Wearing a lounge shirt and cashmere vest, Klein got up and went outside. Finding the visitor somewhat unexpected, he opened the door and chuckled.

"Good afternoon, Emlyn. Shouldn't you be helping out at Harvest Church at this time?"

The newcomer was none other than Emlyn White, a vampire with hair combed back to the side and a handsome, almost effeminate appearance. Upon hearing Klein's greeting, Emlyn's previously arrogant expression froze, and it took him a while to recover.

"I have something to ask you, Sherlock, Moriarty, detective!" Emlyn uttered each word clearly.

After inviting him into the living room, Klein returned to his armchair and asked with a smile:

"What is it? The consultation fee is £1, but it cannot exceed one hour."

Emlyn White ignored his words and said thoughtfully:

Audrey knew when to stop, subtly steer the conversation in another direction, a hint of confusion and bewilderment in her eyes, as she asked:

"Didn't Alfred say he was coming back two weeks ago? Why haven't we heard from him yet?"

"That's a good thing."

Earl Hall's expression suddenly relaxed, and he said with a smile, "Alfred has been transferred by the royal family to carry out some classified missions. After this mission is completed, he will receive enormous benefits. For example, a hereditary title of at least viscount!"

"Viscount."

Hilbert paused in his steak-cutting motion, a clear look of envy in his eyes. Although he could inherit the earldom effortlessly, Alfred's achievements filled him with immense admiration. Because, at this rate, Alfred becoming an earl was only a matter of time, and even a marquess wasn't out of the question!

Audrey frowned, a sense of unease creeping in. Just days before, her parents had been secretly discussing the matter, expressing concern for Alfred's safety and explicitly stating their desire to avoid any deeper involvement with the royal family. "A normal father wouldn't say something like that! He would comfort himself like Mom would, instead of scolding him with an unfeeling attitude. Something has influenced Dad to prioritize Alfred's 'secret mission' above all else, not allowing anyone or anything to contradict it!"

Audrey was very familiar with this ability because it was essentially a psychological suggestion through the audience channel!
