Hogwarts: I'm Harry's older cousin

Chapter 323-321 There's a new teacher again.

Chapter 323, Section 321: A New Teacher Arrives

Dumbledore's earnest voice was filled with deep concern.

"I won't face him alone."

Dudley solemnly agreed. On the one hand, he couldn't figure out how strong the black magic was, and on the other hand, he couldn't refuse the concern of an elder who had taken care of him for four years.

The Discipline Group was established under pressure by Dumbledore, and the professors who regularly tutored the Discipline Group were also found by Dumbledore. He also allowed Dudley to join the Wizengamots, among other things. He gave Dudley his full trust.

"If Harry is included, it shouldn't count as a one-on-one fight."

Hearing Dudley's promise, Dumbledore breathed a sigh of relief. He was genuinely afraid that Dudley's successes would cloud his judgment and lead him to challenge Voldemort to a duel.

Even when Voldemort was at his peak over a decade ago, there were still people like him, especially the Gryffindors; of course, they all died in the end.

He knew how powerful Voldemort was, so powerful that he had to use the Elder Wand to barely suppress him. He was old, over 110 years old, and didn't know how much longer he could suppress him, while Voldemort could go even further.

"More talented than me? More outstanding than our discipline team?"

I've agreed, but we'll still have to argue where necessary.

Dumbledore blinked and replied, "He wasn't as good as you at your age; you're better than him."

That's true, but Voldemort also started researching Horcruxes in his sixth year, and in a sense, he was quite powerful.

"What a pity, Professor Dumbledore. We're almost out of teachers to instruct us. Professor Karkaroff's knowledge will soon be exhausted by us."

Dudley said quietly, and Dumbledore knew he was asking for a new teacher.

However, there were very few people in the entire Hogwarts who could teach them, or rather, there were very few people in the entire wizarding world who could teach them. Even Snape admitted that Dudley's skill in Potions had now surpassed his own and was approaching Lily's level.

Hmm. Dumbledore selectively ignored the last sentence.

The only one who could teach him was Dumbledore. He paused, as if making a decision, and said, "After this term ends, you and Harry will come with me to a place."

"I know a place where there is a very suitable teacher, but... don't listen to anything he says except knowledge, and remember... anything he says."

While Dumbledore was chatting with Dudley, the old man and the young man, the day's events were basically settled.

As the head of the Auror office and the person in charge of this operation, Rufus Scrimgeour was both happy and worried. He was happy because it was a great success, with the Aurors capturing the group of Death Eaters with almost no injuries. He was worried because most of those captured were officials from the Ministry of Magic, which would make the subsequent handling more troublesome.

Releasing it directly is impossible, but if we don't release it, the collective pressure from the other side on the Ministry of Magic would also be a troublesome matter.

It's even more impossible that he's being imprisoned in Azkaban; Wisengama hasn't even been tried yet.

"Mr. Scrinker."

"If you feel you can't handle this, you can leave it to me."

Dudley was willing to take on this big problem, but he had doubts about Dudley's ability to handle it well.

Seemingly sensing Scrimgeour's skepticism, Dudley continued, "In the name of the Wizengamots, believe me, I'll handle this much more easily than you."

It was only then that Scrimgeour remembered that Dali also had a member of the Wizengamo.

"May I ask Mr. Dursley how you would like to handle this?"

Dudley glanced at Scrimgeour, the "old lion," and held up his little finger.

"Mr. Scrimgeour, the resources in the wizarding world are very limited. Everyone is scrambling to become one of the few, and there are countless wizarding families who want to advance but have no way to do so."

"You're saying that some people in this small group were kicked out for breaking the rules. What will the others think?"

Dali did not continue speaking.

They can only blame themselves for following the wrong leader. Other villains cherish their reputation and prefer to remain behind the scenes, but Old Fu is different. He leads the way in stirring up trouble, making himself and his men look like a bunch of terrorists.

The name Death Eaters is utterly reviled in the wizarding world; no wizard wants to be associated with them.

"The Carlo family would be happy to help."

Upon hearing this, Scrimgeour's eyes lit up, and he looked at Dudley in surprise, not expecting that he could have influence in the Carlo family.

The Caro family is currently at its zenith; their name alone is a golden brand, and even Fudge has to give them a wide berth.

Dudley's actions weren't intended to solve the Ministry of Magic's problems. These pure-blood wizards were captured as Death Eaters, essentially handing them a handle to be used against them. Just because Scrimgeour didn't dare imprison them in Azkaban didn't mean Dudley wouldn't. Recently, Wizengamo has replaced quite a few of its members.

Want to be acquitted?

Yes, as long as you offer enough benefits in exchange.

It's time to replace those purebloods who control the upper echelons of the wizarding world.

There are still quite a few of my seniors who haven't been assigned jobs after graduation.

Watching Dudley and Scrimgeour talk animatedly about how to deal with the Death Eaters, Moody couldn't help but utter a thought.

"Dumbledore, to be honest, this Dursley boy is much more mature than I expected."

"He's very good at dealing with those kinds of people; he's a true Slytherin."

The prejudice against Slytherin among wizards who came from Hogwarts was almost deeply ingrained, and even Moody was no exception.

And to be fair, the number of Death Eaters in Slytherin is indeed much higher than in the other three houses.

Dumbledore stood aside, watching with a smile. He was unwilling to wield power for his own reasons; otherwise, he would be the rightful Minister of Magic. This did not mean he was unaware of the benefits of power, so he would not stop Dudley.

To be fair, if Dumbledore were Minister of Magic, Voldemort wouldn't be as relaxed as he is now, and there wouldn't be so many pure-bloods becoming Death Eaters. In his youth, he had a whole host of tricks up his sleeve.

Scrimgeour eventually agreed to Dudley's suggestion.

He's fine with devising capture plans, but dealing with problems isn't really his forte. These Death Eaters from the Ministry of Magic are a hot potato for him.

The Aurors are responsible for escorting the Death Eaters back to the Ministry of Magic, after which the Caro family will take over.

"Professor Dumbledore, it's getting late. I think we should head back."

Dudley said to Dumbledore, "The Triwizard Tournament isn't over yet."

Indeed, it's not over yet; the audience is craning their necks, waiting for the final result.

Who will emerge victorious?
