Hogwarts: I'm Harry's older cousin

Chapter 4. The 4 Thinnest Books in the World

Chapter 4. The Four Thinnest Books in the World (Seeking votes!)

Several days have passed since Dudley drew the blue seaweed-headed magician's constitution. After the initial frustration, he quickly adjusted his state.

Life goes on as usual. Instead of complaining, it's better to find ways to improve yourself.

So Dali threw himself into physical training to practice Ripple Qigong.

St. George Elementary School.

"Dali, I heard you went to Oxford Dragon Primary School last time. How was your experience as an exchange student?"

Several burly boys in rugby team uniforms put their arms around Dali's neck and asked him with friendly expressions.

Not all students were afraid of Dudley; he wasn't some kind of fighting maniac who caused trouble everywhere for no reason.

As he himself said, he hates trouble.

As long as his principles are not violated, Dali is usually quite "refined and easy-going".

Of course, these boys in olive green uniforms were not students of St. George Elementary School, but rather graduating students from the boxing team of the neighboring Smetine High School.

"It's boring, it's full of nerds." Dudley said, taking a hot dog and chewing it.

Hearing the system message "Eat a whole hot dog, experience +1" ring in his mind, he felt extremely pleased.

Aside from the occasional quests, the mage training system relies on consuming food to replenish energy, and Dali can activate some common life skills through experience points.

Of course, none of those skills have anything to do with magic; according to the system's explanation, they are all everyday life skills.

For example: English, math, physics, chemistry, firearms, boxing, archery, etc.

This thing called the Mage Training System is unusually stingy when it comes to anything related to magic, but it's quite generous about other things.

Anyway, just eat it.

This is why Dudley is called the "food protector".

To touch his food is to be his enemy.

"I've heard that the students at that school are all very academically gifted. Has Mr. Dudley been discouraged?"

"Good at studying? Just slightly above average. Besides being good at rote learning, there's nothing special about it."

Dali waved his hand, picked up another glass of "happy water," and drank it all in one gulp.

Drinking a full glass of soda grants +1 experience point.

Dali finds it funny to think about his experience as an exchange student at Oxford Dragon Primary School.

He really taught those bookworms a lesson, both in academics and sports.

Dali always finds it funny to think of those little girls and rascals running back home crying with snot bubbles on their faces.

Oxford Dragon Primary School, located in Oxfordshire, England, is a co-educational private primary school that claims to be a preparatory school for Oxford University.

As everyone knows, preparatory university is... well, let's just say it's a joke.

In fact, given Dudley's grades and abilities, he shouldn't have been at St. George's Elementary School. The main reason the Dursleys sent Dudley and Harry there was that it was a public school, which meant cheaper tuition.

It's important to understand that the Dursleys had to cover not only Dudley's school fees but also Harry's.

Just look at the clothes Dudley and Harry are wearing.

Harry was wearing Dudley's old school uniform, while Dudley, though wearing new clothes, was made of rather ordinary material.

In addition, Dali has a big appetite, making their lives even more difficult.

In reality, the Dursleys weren't as wealthy as they appeared in the movies. They lived a rather frugal life when Harry was in primary school, until two months ago.

Dudley's situation improved after his father, Vernon Dursley, got a job at Groening Company through his sister Maggie Dursley's introduction and successfully negotiated a large drilling rig order.

They are currently discussing transferring Dali to another school; otherwise, Dali wouldn't have become an exchange student.

However, Dudley didn't want to go to other schools, mainly because Harry wasn't there, and Dudley wouldn't be able to "fleece" him anymore.

Given the fees charged by private schools, the Dursleys certainly couldn't afford to have Dudley and Harry attend school together.

Even if they could afford it, they wouldn't let Harry go.

His mother, Petunia Dursley, and his father, Vernon Dursley, were not particularly fond of Harry.

The reason is a long story.

As he swallowed the last piece of food, Dudley happened to see Harry coming out of the school building with his backpack. He turned to his friends from the Smetine High School boxing team and said, "It's been a while since I've stretched my arms and legs. Want to practice?"

"."

After an eerie silence, the group exchanged glances and began to ramble on, trying to find various excuses.

"I have other things to do today."

"My mom told me to go home early."

"I forgot to close my door."

In the end, only Dali remained.

It is precisely because they have a good relationship with Dudley that they can better appreciate how terrifying Dudley is; to spar with him would be nothing short of asking for trouble.

Dali pursed his lips: "Tsk, how boring."

He walked briskly toward his beloved little cousin Harry, put his arm around the boy's neck, and said affectionately, "Let's go home together."

The students of St. George Elementary School breathed a sigh of relief as they watched the two walk away until they disappeared at the end of the street.

"Oh my god. Poor little Harry is going to be bullied by his wicked cousin again."

"So, you're going to save him?"

"Don't be ridiculous, are you sending me to my death?"

That's how rumors are formed; Dudley and Harry clearly had a good relationship.

Yes, at least that's what Dali thinks.

The two lived at 4 Privet Road, Little Huigkin, Surrey, not far from the school, about a 20-minute walk away.

Seeing that Harry was only focused on walking, Dudley broke the silence by taking out a few crumpled banknotes from his pocket: "Harry, this is the 8 pounds and 50 pence left over from getting your glasses repaired. I don't think it's safe for you to keep it, so I'll save it for you to use when you get married."

"Okay, Brother D."

Harry had heard the same words countless times; his ears were practically calloused from hearing them.

Hearing this, Dali put the few banknotes back into his pocket with satisfaction.

At this moment, he transforms into Grandet Dali.

It wasn't that he was really stingy; Harry kept a clear record of every single expense he had with him. The main problem was that Dudley needed to constantly consume food to ensure the system's energy collection.

Fortunately, most of the food Dudley ate was converted into muscle; otherwise, with his eating habits, he would have inevitably become Dudley Round.

Pushing open the door of the two-story villa, Dali, with his super-sensitive sense of smell, smelled the aroma of dinner and immediately felt a surge of appetite.

Indeed, the four thinnest books in the world are: the history of America, German jokes, Italian war heroes, and English cookbooks.

There really aren't many good dishes in England. Apart from fish and chips, which every housewife knows how to make, there aren't many other decent dishes.

But no one says that English people have to cook English food. Penny Dursley is good at German cuisine, and her crispy pork knuckle is quite delicious.
