Chapter 51: The Great Melee of the Three Academies

Chapter 51 The Great Melee of the Three Academies

"Mudblood" is a very offensive and impolite term used by pure-blood wizards to refer to Muggle wizards, essentially the same as other races calling their black brothers "nigger" to their faces.

Harry grew up in the Muggle world, and Hermione is a pure Muggle wizard. No one would tell them something like this unless they experienced it firsthand.

But everyone else, except for the two of them, knew that this was also the reason why the twins and Ron reacted so strongly.

Of course, no one expected that Ike would react the most.

Ike hadn't planned to get involved, and even though Malfoy casually insulted him, he wasn't too angry.

What might be considered a grave insult by others was no different from ordinary profanity to Ike, just as he often called people like Malfoy idiots, morons, and morons.

Swearing, it doesn't really matter, the effect is pretty much the same.

Of course, if Malfoy was just cursing behind her back, then the matter would be over. What he shouldn't have done was watch the show from the sidelines when he uttered the curse, and not repent. It had nothing to do with him being unable to bear seeing Hermione being bullied.

"You just said a word that I don't think I heard clearly. Could you please say it again, Mr. Malfoy?" Ike used Snape's gaze for the first time this new school year, staring coldly at Malfoy.

"Put him down!" Marcus didn't know who Ike was, but he couldn't quite understand how the guy had just pulled Malfoy out of the crowd, and he knew this second-year kid was not to be trifled with. However, as the captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team, he couldn't back down no matter what.

Besides, how good can a second grader be?

"You haven't met my demands yet, Mr. Malfoy." Ike ignored the shouting Marcus and the other Slytherins beside him and stared intently at the trembling Malfoy in front of him.

Malfoy, also unsure of Ike's fighting prowess, retorted defiantly, "My dad's on the school board, I'll have him expel you! You filthy wretch..."

Before he could finish speaking, Ike suddenly waved his hand, and Malfoy flew out with a "whoosh," flying five or six meters in the air before crashing heavily to the ground, rolling seven or eight times before coming to a stop. Ike then clenched his hand again, and Malfoy, who was screaming on the ground, seemed to be dragged along the grass to his feet.

"I still didn't hear you clearly, Mr. Malfoy. Would you like to say it again?" Ike looked down at Malfoy, who was groaning on the ground, and even had a smile on his face.

"How dare you lay a hand on me!" Marcus never expected Ike to attack so directly and was still a little caught off guard. However, Malfoy's two henchmen, Clark and Goyle, couldn't stand it anymore and drew their wands, casting two spells at Ike.

"It's burning hot!"

"His front teeth are like a big stick!"

Ike reacted quickly; his right hand, seemingly holding a wand, naturally materialized in his grasp. With a sweep of his wrist, a faint shield appeared, blocking their attacks. After about two seconds, Ike calmly said, "Armor Protection!"

"Mr. Malfoy, you..." Ike hadn't finished speaking when he was struck by more than a dozen spells. Although the Ironclad Charm was very strong and blocked all the spells, he still involuntarily took a few steps back. Taking advantage of the opportunity, two or three members of the Slytherin group ran out and rescued Malfoy from the ground.

"Ike, right?" Marcus pointed his wand at Ike. "You need to apologize, or else..."

"Otherwise what?" Ike tilted his head, tapped his head with his wand, and said casually, "Want to fight?"

"That's right, you want to fight? You bastards!" The little lions finally realized what was happening and pulled out their wands, pointing them at the snakes. Ron's voice was especially loud, and if Harry hadn't been secretly holding them back, they probably would have charged out.

The arrival of Gryffindor did not deter Marcus and his group. Marcus's wand remained pointed at Ike, while the others confronted the Gryffindors. In terms of fighting, Slytherin had fought countless battles with Gryffindor over the years and had never been afraid.

"Ike!" Stuart's voice rang out, and some of the Hawks who had been watching from the sidelines came down. Ike turned around and saw only Roger, Cho, and Stuart; the others had left sometime earlier.

With a shrug, Ike pointed his wand back at Marcus, while the little eagle beside him aimed at the snakes.

"Mr. Flint, please call Mr. Malfoy out. He still has a question for me." Ike smiled. "If you want to stop him, I'll ask him out myself."

"Heh... I think you need to learn a lesson." Marcus knew that this fight was inevitable and didn't take Roger and the others seriously at all. As soon as he finished speaking, a red light shot out from the tip of his staff and shot towards Ike.

"Disarm you!"

With a wave of his wand, Ike blocked Marcus's disarming spell.

Marcus's move served as a signal, prompting the other Slytherins to split into two groups: one attacking Gryffindor and the other targeting Roger and his group, catching them completely off guard.

Ron, standing in front, was hit directly. His front teeth protruded from his mouth and grew all the way to his chin. He mumbled a spell, but his wand suddenly flashed green, sending him flying. As he got up, he felt a churning in his stomach. He bent over and opened his mouth, and a palm-sized slug, trailing long slime, fell to the ground, wriggling a few times.

No one paid any attention to Ron, who was the first to lose his fighting ability. Even those who were hit retaliated fiercely. Soon, the situation was completely out of control. Various spells flew through the air, and people were hit every now and then. Some developed scabies on their faces, some had their legs involuntarily tap-dancing, and some simply collapsed to the ground, stiffening completely. Then, they were struck by five or six spells and transformed into grotesque creatures.

With the scene so chaotic, even if Ike wanted to, he couldn't protect Stuart and the others. Despite being under the effects of the Ironclad Charm, he used the Petrify Charm in his left hand and the Disarm Charm in his right to attack Marcus.

Marcus, as a sixth-year student, was quite experienced. He blocked Ike's Disarming Charm with an Ironclad Charm and dodged the Petrify Charm that followed. However, it was clear that he hadn't expected a second-year wizard to know so many spells, most of which were at the level of Silent and Staffless Charms. He was completely overwhelmed by Ike's subsequent barrage of attacks. His Ironclad Charm only lasted three seconds before being broken, and despite his frantic maneuvering, he couldn't escape being overwhelmed by the spells.

After dealing with Marcus, Ike actually took a step back. The scene was too chaotic; in just a short while, it had turned into a chaotic free-for-all. Some were dancing and casting spells, while others were charging forward with prominent front teeth. Ike even saw the twins coordinate to deliver a series of punches to a Slytherin, only to be tackled from behind halfway through, taking two hard blows to the face.

The magical duel has been turned into melee combat, and Ike doesn't want to test the Ironclad Charm's ability to defend against physical attacks.

Unfortunately, in the heat of the moment, there was no way to dodge. Before Ike could even retreat, five or six spells flew in from nowhere, startling him. He tried to retaliate, but had no idea who had struck him.

Just as Ike was searching for someone, several more spells flew over. Ike steeled himself, cast an Ironclad Charm on himself, put away his wand, and charged at a small snake with two large front teeth, shouting loudly:

"Demacia!"

A true master must engage in close-quarters combat!
