slytherins." She didn't seem to like Sirius.
Of course, this is also obvious.
As a healer, she dislikes anything or anyone that might harm a young wizard or incite them into danger.
Previously, Pomfrey's most hated child was himself.
"But ultimately, these wounds are all on the body." Her brown eyes shone with the wisdom of an elder, then, like a gentle afternoon conversation between a grandmother and her grandson, she continued, "But some wounds are in the heart."
"The physical wounds can be healed with potions, but what about the wounds in my heart?"
"Don't rush to refute me." She could see Owen's lips were about to speak, so she glared at him and interrupted him. "I've been in the castle for over fifty years."
"I've seen plenty of those men and women, especially among junior wizards."
"Back then, Lily with red hair wasn't just loved by James and..." She paused for a moment.
"Snape?" Owen continued.
"You know?" A hint of surprise flashed in Madam Pomfrey's eyes, but she quickly regained her composure and continued feeding Hermione the potion.
"You're like that red-haired Lily, the most popular girl in the academy."
"Ha—that's a brilliant analogy," Harry Potter said.
"Don't tremble!"
"Excellent!"
"This is not a good thing, especially for you," Mrs. Pomfrey continued seriously. "While you were unconscious on Christmas Day, countless little witches came and went in and out of the school infirmary. You don't know, that's because that girl named Hannah kept them all out."
"Uh," Irving was momentarily embarrassed.
Well—he really didn't know.
He didn't even know he had spent time in the school clinic.
He woke up in the principal's office.
Looking back now, it makes sense. After I fainted, I should have gone to the school infirmary first, and only went elsewhere after Mrs. Pomfrey had examined me.
"Girls are much more fragile than you think," she said. "Don't take it for granted that they should make sacrifices."
Mrs. Pomfrey's gaze towards Owen held no reproach.
After all, most things in this world are equal, except for love. That slick-haired professor is a prime example of this.
Perhaps Lavender's love potion had been bothering Madam Pomfrey lately, which is why she was telling herself so much.
At least that's what Irving guessed.
Otherwise, she would never have said so much to herself, whom she considered the number one troublemaker.
