I, Hogwarts Second Time Around.

Chapter 19 Eating melons is a sign of civilized progress

Chapter 19 Eating a big melon is a sign of civilized progress (Please continue reading.)

"I must emphasize again! The 'Gnawing on the Big Melon' spell is truly exceptional; this magic was practically made for wizards!"

"Stop!" Hermione raised her hand, emphasizing repeatedly, "Nobody wants to learn that kind of evil magic—"

"No, no, no. Miss Granger, I think you are completely wrong!"

With short black hair, untamed gray eyes, and a wicked smile playing on his lips, Owen said calmly, "I believe the wizard who invented Avada Kedavra was absolutely the kindest person in the wizarding world!"

"What?" The group of young wizards stared at him in shock. After a week of baptism, they were almost immune to most of Owen's evil thoughts.

But that guy always manages to surprise you. For example, some people actually think that the Killing Curse is the kindest curse!

"No pain, instant death, a single, fatal blow. Do you know how many people tormented by ancient magic this has saved?"

As he spoke, he slowly raised his wand with his right hand, the tip of the wand pointing at the palm of his left hand.

Suddenly, an invisible aura emanated from Owen's body and spread outwards, with purple light seemingly flowing from the center of his staff.

About half a second later, he suddenly pointed his wand at a rock behind him.

The purple lightning bolt, like a venomous snake, instantly darted into the rock.

Then, right before everyone's eyes, the stone began to swell wildly, then expanded rapidly as if being inflated, and then exploded with a "bang"!

Harry, Justin, and the others instinctively used their hands to shield themselves from any flying stones.

A moment later, however, he felt nothing.

"This—" Hermione lowered her arm, staring blankly into the distance at the scattered, light stones that had become like shredded cloth.

"Ancient magic, Miss Granger." Owen turned and smiled slightly. "Ancient wizards were far more barbaric than modern wizards."

"At least the Killing Curse will leave them with a complete corpse, won't it?"

"But—" Hermione instinctively wanted to retort, but the words wouldn't come out because she immediately understood what Owen meant.

In modern times, the death penalty for Muggles is execution by firing squad.

Is execution by firing squad terrible?

terrible!

But it was much more civilized than the previous methods of hanging, beheading, and dismemberment.

On the other hand, the Killing Curse does indeed represent the progress of wizarding civilization!

Even though it is hailed as the most evil magic.

"Of course, with your current abilities, learning a high-level spell like the Killing Curse is still too difficult," Owen continued. "But if anyone needs it in the future, two Galleons, guaranteed to teach you until you learn!"

"So what exactly are you going to teach us?!" Ron couldn't help but jump out and complain.

We paid for it!

"Roll over!" Irving exclaimed, his eyes wide with nonchalance. "Didn't we just say that?"

"Come on, now I'm casting a spell, you dodge! You'd better be quick!"

"three!"

"Wait, I'm not ready yet—" Ron immediately shouted.

But the next second a gray spell flew toward him and hit him precisely.

"Zero!" Owen swiftly raised his wand. "Petrify them all!"

He collapsed to the ground, completely unconscious!

"Freeze!"

"Upside-down kick!"

In a matter of seconds, Owen was frantically throwing out spells as if they were free.

Ron was the first to be affected.

Next up is Justin.

Then came Hannah.

As for Harry

He seemed to have a lot of experience in escaping; when Owen started throwing spells indiscriminately, he began to frantically move around.

He persisted even longer than Hermione.

Hermione at least used the Levitation Charm to grab a rock and hold it in front of her, barely managing to deflect a curse that was flying toward her.

But they managed to dodge one.

Because there weren't many rocks around.

The second spell hit Hermione in the calf, leaving her with nowhere to escape. The biting cold froze her legs, followed by a Stunning Spell that struck her in the back. The little witch was defeated on the spot and collapsed in the open ground.

Harry—he endured two more curses than Hermione.

"Tsk tsk, you guys! You're the worst class I've ever taught!"

With that, he suddenly waved his spell, and golden light showered down on everyone. "All curses are broken!"

"Help them heal quickly! Heal them completely!" With a wave of healing magic, a group of young wizards were resurrected on the spot.

"My classes are two hours long," Owen said, holding up his wand and smiling sweetly. "That means—lots of obstacles ahead!"

"They'll all be petrified!"

"Thunderous Explosion!!!"

Harry and his friends spent the entire afternoon in the open space outside the castle, a truly miserable time.

They experienced almost all of those non-aggressive obstacle spells firsthand.

And that demon.

The mockery and violence lasted for a full two hours.

Not a second off!

This, of course, successfully attracted the professors from the castle.

After all, they're not deaf or blind.

The first person to arrive at the scene was Harry's savior, Hogwarts Headmaster Dumbledore.

The old headmaster was slightly taken aback when he saw Owen giving the young wizards a crazy military training session.

Just when Harry and his friends thought the headmaster was coming to rescue them.

Suddenly, Dumbledore took out his wand, tapped it lightly, and transformed a nearby stone into a chair. Then, ignoring Harry's pleading look, he sat steadily in the chair and happily watched the show for the entire afternoon.

Even Professor McGonagall and Professor Sprout, who arrived later and wanted to intervene, were stopped by him.

"This is a learning and exchange activity for young wizards, and we should encourage this kind of friendly exchange," the old headmaster said.

This drew sidelong glances from the two professors standing nearby.

"Is this what you call learning?" Professor McGonagall asked.

"Is that what you call friendliness?" Professor Sprout said.

Hogwarts does condone certain conflicts between students.

After all, magic is a craft.

If you don't use it often, you'll become rusty.

Unless the students cause a major incident, such as a brawl between Gryffindor and Slytherin students, or happen to be caught by a professor, professors generally won't interfere.

But today—Irving went too far.

A large group of young wizards had already gathered behind them.

The impact was extremely negative.

"Don't worry, Minerva." Dumbledore smiled and stood up, then pointed to Hermione and Harry, who were suffering.

Look closely.

"Look?" Professor McGonagall looked over.

Just then, a deadly spell flew toward Hermione's forehead. In the blink of an eye, the little witch flicked her hand, and a delicate phantom armor suddenly appeared in front of her, completely blocking the spell.

"This—" Professor McGonagall was shocked. It was the Armor Charm!

Moreover, it is a rather ingenious armor spell.

Most third-year wizards are unable to cast such magic.

They might succeed, but never with such finesse.

It's hard to believe that this magic was performed by a young wizard who had been enrolled for less than a week.

"And look at the other children," Dumbledore's gentle voice rang in the ears of the two professors.

Immediately, the two professors reluctantly set aside their prejudice against Irving and focused their attention on the other children.

Harry, Ron, Hannah, Justin.

Each of them was struggling to cope with the curses flying towards them.

Although they couldn't resist with magic like Hermione, their quick reflexes really startled the two professors.

They even saw Harry, following Owen's gesture, throw out a disarming charm that wasn't very successful, but was destined to be successful.

"Perhaps we have spoiled these children too much." Dumbledore's deep gaze was hidden behind his semi-circular spectacles, a gaze that seemed to see through time, as if looking into a person's entire life.

Irving Sanchez.

He slowly uttered the name in his heart.

Gellert has really raised an excellent child!

Another leader came to inspect today; previously it was Sun Liancheng's deputy, today it was Li Dakang. I spent the whole morning preparing various things; there was no time to slack off. It's a little late.
