Hogwarts: I'm Harry's older cousin

Chapter 45: The 45 Most Brutally Ruthless Deslie

Chapter 45. The Great Murderer, Desili

Clang, clang, clang.

Marcus and his group slowly walked out, just in time to see Dali pressing down on Malfoy's head, causing Malfoy to faint.

There is only one way out of Slytherin, and to notify Snape, one must go through the common room.

However, the scene before them shocked everyone. The senior students in the conference room clearly hadn't expected the scene outside to be so horrific. The lounge was littered with young wizards, none of them able to stand.

They all thought Dudley had subdued Malfoy among a group of young wizards, but they didn't realize that he had subdued all the young wizards except for Malfoy.

What kind of spell caused this situation?

A powerful stun spell?

Or is it some kind of special curse?

And why are they all covering their butts? Is this the effect of a curse?

The older Slytherins secretly raised Dudley's danger rating by several levels.

This Dursley is no ordinary wizard. Potter is even more extraordinary. That Harry Potter is definitely not an ordinary little wizard. The claim that Harry Potter grew up in a Muggle family all these years is indeed unreliable.

If my cousin is this good, how much worse can Porter be?

Countless thoughts flooded his mind, and the senior students' eyes flickered, their gazes towards Dali carrying a hint of complexity.

The seventh-grade prefect, however, had much more to think about.

Why did the two brothers end up in Gryffindor and Slytherin respectively?

There must be a deeper meaning behind this.

Could it be that Potter, no, Mr. Potter, intends to conquer Gryffindor first and then subdue Slytherin?

Once this terrible thought arises, it can never be shaken off.

They even unconsciously started using honorifics when referring to Harry.

Among everyone present, Marcus was probably the only one who didn't think about anything; his brain couldn't handle that much information.

Oh, no, he was thinking of Malfoy.

"Stop! Let go of Malfoy!"

Marcus drew his wand, aimed it at Dudley, and immediately cast a spell: "Stun!"

Dark green light burst forth from the tip of the wand, and Dudley grabbed Draco without hesitation to block the spell.

His attention had been on these senior students ever since they arrived.

Poor Malfoy, who had only fainted from fright, was now also struck by a Stunning Curse.

That's it, I'm definitely not going to wake up today.

"Damn it!" Marcus cursed, unleashing another spell: "Petrify them all!"

Dudley grabbed Malfoy by the back with one hand and lifted him up, acting as a human shield to protect him from the curse once again.

Marcus was still not giving up and released several more spells, including several malevolent ones, all of which Dudley blocked with Malfoy.

For a fleeting moment, Dudley suspected that the other party wasn't there to rescue Malfoy, but rather had a grudge against him.

One of them, Dali, vaguely heard something about something like "old man tying a knot."

Poor Malfoy. He knew nothing and said nothing, yet he was hit by no less than ten curses in one go.

He got off too easy.

As he used his Malfoy shield to block the spell, Dudley grabbed Goyle again and lifted him up, looking warily at the newly appeared upperclassmen: "Enemy?"

Letting him fight the lower grades shouldn't be a big problem, but if he faces the upper grades who have already learned a lot of spells, Dudley honestly doesn't know the outcome.

Unless you can kill with a single blow, you can't hold back at all.

The reason he didn't attack rashly was that, apart from Marcus, everyone else was just standing there watching.

"Is this magic?"

Using Malfoy as a shield was one thing, but the brutal act of using "Gol" as a weapon stunned the upperclassmen. They pondered for a long time without reaching a conclusion. After hearing Dudley's words, they silently distanced themselves from Marcus, making their stance clear.

They are not with Marcus.

"Understood." Dali nodded in agreement.

This tacit understanding is like that of old friends who have known each other for many years, where everything is understood without words.

Only Marcus, the person involved, is unaware of this.

"Put down your weapons, no, put down Malfoy and Goyle."

Marcus pointed his wand at Dudley again, and for a moment he didn't know what to do. It was the first time he had ever seen someone use such a thing as a weapon.

He didn't know what to do, but that didn't mean Dudley would wait for him. Especially since he didn't like people pointing wands at him, he casually threw Malfoy to the ground, picked up Goyle, and walked to the other side, lifting Crabbe up as well.

These two weapons are quite handy; they don't feel so panicked when they have them.

Malfoy was lying on his side under the petrification curse, making him unsuitable as a weapon. Most importantly, he had a peculiar smell, and it was unclear when it started.

However, it was Dudley's simple act of lifting Crabbe as well that terrified Marcus.

So, as a conditioned reflex, the second spell was cast.

"Disarm you!"

Aside from your weapon, young wizards learn this spell in their second or third year. Its effect is that if you hit someone, their wand will bounce from their hand to yours and become subservient to you.

For wizards, it is a very practical magic. Not everyone can cast spells without a wand. Losing a wand is like losing all your reliance.

But now there's a problem: Dudley doesn't have a wand; he only has Goyle and Crabbe.

So here's the question: do Gore and Crabbe fall into the category of weapons?

Dudley, who had devoted considerable effort to studying spells, specifically researched this particular spell. Its effect depends on your perception: if you believe the wand is a weapon, it will work on the wand; if you believe the bow and arrow is a weapon, it will work on the bow and arrow; if you believe the pistol is a weapon, it will work on the pistol.

However, this spell has a limitation: it cannot be applied to living beings.

Otherwise, if the enemy fights with their fists, could you remove their hand by using a weapon that removes their head? What if their head is the weapon? Remove their skull? And after hitting them, their skull bounces into your hand? Wouldn't that be even more bloody and brutal than Avada Kedavra?

Do Hogwarts professors in their second and third years teach students to "remove your head"?

The thought of a group of young wizards carrying the enemy's head is terrifying.

So Dudley didn't even try to dodge, letting Marcus's spell hit him without anything happening.

As expected, your weapon failed.

Actually, besides your weapon, it has another side effect: it can knock the target away.

However, by the time the senior students arrived, Dudley had already completed six rounds of 'meditation' enhancement, raising his special defense to its limit. Combined with years of training that kept him in a state of 'unity of waist and stance' at all times, his lower body was incredibly stable, and Marcus's spell only made him sway slightly.

Yes, he did it on purpose to scare Marcus.

Everything was within Darwin's calculations.

"He started it."

"I've already given in to him three times."

Dudley grinned, but he wasn't talking to Marcus; he was talking to the other Slytherin seniors.

Then, taking advantage of Marcus's momentary daze, he smashed him down with a flying Crabbe hammer.

Poor Marcus was knocked unconscious without even uttering a sound.

This scene was not so simple in the eyes of the upperclassmen. The Potter cousin had a way to defend against the "Expelliarmus" and could also turn others into his own weapons, as well as that kind of attack method.

That's really true.

That's so brutal!

"Porter hid it too well."

The prefect slowly closed his eyes, trying to clear his mind and stop thinking about these issues.

Knowing too much isn't always a good thing.

As for Dudley, he accomplished all of this purely through force; they never even considered that a normal wizard could do such a thing.

He strolled leisurely over to the unconscious Marcus, hoisted Crabbe up again, and asked the others with a seemingly casual yet highly vigilant expression, "What's up?"

This scene, combined with Dali's own aura, deeply impressed the group of graduating seniors.

Not a single person spoke.

"If there's nothing else, I'll be going."

"Please wait a moment."

Seeing that none of his companions were reliable, the prefect had no choice but to speak up himself.

Upon hearing this, Dali stopped, turned around, and quietly looked at the other person.

The prefect also looked up at Dudley.

However, the moment he met Dali's gaze, he looked away.

What a majestic gaze that was, as if he were facing not a human being, but a ferocious beast.

Even though he is now in seventh grade and has met many wizards of all ages with his family, including some dark wizards, he has never encountered a wizard with this kind of gaze before.

"Thank goodness I didn't let that good-for-nothing Marcus come out alone."

The prefect secretly rejoiced at his decision.

"This kind of wizard must never be befriended."

The prefect bowed slightly, performing a gesture that Dudley couldn't understand, and then spoke.

"I sincerely apologize for Marcus Flint's rudeness; he acted too impulsively."

Actually, he didn't need to apologize. This matter had nothing to do with him, and it could have been resolved with just a few words. But that idiot Marcus was his man, and that idiot attacked the other party first, three times at that.

If you don't make your stance clear, things could get even worse.

Dali was surprised that the other party apologized to him as soon as he spoke, but he did not let his guard down at all.

Is it a case of trying to win over the enemy first, then resorting to force?

Not only Dudley hadn't expected it, but the other Slytherin seniors hadn't either.

However, the prefect had his reasons for saying that, after all, this person was the backbone of their small group.

"Let's put the apology aside for now. Do you have anything else to discuss?"

Dudley's voice was surprisingly calm.

The class monitor breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Although I didn't accept the apology, it's good that we were able to communicate.

"Please believe me, Marcus's actions are entirely personal and have nothing to do with the Flint family."

Flint and his family have a close relationship, they are allies, otherwise he wouldn't have gone to such great lengths to develop Marcus.

What he wanted to say was to separate the Flint family from Marcus, since the Flint family has more than just Marcus as a child, and there will be another newborn next year.

"Flint? You mean the Flint family, the one that produced a Minister of Magic a hundred years ago, and is still in that family?"

Dudley's heart stirred slightly, and he began to recount the stories of the Flint family that he knew well.

To ensure a peaceful life in the wizarding world, Dudley would choose to remember things that were useful to him.

Besides spells, potions, herbs, and the history of magic, he was also very knowledgeable about the deeds of famous wizarding figures and prominent families.

It can be said that he made ample preparations in order to integrate into the wizarding world as soon as possible.

The upperclassmen were shocked when they heard Dudley's words. None of them, as pure-blood wizards, knew what he was saying, but the prefect seemed to think it was perfectly reasonable.

Sure enough, Mr. Potter was playing a very big game; otherwise, how could a Muggle wizard know so much?

There are precocious geniuses in the wizarding world, so never judge a wizard's ability by their age.

Actually, all the things Dudley mentioned are in the history books of magic; it's just that these guys are ignorant and incompetent.

That's not actually true. Most wizards, especially young wizards, don't like the dry history of magic. And no one would expect that on the first day of school, a newly enrolled young wizard would have memorized the history of magic over the past few hundred years. Are they just bored?

The conversation that followed went very smoothly. The prefect was very warm towards Dudley, never mentioning the incident of Dudley hitting someone, and said he would handle the rest as an apology. He even offered to buy back the wands of the young wizards that Dudley possessed at a high price as compensation.

His manners and attitude were impeccable, even bordering on humble, showing Dalli considerable respect in every way.

The ability to assess the situation and act accordingly is a hallmark of a mature Slytherin.

Those in the lower grades still have time to learn.

"Mr. Dursley, I have a favor to ask."

The prefect considered his tone carefully before speaking again: "If possible, I hope that you can overlook Draco's actions this time, for my sake. His father was a very caring elder to me."

Did Lucius take good care of him? Of course not.

Their family's relationship with the Malfoy family was so-so, it could even be described as not very harmonious, but he couldn't just sit idly by.

You can do dirty tricks behind people's backs, but in public you should at least protect and take care of the other party's younger generation, even if it's just for show.

After all, every family has a few younger generations.

This is how relationships are exchanged between pure-blood families.

Of course, there are exceptions, such as complete falling out.

"Lord Carlo, if anyone else had said this to me, I would have told them to 'get lost.' But since it's you, I'm more than happy to give you that courtesy."

As the saying goes, one shouldn't hit a smiling face. Since the other party had said so, Dali naturally had to give them face.

However, after saying this, Dali's face immediately darkened, which made Carlo's heart skip a beat.

"But only once, and the last time, if I get another chance, then..."

"nature."

Carlo nodded knowingly, indicating that he understood.

Face is something that needs to be given to each other.

Anyway, I've had my fill of spanking and made my money. Except for the culprit Malfoy, who hasn't been properly dealt with yet, I've done everything I needed to.

As for really letting Malfoy go?

Dudley understood Malfoy's personality and psychology. Even if he let him go this time, Malfoy would still provoke him again because he had embarrassed Malfoy.

After all, they're almost in their second year of middle school, and kids at this age have a mysterious obsession with saving face.

Who will protect him then?

Carlo definitely won't do it again. Protecting the other party once is already the limit; he won't care if they try to court death again.

If Malfoy really doesn't dare, then create an opportunity for him.

And you all think everyone else got spanked except Malfoy, so guess what you all think of him?

Why is it that Malfoy is unharmed?

Isolation is an inevitable outcome.

Dali would never admit that he was petty.

Having offended Abbot Dursley, does he still want to leave?

In fact, Dudley overestimated Malfoy. Dealing with him doesn't require any brainpower; he'll willingly walk right into the line of fire.

"Mr. Dursley, thank you so much for your understanding. It's such an unpleasant situation on the first day of school, which is my fault as the seventh-year prefect. I've prepared a small token of my appreciation for you, which will be delivered to your room tomorrow along with the compensation for the wand purchase. I'm sure you'll be satisfied."

The implication is that since you've given me so much face, I'll definitely make sure to compensate you properly.

Malfoy is a very important character to me, and I've specially arranged a special chapter for him. I plan to update until that point. Yeah, this will be the last big update before it goes on sale.

Incidentally, Dudley's favorite character is the old guy from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (in his younger days), even though he has physical abilities similar to Jotaro.
