Hogwarts: I'm Harry's older cousin

Chapter 365 359 Harry's One Drop of Blood

Chapter 365, 359. Harry's First Blood (Seeking monthly votes!)

As night fell and Hogwarts was fast asleep, a loud noise suddenly rang out from the Headmaster's office, startling Fawkes so much that he flew out of his nest and hovered on the ceiling.

"Ring ring ring, answer the phone!"

Then a hemispherical object slowly crawled onto the principal's desk. It was a golden Den Den Mushi (snail phone), with bloodshot eyes, and it was shouting as it climbed.

It clearly doesn't like being woken up in the middle of the night.

Fox looked furious, glaring at the incessantly chattering golden Den Den Mushi. It would have swallowed any other insect whole, but the clever Fox knew that this Den Den Mushi was not its food.

Until Dumbledore removed the receiver from it.

Dumbledore stood by the window not far away, not asleep, gazing at the sky, lost in thought.

I couldn't sleep at night.

"It was me who fed Albus."

Grindelwald's magnetic voice came through the Den Den Mushi. If it were any other Dumbledore, he would have hung up the phone without hesitation.

This time, however, he did not choose to hang up.

Instead, he put the receiver to his ear.

"I am Albus."

Tonight, two centenarians who hadn't had a proper chat in half a century spent the entire night on the phone, unable to sleep.

------

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Potter, we didn't mean to, really."

In the corridors of Hogwarts, two chubby boys, each a head shorter than Harry, were apologizing profusely. Both of them had anxious and fearful expressions on their faces, and one of them looked like he was about to cry.

These two chubby little boys are Malfoy's usual sidekicks, Crabbe and Goyle.

"It's nothing, it's nothing." Harry waved his hands repeatedly, patted the dust off his bottom, and stood up. He didn't seem to be hurt, except that he had a small cut on his forehead with a little blood on it.

"Let us wipe it for you." One of the chubby boys hurriedly pulled out a handkerchief and tried to wipe the wound on Harry's forehead, but Harry stopped him after only a few strokes.

This wasn't wiping away his blood; it was practically rubbing his forehead with a handkerchief, using his head as a washboard.

That's incredibly rude.

The whole thing was pretty dramatic. A few minutes earlier, Harry was walking and thinking. Because he was in Hogwarts Castle, his vigilance was at its lowest, and he wasn't paying much attention to his surroundings. Who knew that as soon as he entered the blind spot around the corner, two chubby little guys suddenly appeared and rammed into him. He didn't have time to avoid them and collided with them.

If it were anyone else, it wouldn't matter; with Harry's physical abilities, even if he deliberately rammed into them, the other person would only be thrown back. But it just so happens to be these two heavyweights.

Well, although Harry has more muscle than both of them combined and is very muscular, he is actually no match for either of them in terms of weight.

What stood in front of him were simply two solid balls of flesh.

A solid bowling ball.

Dudley had mentioned to Draco more than once that he should send those two burly guys to participate in sumo wrestling, and they could probably bring back a few championships.

"Alright, alright."

Harry waved to indicate that he was alright, while rubbing the reddened skin around his wound. The area that was fine before was probably rubbed raw. Were the handkerchiefs these two guys were using made of gauze?

"Hey, Harry," Draco's voice rang out. He came down the stairs and greeted Harry, then noticed his two henchmen: "Crawb? Goyle? What are you doing here? Perfect timing, I have something to say to you."

"You two have been acting strangely lately. I don't even acknowledge you when I greet you, it's like you're deliberately avoiding me. Can you tell me what's going on?"

Draco

Goyle seemed to want to say something to Draco, but Crabbe quickly tugged at his sleeve and winked at his companion with his enormous, fat face, stopping him from saying anything more.

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Potter, I'm really so sorry."

The two balls first bowed laboriously to Harry, making him a little worried that they would actually turn into two bowling balls and roll around. Then, looking very awkward, he said to Draco, "Draco, I'm sorry, we really have something to do. Let's talk next time, next time."

Without giving Draco a chance to speak, they hurriedly left, as if afraid that Draco would follow them in the same way.

Throughout the entire process, the two kept their heads down and didn't even glance at them.

Such an obvious attitude would be abnormal even to a pig.

As the two figures disappeared around the corner, Harry and Draco exchanged a glance.

"Harry, they took your blood."

Draco remarked that their clumsy movements were no surprise to Harry and Draco.

"I know."

Harry nodded.

Before the start of the semester, Dali told him that someone would try to get a drop of his blood, so it wasn't surprising that this happened. He just didn't expect it would be these two people.

He took out an alcohol-soaked tissue from his pocket and vigorously wiped his forehead. Not only was the bloodstain on his forehead wiped away, but even the original wound disappeared.

Apart from the lightning-shaped scar, there were no other wounds visible on his forehead.

fake?

No, the blood that was taken was indeed Harry's, but the drop of blood that was taken contained more than just Harry's blood; it also contained other things.

"The problem lies with Crabbe and Goyle's parents. Pansy told me that their parents recently went to Wells (the Parkinson family are not Death Eaters, but neutral), and they've been acting strangely ever since they came back."

Watching the direction the two had left in, Draco sighed and said, "It's obvious they were threatened."

"While the Goyle and Crabbe families aren't exactly prestigious clans, they are still long-established pure-blood wizarding families. The fact that they are my followers is partly due to the fact that the Goyle and Crabbe families have a long-standing friendship with the Malfoy family. Of course, there's also the fact that both families genuinely need the Malfoys' help."

"The only people who could threaten them, and wouldn't even dare to ask for help, are those people, or him."

"I really don't know what to say about that person actually choosing to ask those two idiots for a favor."

Although the words were sarcastic, the tone was filled with deep concern. Nominally, he was a follower, but after all, he was a companion who had grown up with him since childhood. How could he not have any feelings for him?
