Author's Note on the Launch of Chapter 91

Thanks to my brothers for their support. Although I failed to advance to the Sanjiang competition, I still want to express my gratitude.

Thank you for the generous donation, brother. I promised in the book club group to add 10,000 words, and I won't break my promise. On the day of release, I will deliver a total of 20,000 words of updates. I also want to thank all the brothers who support Koi.

Released on Friday! Updates will be after noon, so there may be a slight delay of a few minutes. Please be patient.

I lost my job last May due to the pandemic and had no choice but to go home. As someone in my thirties with a low level of education, I could only try working full-time.

Things have been pretty good since last year. At least full-time writing is tiring and there's no job security, but I really enjoy it and I do it with dignity.

So brothers, don't worry. Some people are making sarcastic remarks in the book reviews, saying that if it doesn't make it to the top three literary journals, will it be abandoned? That's really pointless. I'm not abandoning it. I write books to support my family. Don't worry.

If nothing else happens after it's published, I'll update it steadily with 8,000 words every day. Also, I want to tell you guys that after it's published, it will be long chapters, the kind with 4,000 words per chapter, so don't just look at the number of chapters, you need to look at the quality.

For an author who writes 2,000 words per chapter, this is equivalent to updating four times a day. Another reader who joined the subscription group said, "After the author goes live, can you update 5,000 words a day?" I replied that I need to eat and I'll stick to updating 8,000 words a day.

Haha ^_^

It's not that I can't update more, but I learned my lesson from updating too much in my last book. The author's talent is limited, and my typing speed isn't fast enough either. In my previous book, "Red Cloud: Establishing Mahayana Buddhism and Becoming a Saint," I updated more than 1.2 words per day, and I updated more than 44 words in the first month and 38 words in the second month.

The previous book was updated very frequently in the early stages, with tens of thousands of words almost every day. However, the result was that the pursuit of quantity led to a lack of quality. Therefore, after much reflection, this book decided to prioritize quality before pursuing quantity.

It will be available for purchase after 12 noon on March 10th, with five chapters and 20,000 words updated. Starting from the 11th, the update time will be changed to 8:00 AM. After all, updating after midnight requires staying up all night, so it's better to change it to 8:00 AM every day from now on.

I don't complain about being miserable or poor. Being able to write full-time allows me to balance my dreams and making money, and I feel quite happy. I would say I'm much happier than many people.

The author is from a small, fourth-tier city, haha, so he'll work hard for the next two years to support his family by writing books until he's 35. If his writing isn't good enough to support his family, he'll switch to part-time work and find a factory job to support them.

Please subscribe! To all the readers who are reading the official version, thank you for your support. It is because of you that the author can go far. The better the results, the stricter the anti-piracy measures on Qidian become. So, to all the readers who are "nurturing" the book, let's check back every now and then. You know what I mean.

I'd also like to report to you all on the current status of this book: 1.96 favorites and 2600+ reads before it was released.

(Just between you and me, someone asked why the harem hasn't been started yet. The protagonist is still so young. Besides, just like in this society, having power and money is the foundation for starting a harem, isn't it?)

Wishing all the brothers who have supported the author smooth sailing, good fortune, academic success, career advancement, good health, and all the best to all.
