Hogwarts: I'm Harry's older cousin

Chapter 127-125 The Wolf of Hogwarts

Chapter 127, Section 125: The Wolf of Hogwarts

"Crazy girl Luna?"

Ron blurted out the first thing he saw when he saw the other person.

Hermione frowned slightly: "I don't think giving people nicknames is a fun thing to do."

"No, not me, that's what everyone in Ravenclaw calls her."

Ron tried his best to explain that he didn't want to leave Dudley with the bad impression that he liked to give nicknames.

"Hello, little wizard from Ravenclaw," Dudley greeted as he stepped forward.

The little witch seemed dazed and confused, only snapping out of her reverie upon hearing Dudley's voice.

"Hello, Mr. Dursley," the little witch replied politely in a soft voice, as if she were sleepwalking.

Dudley was just as famous at Hogwarts as Dumbledore.

You may not know who the professor is, but you absolutely cannot be unaware of the head of the discipline group.

Dudley noticed that the little witch was wearing a pair of radish-shaped earrings and a necklace made of butterbeer bottle corks, which looked rather strange in combination with the aura she exuded.

"What's your name?"

"Luna, Luna Lovegood."

Lovegood, that's the same name as the heartless newspaper editor who didn't pay his articles.

"It's so late now, why aren't you sleeping in your dorm? What are you doing here?" Dali asked.

Without hesitation, Luna replied, "I'm looking for the Curved-Horned Snoring Beasts. I've heard their sounds. Have you seen them?"

"What is that?"

Neville was taken aback. He was also quite good at magical creature conservation, but he had never heard of this name before.

Could it be some kind of new magical creature?

"A creature not recognized by the wizarding world. It is said to inhabit Sweden," Hermione explained from the encyclopedia, her gaze towards Luna somewhat complicated. "Most wizards do not believe in their existence."

"They exist," Luna said with unwavering certainty, as if she had seen them before.

"I cannot determine whether unproven organisms exist."

Hermione shook her head, not intending to dwell on the matter any longer.

Whether she exists or not is of little concern to her.

She's not some kind of fanatic about magical creatures.

"Where are your shoes?" Dali asked, pointing to Luna's feet.

Hogwarts doesn't have underfloor heating, nor does it automatically adjust the temperature.

The weather has been getting colder lately, and the ground is getting colder, especially at night, feeling like walking on frozen ground. This has caused Luna's already pale feet to turn bluish-purple from the cold, and she unconsciously curls them up together.

"They often disappear without a trace, and I think they must be hidden by some elves hiding in Hogwarts."

Even though her feet were shivering from the cold, Luna's voice still sounded optimistic.

"I don't think it was done by some little elves."

Hermione put away her book upon hearing this, and her expression turned serious. Luna's words reminded her of what had happened to her last year.

It's only been a short time and it's already school bullying again?

They think it's funny to hide other people's shoes?

"Walking barefoot on the ground for a long time can have some negative effects on the body, and even magic potions cannot completely cure it."

Hermione took off her shoes and handed them to Luna.

"Your feet are about the same size as mine, so you can wear these shoes for now. Just give them back to me when you find your own shoes."

Harry, standing nearby, stared wide-eyed. Those shoes were Hermione's favorite pair, a gift from Dudley.

"Thank you," Luna said sincerely, but politely declined, adding, "But if you give it to me, your own feet will get cold."

"It's alright." Hermione shook her head, then patted Dudley on the shoulder. "I don't think I'll get cold."

Luna looked at Dali thoughtfully, but this time she didn't refuse.

After putting on her shoes, Luna was persuaded by the others to return to her dormitory.

Dudley leaned against the wall with his arms crossed. This time, he wasn't going to offer any advice; he wanted to know how Hermione and the others would handle it.

First, Malfoy turned to the crowd and said, "It's obvious that this is another bullying incident."

"We should go with her, arrest those bullies, and make them pay for it."

Ron said excitedly, and you could even hear a hint of excitement in his tone.

Malfoy said sarcastically, "Putting aside the fact that it's curfew now, do you want to sneak into Ravenclaw's girls' dorms in the middle of the night? You little rascal, that's a truly brilliant idea."

"I don't want to end up like you, infamous as the Wolf of Hogwarts the next day."

His tone and demeanor perfectly captured Snape's essence; no wonder he was Snape's second favorite student.

Ron was so angry that his face turned red, and with his red hair, it looked like his head was on fire. He shouted that he wanted to duel Malfoy. Harry let go of him after pulling him for a while and simply moved a small stool to watch the two of them duel.

Of course, a duel is definitely out of the question.

Hermione then spoke up, "To catch a thief red-handed, you need to catch him red-handed. What if they say Luna disposed of it herself? How do you explain that?"

As long as the crime scene isn't caught red-handed, there's a lot of room for maneuver.

You can't stop me from insisting that Luna did it herself. Even if you know it was bullying, what can you do about it?

"You need evidence to punish them, otherwise why should others believe you?"

"What should we do then?"

Ron was dumbfounded; it seemed he had been too naive.

"The evidence will probably be available in a couple of days," Hermione said with a light laugh, exuding confidence.

Ravenclaw lounge.

Luna, returning from her nighttime outing, put her shoes back on and went to her bed.

Because these shoes don't belong to her, she can't take them off; if they get lost again, she won't be able to return them.

In reality, Luna just appeared dazed and insane.

In fact, she was smarter than most little wizards, but her innate personality meant she wasn't someone who liked to argue with others.

However, just because you don't care about certain things doesn't mean others will let you off the hook. They might even think you're weak and easy to bully, and thus take advantage of you and become even more demanding. When you are being bullied, you must learn to fight back.

Feeling the gentle warmth emanating from the inside of the shoes, Luna felt a warm glow inside.

Unbeknownst to Luna, after she drifted off to sleep, her roommates woke up and gathered together, whispering amongst themselves.

It's perfectly normal for four girls in a dorm room to have five or six group chats.

This is a different kind of exclusion.

"Look, that crazy girl got another pair of shoes from somewhere, they're so pretty."

The style must be top-notch to be chosen by Dudley to give to Hermione.

"It looks familiar," a little witch said hesitantly.

However, her voice was too soft and did not attract the attention of anyone else.

"How could she be worthy?" another little witch said, her voice filled with jealousy.

The other little witches chimed in, "Hide it again. I want to see how many shoes she has."

How could someone from another dorm room have gone missing? Who would go around checking your shoes all the time? It could only be someone from your dorm room.
