Chapter 452 You're Cheating

After being terrified by Hawking's power, Loki fled Asgard and noticed that his brother Thor was quickly pursuing him. He first created an illusion to confuse Thor, and then successfully arrived at the control room of the Rainbow Bridge first, where he planted the Spear of Eternity.

This time, however, it wasn't teleportation. Instead, he controlled the Rainbow Bridge to concentrate all its energy and launch a powerful attack on Jotunheim, destroying the planet and wiping out countless frost giants.

"Loki, what are you doing?"

Thor, having seen through Loki's illusion, rushed back, his eyes widening in shock as he watched Loki gather the energy of the Bifrost.

He had always thought that Loki just liked playing pranks, and this time was no exception. Hela was just part of his prank, since he himself was fine now.

But Loki's actions now have made him waver.

"What are we going to do? Of course, we're going to wipe out Jotunheim and destroy their world in one fell swoop using the Rainbow Bridge!"

Loki turned to look at Thor.

Thor's face immediately showed an expression of disbelief.

"Why are you doing this? Stop it right now. If you really want the throne, I can give it to you. There's no need to go to this extent."

Even before, he had never thought of destroying a planet or killing all the frost giants.

The infiltration of the Frost Giants into the Divine Realm is a provocation against the Divine Realm. He believes that war should be waged to teach the Frost Giant race a lesson and make them behave.

But Loki's actions now are not just a lesson, but a real massacre, an act of genocide that spares no civilians, the elderly, women and children, which is something he cannot tolerate.

He is a warrior, not a butcher.

"Do you think I really care about that throne, Thor? Father has always only had eyes for you, and the people of Asgard have eyes for you too. I've always been the one who gets ignored."

I will prove to everyone that I, Loki, am more fit to be king than you, Thor, and deserve more respect and importance.

The Rainbow Bridge has been activated, and no one can stop it. You'd better just wait patiently for the outcome, or don't blame me for being ruthless!

Loki, looking confident of victory, drew the Spear of Eternity and aimed it at Thor.

Thor's face also showed anger. He picked up Mjolnir and charged forward, intending to teach his brother a lesson and then find a way to shut down the Rainbow Bridge.

"Loki, you've gone too far this time!"

And so, the two sides began fighting back and forth on the Rainbow Bridge.

In terms of raw power, Loki is naturally no match for Thor. However, Loki is proficient in various forms of magic and is very cunning. He never confronts Thor head-on, but instead uses magic to harass him and prevent him from destroying the Rainbow Bridge to gather energy.

"Thor, you've lost. The energy is full now, there's nothing you can do now."

Loki watched as enough energy finally gathered in the Rainbow Bridge control room and began to prepare for the attack towards Jotunheim, and he burst into triumphant laughter.

Seeing this, Thor gritted his teeth, picked up Mjolnir, and smashed it down on the Rainbow Bridge.

"Who says it can't be stopped? As long as the Rainbow Bridge is smashed, all of this can be stopped."

Loki's expression changed drastically upon seeing this:

"Thor, what are you doing? Without the Rainbow Bridge, the Asgardian army can't enter the other realms. Don't you know what the consequences will be?"

Because of the power of the Divine Realm, and because the Rainbow Bridge of the Divine Realm can teleport the Divine Realm's army to any place in the Nine Realms at any time.

That's why the Nine Realms can maintain peace now.

If the Rainbow Bridge is gone, then the hidden forces of the Nine Realms will surely become restless, and the Nine Realms will once again enter the chaotic period of thousands of years ago.

Thor, who had been leading troops in battles for years, could not possibly be unaware of these things, but now he had no choice.

Fortunately, just as his hammer was about to smash into the Rainbow Bridge, a hand stopped him.

"Don't destroy the Rainbow Bridge. I'll stop it from attacking Jotunheim. You should talk to your brother again."

The person who arrived was none other than Stephen Hawking, who had been closely following the situation.

In a flash, he appeared directly in front of the Rainbow Bridge energy transmitter, blocking the energy transmission with his body.

"Stephen Hawking!"

"No way!"

Thor and Loki were both dumbfounded at the sight.

Thor was worried about Hawking's safety, while Loki was simply frightened by Hawking's actions.

That's an energy attack capable of blasting an entire planet apart in a single blow. To block it with your body? Even Odin, the father god, wouldn't dare say he could withstand it!

"Disperse!"

Faced with the massive beam of energy shooting straight at him, Hawking raised his right hand and pressed it down, then with a gentle flick, he dispersed all the energy.

This scene left Thor and Loki stunned, and even Odin, who had just recovered his divine power and awakened, was startled.

For Hawking at this point in his life, destructive energy like that emitted by the Rainbow Bridge is actually the easiest thing to deal with.

Destroying a planet normally requires about 10,000 to 20,000 combat power of energy. For a powerful planet like Jotunheim, it would probably require 70,000 to 80,000 combat power of energy.

Furthermore, since it's not a close-range launch but rather a launch from such a distant place as the Divine Realm, and considering the energy consumed en route, the actual energy released by the Rainbow Bridge is approximately one million combat power.

What is Hawking's current basic combat strength?

Even without transforming into a Super Saiyan, he possesses a terrifying combat power of over four billion. Dispersing an energy attack with a mere million combat power is incredibly easy for him.

"How could this happen? You're cheating!"

Seeing how easily Hawking manipulated the energy gathered by the Rainbow Bridge, Loki plopped down on the ground.

At that moment, a figure appeared on the Rainbow Bridge and snatched the Spear of Eternity from Loki's hand.

"Father!"

Upon seeing the newcomer, Thor and Loki both called out simultaneously.

Odin nodded:

"Thor, take Loki back and lock him in a room. He's not to come out without my permission."

Upon hearing this, Thor immediately stepped forward and grabbed Loki. This time, Loki did not resist, but his face was full of dejection.

"Loki, no matter what your bloodline is, you will always be my child. You will become a king like Thor, just not the king of Asgard."

Seeing Loki being taken away by Thor, Odin sighed, then composed himself and looked at Hawking.

"Mr. Hawking, thank you for your help to Asgard."

This statement is not just a polite formality.

If it weren't for Hawking's intervention, at the very least, the Rainbow Bridge might not have been saved, and chaos would have engulfed the Nine Realms, resulting in countless deaths.

"Your Majesty is too kind. Thor and I are friends. As long as you don't blame me for breaking the seal on Thor and entering the realm of the gods without my permission, that's fine."

Odin was very polite, and Hawking naturally gave him face as well.
