Chapter 283 Who is the Hidden Mantis?

"Armor for protection!"

"Thunderous explosion!"

"Avada Kedavra, eating a giant melon!"

The curse flew around, and in a short time, it turned the train carriage into a battlefield, leaving only a place to stand on the tracks, which was also full of potholes and broken pieces.

Harry slammed his fist against the door in front of him, especially as more and more people from the Ministry of Magic fell down; he seemed to have gone mad. He dared not use magic, for fear of hurting those who had fallen on the other side of the door.

"Get out of the way, Harry!" Hermione's voice suddenly rang out, and Harry quickly ducked to the side. He then saw Hermione's wand pointed at the carriage door, and she shouted, "Shatter to pieces!"

Harry was about to speak up to stop them when a red light landed on the door. The next second, the door shook violently and then disappeared like fine sand.

"Great, Hermione!" Harry shouted excitedly. Just as he was about to move, he saw Hermione run out first, raise her hand, and see countless golden threads converge in the air to form a huge whip, which then lashed out fiercely at the guy still sitting in the chair.

The two combatants moved aside in perfect unison, watching as the man drew his wand and lightly swung it at the whip, severing it in two.

"Boom! Boom!"

Two loud explosions rang out, the sound of the whip, broken in two, striking the carriage. The broken piece flew towards the carriage opposite Hermione, barely managed to be stopped by several Ministry of Magic personnel working together, but was still sent flying by the residual force, slamming heavily into the carriage door. The remaining piece landed directly on the ground, blasting the previously intact ground into pieces, even shattering the rails and the ground beneath the carriage, leaving only a huge crater.

"Slap, slap, slap..."

The man waved his hand to disperse the dust and smoke from the explosion, then clapped and stood up. With a flick of his wand, the attackers instinctively gathered around him.

He pulled back the hood that had been hanging over his head, revealing a face that Harry and the others knew all too well.

"Great progress, Hermione," Ike said softly.

"Strider!" Hermione was about to speak when Harry, Ron, and Neville stepped in front of her, with Ginny and Luna standing on either side of her.

Harry pointed his wand at Ike and shouted, "You're not getting away today! You'll pay for what you've done!"

"Is that so?" Ike glanced at the six wands pointing directly at him, then gestured to the Ministry of Magic personnel slumped to the ground beside and behind them, and chuckled, "You think you can take them on? Ha!"

"These Ministry of Magic guys are your only hope? Look at them, how many of them can still fight?"

"We're enough!" Harry shouted, but Ike shook his head.

"Tsk tsk tsk, alright, you actually said it... Years have passed, and you haven't improved at all." Ike's tone was full of sarcasm and disdain. "Fine, that saves me some effort..."

Before he could finish speaking, Ike suddenly waved his wand, and countless golden threads converged in the air to form a giant hand that reached down to grab Harry.

"Armor for protection!"

Harry instinctively used the Iron Man Charm, but Hermione reacted faster. The instant the golden thread appeared, she rushed in front of Harry and, just like Ike had done before, swung her wand fiercely towards the sky. A huge red light shot into the sky and directly hit the giant golden hand.

Another explosion rang out, the red light shattering the palm into pieces, and golden specks of light rained down. Hermione's expression turned serious as she raised her hand to hold up a huge silver shield above her head. Then, the shield trembled violently as the specks of light struck it and exploded again.

As if watching fireworks, Ike smiled with satisfaction, while the group around him whistled and shouted excitedly.

Ignoring everything else, he quietly watched the golden light and the shield disappear together, saw Hermione's resolute gaze return, and witnessed the resentment and shock on Harry's face.

"Forget it, I'm done playing..." Ike said, raising his hand and unleashing seven or eight spells simultaneously. Hermione reacted quickly, raising a silver shield in front of her. But then, to her astonishment, the spells seemed to come alive, bypassing the shield and striking Harry behind her.

"Armor for protection!"

Several voices rang out in succession, and several small, rotating shields appeared in front of Harry, blocking Ike's spell. Then, several people suddenly appeared in front of him. One of them, a gaunt man with long black hair, directly cast a spell on Ike.

"Thunderous explosion!"

With a wave of his hand, he dispersed the incoming red light, and looked at the group of people who had suddenly appeared, nodding in satisfaction.

"You were here after all! I knew Dumbledore wouldn't trust the Ministry of Magic's so-called protective power; in the end, we'll have to rely on you."

"Right, Professor Lupin?"

Lupin didn't reply, but simply reached out and pulled Hermione behind him. Ike, however, continued, "Quite a few familiar faces..."

As they spoke, several more people appeared, each holding a wand, aimed at Ike and his group. Ike didn't react much, but his group became somewhat agitated.

Over the past month, they had encountered each other many times, and these people had clearly left a shadow on them. In particular, there was the gaunt man with long black hair and the old man with a constantly darting demonic eye; they had almost been wiped out by these two several times.

How could these werewolves and dark wizards, who have always been at the bottom of the magical world and lived a precarious life, possibly be a match for Sirius Black, the sole heir of the Black family, and the retired Auro Alastor Moody?

"Young master, can I have him later? I smell a familiar scent," Fenrir Greyback said, grinning to reveal a set of black, sharp teeth.

"Of course, as long as you do what you're supposed to do."

"Heh heh... young master, when have I ever disappointed you?" Graybury said, letting out a long howl. With the howl, more than twenty ragged men appeared and surrounded the members of the Order of the Phoenix.

Seeing this, Ike nodded slightly, then looked at the wary crowd opposite him and slowly raised his wand.
