Hogwarts: I'm Harry's older cousin

Chapter 19. Hagrid Loses the Korean Market

Chapter 19. Hagrid Loses the Korean Market

Whether the letter was actually written by Dudley is impossible to verify unless one asks the sender, but given Dudley's current situation, that's certainly not possible.

"Get out of here!"

After completely destroying the letters, Vernon tried to remain calm, but it was clear from the large clumps of his beard that he was far from at peace.

"We need to leave here within five minutes. Go pack some clothes. There's no room for discussion!"

His expression was more serious and earnest than ever before; this was the first time Vernon Dalley had ever seen him like this.

"I won't let my family get involved in that damn nonsense!"

Soon, the group got into the Dursleys' new car. Vernon drove silently, while Penny kept her head down and prayed in a low voice. Dudley could hear her saying, "Get rid of them, get rid of them." The atmosphere inside the car became terribly heavy.

Dudley also started to have wild thoughts. The current situation was just like in the original story, where the whole family went out to "take refuge".

Dudley didn't quite understand this point. Why did the Dursleys insist on bringing Harry along? If they really disliked Harry so much, why didn't they leave him alone at home?

Both Vernon and Petunia should know that the letter was only for Harry Potter, not Dursley.

However, they still brought Harry Potter along.

The car drove for a whole day until we arrived at a hotel on the outskirts of a big city.

Compared to Muggles' slow driving, wizards are much more efficient with their teleportation, Floo Powder, and Portkeys.

A large pile of letters awaited the Dursleys at the hotel early in the morning.

Dali felt that his father was being driven crazy by the torment.

At the same time, Dudley felt dissatisfied with the actions of these wizards for the first time.

He needed family to take care of him, so they just left him at my doorstep and ignored him for eleven years. They said he was pitiful, but the truth is that no one has ever seen or taken care of him in these eleven years.

Now that he's of school age, the magical world will need him, and they can just send a letter to take him away.

They did not consult the guardians at all.

What do you take us Dursleys for?

What do you take Harry for?

They come when called and leave when dismissed.

Can't we send someone over to have a proper talk?

Is it fun to play tricks on Muggles?

Is this what a high and mighty wizard is like?

Isn't that a bit too arrogant?

"I've found the perfect place!"

Vernon pushed open the door to his hotel room, his eyes bloodshot, and said that he hadn't had a good night's sleep for several days.

Vernon found a huge rock in the sea with a dilapidated two-story hut resembling an abandoned lighthouse on it.

Such places are destined to have no electricity, and even cooking can only be done with firewood.

As night fell, Dursley went to bed early; he hadn't had a good night's sleep in days of fear and anxiety.

A fragrant aroma wafted from the kitchen, and soon several simple dishes, along with a bowl of longevity noodles, were placed in front of Harry.

Happy birthday, Harry.

Dali said apologetically, "With the materials I have, this is all I can do. I'll make up for the gift when we get back."

He then brought out a simple birthday cake made with flour and eggs, without any cream or honey on top.

Harry was very happy, though, because his older cousin had never forgotten his birthday over the years.

"Thank you, Brother D."

He slurped up big mouthfuls of noodles, a happy smile on his face.

Soon, a bowl of noodles was finished, and the cake was almost completely eaten as well.

But then Harry suddenly said, "D-bro, if they're only targeting me, let them take me away."

"My Uncle Vernon and Aunt Penny have been going through a tough time lately, and I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me."

Even though Harry didn't see the contents of the letter, he roughly understood that the sender's target was him.

Dali patted his head: "Don't worry, no one can take you away if you don't want to."

The wizards' disdainful and playful behavior during this time had already fueled Dudley's resentment.

A golden spark danced on Dali's fingertips.

Ripple Qigong.

In the pouch at his waist, various kinds of magic potions were neatly arranged.

Dudley disliked the use of violence, but he never opposed it.

After a while, feeling sleepy, Harry wrapped himself in the blanket and lay down. Dudley, on the other hand, sat cross-legged, conserving his energy and getting himself into peak condition.

Accompanied by a unique breathing rhythm, blood mixed with golden arcs of electricity was infused into the eight extraordinary meridians and the entire body.

After an unknown amount of time, something outside made a creaking sound.

However, since it was near the rocks, this was a normal phenomenon and no one paid much attention to it.

Dali slowly opened his eyes, his gaze fixed on the door like two sharp swords.

He sensed that someone was trying to come in.

"boom!"

A tremendous force slammed into the door, shaking the entire hut violently. Harry was jolted awake, curled up in bed, and stared in horror at the door.

Wearing his pajamas, Vernon stumbled downstairs carrying a rifle, while Penny followed behind him with a worried expression.

Just then, with a deafening crash, the door slammed heavily to the ground, sending dust flying.

Standing at the doorway was a giant man several inches taller than the door frame. Dudley roughly estimated that he was at least three meters tall. His face was almost completely covered by his messy long hair and tangled thick beard, but you could still see his eyes, which looked like black beetles, gleaming beneath his hair.

The giant man hunched over and shrank back, finally managing to squeeze through the door and into the house. He then picked up the door panel from the ground and pressed it back onto the original door frame.

"Could I have a cup of hot tea? Milk would be fine too, this place is really remote."

The giant acted as if he were in his own home, striding over to the sofa and plopping down on it. Dudley could hear the groaning of the springs beneath the sofa.

"Aha, Harry, you're Harry."

The giant pointed at the terrified Harry and burst into thunderous laughter.

"The last time I saw you, you were so young."

The giant extended his thumb and forefinger, making a gesture that signified the loss of the South Korean market.

"Look, you really look like your dad, but your eyes are just like your mom's."

Do you know my parents?

Before Harry could even ask the question, he heard Vernon scream excitedly.

"I want you to leave immediately, sir!"

"You're trespassing!"

After saying that, he pointed the dark muzzle of his gun at the giant.

"Dersley, you big idiot, this stuff is useless to me."

The giant casually grabbed the gun from Vernon across the sofa, and with a gentle twist, tied the rifle into a tight knot, as if it were made of rubber.

"What are you going to do?"

Vernon spread his arms wide, protecting Petunia, Harry, and Dudley behind him like a mother hen protecting her chicks.

"I will protect my family."
