Chapter 211 Two People with the Same Feelings

Chapter 211 Two People with the Same Feelings

"Has it been found...?"

In Malfoy's basement, after listening to Ike's account, Old Fu muttered to himself thoughtfully.

"No, teacher." Ike shook his head. "There are so many prophecies in there, and time is too short to examine them all."

"No, that's not what I meant, little Ike." Old Voldemort shook his head. "I only sent you there to confirm the location of the Hall of Prophecy, but since you said that the door can move around at will, it doesn't matter..."

"I have a new idea about that prophecy..."

Seeing Old Fu lost in thought, Ike bowed slightly and left. Lately, Old Fu has been frequently drifting off into daydreams, sometimes even falling asleep, especially at night.

At first, he would wait by Old Voldemort's side when he entered this state, but one time Old Voldemort discovered him and let him leave as he pleased. Of course, this privilege was reserved for Ike; if anyone else encountered this situation while reporting something, they would have to wait patiently. Otherwise, even Bella wouldn't allow it.

Leaving the basement, Ike went straight back to the laboratory Lucius had prepared for him. This place had completely become his domain, filled with all sorts of strange and wonderful things, mostly the product of his flashes of inspiration during his research.

It was interesting, and dangerous. And now, there are two more dangerous things here, which is also the biggest gain from Ike's trip.

"The plan is going smoothly..."

Ike fiddled with the pocket watch in his hand, watching the occasional flashes of gold on it, and silently crossed out a line from his mental plan. This was one of the reasons he chose to follow Voldemort; after all, if he stayed at Hogwarts, he wouldn't be able to use the Time-Turner at will, nor would he be able to conduct more in-depth research on it.

Only with Voldemort could he do what he wanted without any scruples, such as fully accepting the Ministry of Magic's research on time over the years and conducting some dangerous time travel experiments.

Of course, it will take some time to accomplish this, and it is clear that what Lao Fu is planning now is the best cover.

While Ike calmed down, Harry from Hogwarts told Hermione and Ron about his nightmare. Their reactions were as Harry expected: Ron exploded, while Hermione fell silent.

"I told you that guy was even more evil than Malfoy, completely rotten!" Ron shouted from the Room of Requirement. "Listen to this, he's working for Mystic now, and clearly his right-hand man!"

"Alright, Ron, you're clearly focusing on the wrong thing." Hermione suddenly spoke up, her expression very serious, which surprised both Ron and Harry. They thought Hermione would be like before, not commenting on anything related to Ike.

Hermione ignored their surprised looks and asked seriously, "Harry, you just said you're the Man from Darkness?"

Harry nodded, realizing the seriousness of the situation, something that had never happened before.

"From the snake to Vlad the Man, Harry, this is serious! Your brain is now directly connected to him!" Hermione grabbed Harry's arm and dragged him outside. "We have to tell the professor, tell Dumbledore!"

"No!" Harry yelled, breaking free and taking a few steps back. "I can't tell anyone! If I learn Occlumency, this thing will be impossible to see!"

"That's why you should tell Dumbledore!" Hermione said firmly. "Do you think Snape won't see it in his next lesson? Clearly, your brain is a sieve right now..."

"Alright, Hermione, stop talking..." Harry pleaded, sitting down on the ground weakly and clutching his head in pain.

Hermione calmed down a bit and, like Ron, slowly walked over, squatted down, and gently placed her hand on Harry's shoulder.

"I know you want to do it all on your own, even dangerous things, like investigating the Mystic..." Hermione said slowly, "But Harry, that's the Mystic. Do you really think you can do it?"

"Why not? He did it before, didn't he?" Ron suddenly retorted, which made Harry stubborn again.

"Yes, I can do it!"

Looking at Harry, who seemed to be on steroids, Hermione suddenly didn't want to say anything and even felt more exhausted than ever before. She knew a lot of things, even more than Dumbledore and Snape, but she could only keep them buried in her heart.

That's why Hermione wanted to guide Harry to do the right thing, but she failed again. With a sigh, she gave up trying to persuade him, but silently added a few more plans and contingency plans to her mind.

These two idiots are her best friends at Hogwarts; she can't just stand by and watch them fall into the abyss.

Neither Harry nor Ron found Hermione's silence surprising, as this had happened far too many times this term, and in fact, their relationship had been like this since their first year.

Furthermore, Harry didn't completely ignore Hermione's words. Not telling Dumbledore didn't mean he wouldn't tell Sirius, the person he trusted most. At the same time, he focused more on learning Occlumency, though he still hadn't made much progress.

As Hermione had predicted, Snape did discover Harry's problem during the very next lesson. After using Legilimency, Snape easily saw the person sitting in the ornate chair, and Ike standing beside him.

"What was your last memory?" Snape's voice was icy, but Harry had just endured some "torture" and was kneeling weakly on the floor, completely disoriented.

"What memory? Is it the one where my form tried to shove my head down the toilet?" Harry rubbed his head, still not quite understanding.

"No, it was a man kneeling on the ground..."

"Um...it's nothing," Harry said, his expression somewhat unnatural.

"Bang!"

Snape suddenly pulled Harry up from the ground and slammed him into a chair, his eyes fixed on him.

"How did that person and that room end up in your head, Potter?" Snape asked coldly.

"That...it was just a dream of mine...yes, just a dream." Harry's eyes darted away, his gaze uncontrollably shifting to the side.

"Look at me, Potter!" Snape roughly twisted Harry's head around. "Do you even know what we're doing here, or why I give up my evenings to do this awful job?"

"It's been over two months, I thought you'd made some progress..." Snape suddenly stood up straight, looking down at Harry, "How many more dreams have you had about the Dark Lord?"

"This...this one."

"That's it? Humph!" Snape scoffed. "Perhaps you enjoy these hallucinations and strange dreams; they make you feel special?"

"But that doesn't matter, I don't care about that. My job is just to teach you that damn Occlumency!" With that, Snape pulled out his wand and slammed it hard against Harry's forehead, his tone incredibly nasty.

"Ready? Let's continue..."

"three!"

"two!"

"one!"

"Capture the spirit, grasp the mind!"
