Hogwarts: I'm Harry's older cousin

Chapter 435, Page 429: Tall Horse, From Now On You Will Be the New Leader of the Giants

Chapter 435, Page 429: Gao Gao Ma, from now on you will be the new leader of the giants.

Outside the terrifying ancient castle of Transylvania, a large procession of countless strangely shaped demi-humans marched in.

There are bloodthirsty werewolves, humanoid witches who like to eat children, and brutal giants.

Avery completed the mission Voldemort had given him and returned with the group of demi-humans.

Upon seeing Avery, the Death Eater on guard at the gate immediately notified the others in the castle, and soon Barty the Younger came out to warmly greet him on behalf of Voldemort.

"Avery, we've been waiting for you! Come in!"

"The masters are already seated inside; they're getting ready to have a proper celebration tonight."

Upon seeing Barty Jr., Avery's first question, besides asking Voldemort if he had any further instructions, was: "Lucius, is he back?"

He got back three days earlier than you.

Little Barty answered him casually.

Upon hearing this, Avery pressed further, "How many men did he bring?"

Little Barty paused for a moment, gave the other person a meaningful look, and then answered, "Probably less than three hundred."

"Is that all?" Avery's eyes lit up upon hearing this.

He brought back this group of demi-humans, including a full hundred giants, at least a thousand humanoid witches, and three hundred werewolves.

Wouldn't that mean I've outshone Lucius?

Although Avery is currently allied with Lucius, it doesn't mean he doesn't have his own ambitions. As the number of Death Eaters in Azkaban continues to decrease and the balance between the two sides begins to break, he is starting to have some restless thoughts.

No one wants to be a subordinate, especially since he had previously been a leader and a rival to Lucius.

To be honest, there are definitely more dark wizards left in Europe besides the Death Eaters than these. The problem is that not all dark wizards are powerful; many of them are of varying quality. If it were just about numbers, Lucius could easily field a team of over a thousand dark wizards.

But that doesn't really mean anything; it's just to make up the numbers.

Just like the humanoid witches in Avery's group, a giant can fight more than a hundred humanoid witches, and an adult wizard can easily fight a dozen or twenty at a time.

Aside from producing more feces, the quantity is not very significant.

Barty saw Avery's expression, but he didn't correct him. He led Avery and the group of demi-humans behind him into the castle.

The terrifying castle, the birthplace of vampires, is a magical castle with a very long history.

Although it can't compare to Hogwarts, it has its own unique features. It has also been enchanted with a lot of magic. The Unseen Stretching Charm is just a basic operation, so accommodating these demi-humans is not a problem.

Ordinary demi-humans cannot meet Voldemort, so he only brought the clan leader and a few attendants into the castle's hall.

Voldemort sat in the very center of the Great Hall, a large green serpent coiled around him. To his left sat the Azkaban faction of Death Eaters, led by Bellatrix, and to his right sat the pure-blood noble faction of Death Eaters, led by Lucius.

Dementors and banshees floated on the ceiling, dimming the surrounding temperature and brightness.

However, this color scheme is more in line with the villainous style of the Death Eaters.

"The male wizard next to Lucius is named Pipiru Blank, and the female wizard is named Lucixi Macchiato. They are the two most outstanding dark wizards that Lucius invited this time. Their magic is very profound, and they are deeply loved by their master."

Barty gave Avery a brief introduction, then naturally returned to Bella's spot. Avery, after thinking for a while, also returned to Lucius's side.

Looking down at the giant, at least 7 meters tall, the werewolf exuding a beastly aura, and the ugly, domineering humanoid witch, Voldemort rarely showed a look of satisfaction.

His power has grown even stronger.

No one wants their power to grow stronger.

These demi-humans were seated below the Death Eaters.

According to Voldemort's usual style, demi-humans are not qualified to sit with them unless they can fly like Dementors and Banshees.

The overall style of the banquet was predominantly cool-toned, given the sheer number of dark creatures present; warm colors simply didn't suit them. Moreover, Voldemort himself disliked light and warmth. The banquet ended quickly, as the diets of the other demi-human races, aside from dark wizards and werewolves, differed significantly from those of normal humans (banshees feed on fear, and dementors on pleasure), and they didn't particularly enjoy the cooked food that humans ate.

The dark wizards gathered together and began to discuss the crucial issue.

When will he return to England? When will he make his official appearance? When will he rule the magical world?

"Wait a year, and next year I will take you back to reclaim what rightfully belongs to us."

Voldemort was waiting for Dumbledore to die; once Dumbledore was dead, he would have no more scruples.

But as long as Dumbledore is alive, he will not easily set foot on the land of England.

The Death Eaters and dark wizards, of course, agreed, and they obeyed Voldemort's every command.

However, problems arose among the subhuman race over there.

"Wait? Kakus, no, I like waiting."

The first to raise objections were the giants.

The giant leader, Kakus, looked furious, roaring and clumsily expressing his opinion: "Giant, Kakus, eat! Come on, promise to eat meat, to eat human flesh! Now, you wait?"

His pronunciation was quite loud, but the general meaning was understandable.

The giants came for the freedom to eat meat, and Avery promised them they could eat human flesh as they pleased, so they were very reluctant to wait another year.

As for Voldemort, needless to say, even if Kakus didn't say anything, he knew what the other was thinking.

"The giant chieftain disagrees."

Voldemort stared coldly at the enormous figure, then extended a finger.

A dark green light illuminated the room, and Kakus's mountain-like body crashed to the ground.

"Then let's choose another one."

The cold voice made the humanoid witches watching the show tremble.

Then he casually pointed to one of the two followers brought by the giant leader.

"What's your name?"

The follower seemed slow to react, having been targeted by Voldemort and not responding immediately.

Then another green light flashed, and another giant crashed to the ground. Voldemort then asked the same question to the last giant.

"What's your name?"

"Gao Gao Ma," the giant replied in a deep, muffled voice.

It wasn't that the giant was clever; he hadn't yet recovered from the shock of why his leader and companions had suddenly collapsed. He was just giving an honest answer reflexively when asked.

Voldemort didn't care about that; as long as he answered his question, that was enough.

He nodded in satisfaction: "Very good, Gao Gao Ma."

"From now on, you will be the new leader of the giants."
