"He... I... uh... um."

Sirius Black couldn't answer what Dudley would do, and perhaps no one but Dudley himself could.

But since it was Harry's question, Sirius had to answer it, so after thinking for a while, he gave his answer.

"I'll probably use some kind of transformation, maybe I'll turn into a shark. Hmm, Animagus, like the magic that lets me turn into a big dog."

Unexpectedly, Harry looked at Sirius with a speechless expression after hearing his answer.

"Mr. Black, I think the match should take place at the Black Lake in Hogwarts, which is the only place with a water source nearby."

"Of course I know Black Lake. I even had a swimming race with James in it before, and I came in first place."

Sirius Black talked at length about his experiences as a student, but he didn't grasp the main point, nor did he notice that Harry's face was getting darker and darker.

"Although Black Lake is large, it is still a lake, and sharks are marine creatures, so it is very difficult for them to move around in Black Lake."

"If a shark were to enter the Black Lake, death would be its only fate."

"Does the Animagus transformation not follow the laws of nature? Or can Mr. Black's dog form fly?"

Sometimes Harry felt it was difficult to communicate with the other person; it was simply a lack of common sense.

Sirius remained silent in the face of Harry's mention of both the sea and the lake, because he couldn't understand it.

In his mind, the only difference between the sea and a lake is that one is tasteless and the other is a little salty, right? Aren't they both water? Why can sharks live in the sea but not in lakes? Aren't they all fish?

If someone else had said those words, Sirius Black vowed to fight them to the bitter end, but if it was Harry...

If you don't know, then you don't know.

"Never mind, it's pointless to ask you. I have class later, I'm leaving now."

Harry sighed, put away the completed parchment, and left the Gryffindor common room with his belongings.

Watching Harry walk away, Sirius vowed to find out the answers to these questions.

That evening, Lupin received a letter from Sirius Black.

"Dear Lupin, do you know the difference between the sea and a lake?"

Lupin: "?"

The next day, he received another letter.

Why can't sharks live in lakes?

Lupin: "??"

On the third day, he received another letter.

"Can the Animagus shark survive in the lake after its transformation?"

Lupin: "???"

What is all this nonsense? Has Sirius Black gone mad?

Leaving Sirius aside, Harry was still thinking about what Dudley would do if he were to fall asleep. Would he send a submarine over?

His impression of Dudley was that he was pragmatic.

Submarines are not impossible. However, transporting such things would be too much of a hassle.

Could it be that they're getting a diving suit?

This idea could actually be realized; diving equipment is much easier to obtain than submarines.

While Harry was struggling to sleep because he was speculating about Dudley's actions, there was another person who was also having trouble sleeping—Mr. Bagman, who was responsible for the Triwizard Tournament.

The second challenge involves four warriors reclaiming their most cherished "person" from the evil mermaids. While the mermaids strongly dislike the word "evil," that's not the point. The point is their most cherished person. Harry, Fleur, and Viktor are relatively easy to handle; the real challenge is Dudley's side.

He has already taken down several Ministry of Magic staff members who were planning to secretly harm Miss Granger.

Tomorrow is the official start of the competition, and they have yet to achieve anything.

Bagman was not at all surprised that Dali knew the details of the second match.

Mr. Dursley

Bagman approached Daddy with a troubled expression during dinner.

"What is it, Mr. Bagman?"

Dudley responded with a smile and swallowed a slice of lamb chop in one gulp.

"Could you..."

"cannot."

The very decisive answer was what gave Bagman a headache; he was completely unmoved.

"I don't want her to get hurt in any way, and I won't let her get hurt in any way."

Dudley wiped the sauce-stained corners of his mouth lightly with a napkin, then launched an attack on a lamb chop, his conversation with Bagman not affecting his eating speed at all.

"But."

"No buts."

Not only was Dudley holding a hold on him, but having experienced Dudley's methods firsthand, he knew that the person in front of him was the one he absolutely couldn't afford to mess with in the entire Hogwarts.

He's much more difficult to deal with than that Headmaster Dumbledore.

"Dali, Mr. Bagman, what are you talking about? I think I heard something about 'her' or something hurt?"

Just as Bagman was racking his brains, Hermione suddenly asked at just the right moment.

Bagman's eyes lit up. He immediately had an idea.

"Miss Granger, the second challenge is to save those you cherish, and that is you."

As Bagman finished speaking, he glanced at Dudley, his suggestive gesture all too obvious, and Hermione's face immediately flushed again.

"so what?"

"We need your cooperation, just come tomorrow."

"impossible."

A resolute voice rang out, its tone leaving no room for doubt.

Dudley stopped eating and turned to look at Bagman.

"Dear Director of the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the Ministry of Magic, did you not understand me? I don't want to repeat myself, understand?"

When Dudley called out the title "Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Magic," Bagman felt an almost suffocating pressure, and goosebumps rose all over his body.

"Dali, I think I..."

Hermione felt sorry for Bagman and her heart softened, so she wanted to speak up for him.

"I will never allow you to be hurt in front of me."

One sentence was enough to make Hermione blush and flee in embarrassment.

Dudley didn't chase after her. He sat down and continued eating. He had already said all that. If anyone dared to provoke him, Dudley would really have a good talk with them and communicate with them in a friendly manner.

After Dudley finished his dinner, he glanced at Bagman, who was still sitting next to him, looking as wilted as a frostbitten eggplant.

"She definitely can't think about it anymore, but there are alternatives."

"What?"

Upon hearing that things seemed to be taking a turn for the better, Bagman immediately perked up.

"You could try choosing something Hermione values."

"?"

Dali uttered a sentence softly.

Bagman stood still.

"Is this okay?"

Dali shrugged and said in a nonchalant tone, "I've already come up with an idea for you. Whether you use it or not is up to you."
