Hogwarts: I'm Harry's older cousin

Chapter 64. How did we get here?

Chapter 64. How did we get here?

His greasy tone, coupled with his striking platinum blonde hair, immediately caught the eye.

Who else could it be but Malfoy?

"Robert, who do you think I am? I am Malfoy, the one who keeps his word."

"Don't compare me to other people."

Malfoy looked at Ron with disdain, slightly tiptoeing to try and look down at him, but unfortunately he was slightly shorter than Ron, so even on tiptoe he could only look him straight in the eye.

"But you're late."

Ron raised his voice slightly and angrily yelled at Malfoy, "And my name is Ron, Ron Weasley, not Robert."

"Okay, Robert."

Malfoy waved his hand impatiently, as if to say he had no intention of talking to him at all. His gaze then turned to Harry, which infuriated Ron.

"Porter, where's your assistant? Is it this Robert, or... uh..."

Malfoy had intended to mock Harry, but when he saw Hermione hesitate, he realized that everyone in Slytherin knew that Dudley and Gryffindor were close friends.

"Ron, it's Ron," Harry corrected Malfoy, and quickly explained, "Hermione just followed out of curiosity, she won't interfere."

He didn't want to involve Hermione either.

Ron sized up Malfoy with ill intent, his eyes gleaming with desire: "So, Malfoy, what about your assistants? What about those two chubby guys next to you? Or do you want to go alone?"

"Hmph, if you want to fight two against one, then bring it on."

Malfoy was not intimidated by Ron's threats at all. Potter was at least qualified to fight him, but what about a mere little Ronnet?

Moreover, I found a very reliable assistant.

"Hey bro, you're not talking about me, are you?"

Another voice rang out from outside the door, and a massive body completely blocked out the light at the entrance.

"Dali (Brother D)?!"

Upon hearing that incredibly familiar voice, two voices filled with surprise rang out from inside the room.

"Hmph, this is my assistant."

Malfoy, beaming with pride, defiantly raised his eyebrows at Harry.

Malfoy did initially intend to break his promise, but he quickly dismissed the idea. After Dudley's guidance over a period of time, he changed a lot.

Of course, this has nothing to do with Malfoy liking to cause trouble for Harry.

He simply disliked Harry.

If before it was just about why he wouldn't be friends with me, now it's about why Potter gets to have a brother like that.

I never said I agreed to that, did I?

Dali shook his head with a hint of helplessness.

"You want me to deal with my brother?"

Malfoy has changed a lot during this time; at least he's not as annoying as he used to be, otherwise Dudley wouldn't have continued to teach him.

"What are you two doing here in the middle of the night instead of sleeping?"

Dudley ran into Malfoy sneaking out of Slytherin after finishing his evening training. Hearing that Malfoy had made plans with Harry, he decided to come along too.

Harry glared at Malfoy and began to explain.

"This is my brother!"

"A wizard duel?"

Dudley's expression became even stranger after hearing Harry's explanation.

I looked around at the crowded room, which was so packed that there was barely enough room for a few people to stand.

"Here?"

How could these two guys even think of having a duel in a place where it's so difficult to even move? Are they going to decide the winner by playing Dou Dizhu (a card game)?

Hey, believe it or not, there are exactly three of us.

Of course, the movement mentioned here is based on Dudley's own body shape.

"Hermione, they're going to duel, what are you doing here?"

Dudley walked over to Hermione, took off his own clothes, and draped them over her.

The castle was a bit chilly at night.

"I couldn't sleep and was worried they'd get caught and lose points, so I came here."

Hermione stammered a few words, omitting what happened in the Gryffindor common room, and secretly breathed a sigh of relief when Dudley didn't delve into it.

What was initially thought to be a childish duel suddenly became interesting when Dudley saw Harry and Malfoy locked eyes, as if sparks were flying in the air.

So he asked, "Do you really want to fight?"

"Yes!" they both said in unison.

"Then let's have a fight."

Dali made no attempt to stop them.

"Dullie?" Hermione looked at him with surprise. Harry was her brother.

Dudley shrugged.

Although he didn't know why the two disliked each other, he just did it.

Actually, whether they win or lose, it won't do them any harm at this stage, so why try to stop it?

With their current magical knowledge, it's already quite an achievement to throw a tiny spark from their wands. Most of the time, it's hand-to-hand combat, at most leaving them with dark circles under their eyes. Dudley's potions can easily eliminate such flesh wounds. Not everyone is like Hermione, who has almost finished previewing the second-year curriculum in her first year.

Moreover, boys' friendships are often forged through fighting.

"See you at the usual place at six o'clock tomorrow morning."

If they really wanted a duel, Dudley would definitely recommend changing the location to outside Hogwarts Castle. It's spacious, and there aren't many people around early in the morning, so they can fight however they want.

"Now! Go back to sleep!"

Dudley opposes staying up late because it is harmful to health, liver, and skin, but he supports waking up early.

With Dudley's words, even if the two wanted to fight, they couldn't for the time being.

Obediently followed behind Dali.

The group headed back the way they came. Dudley would definitely take Hermione and the others back to Gryffindor first, and then return to Slytherin with Malfoy.

To be fair, Hogwarts Castle is very large inside, much larger than it appears from the outside. It's obvious that Hogwarts has been enchanted with a tethering spell, as there are a total of 142 staircases inside the castle. The sheer number of staircases is enough to make one's scalp crawl.

However, it is useless to just remember these 142 staircases, because these staircases are constantly moving and changing. Think about it, how many routes are there if there are 142 staircases that can be combined and arranged?

It's as intricate as a giant maze; just trying not to get lost is no easy feat.

There's even a saying at Hogwarts that if you've never gotten lost at Hogwarts, you haven't actually attended any classes there.

Fortunately, they are normal most of the time.

Otherwise, the little wizards wouldn't have to do anything all day except find their way.

The magic of the Hogwarts staircase doesn't end there. Every Friday, it connects to strange places, leading to unfamiliar rooms or inexplicable destinations. This is why many young wizards are so enthusiastic about exploring Hogwarts, because you never know what surprises it will bring next.

Dali looked thoughtfully at the corridor in front of him, a corridor that he absolutely did not remember ever appearing before.

Clearly, he is now experiencing this surprise.

But he wasn't happy at all.

"This looks like that restricted corridor on the fourth floor?! How did we get here?"

Ron looked around at his surroundings and exclaimed in surprise.
