Chapter 143 Death Eaters?

Chapter 143 Death Eaters?

"Thunderous explosion!"

"Armor for protection!"

Ike waved his left hand, deflecting an incoming explosive spell, and with a flick of his wand in his right, three small silver shields landed on the three of them. Not satisfied, two more small shields appeared, circling around Hermione and Ginny.

With the shield in place, Ike felt a little relieved and could finally act more freely. As his wand swept through the air, the small shield in front of him suddenly enlarged, and with his left hand outstretched, the shield slowly moved forward, completely shielding Ike.

"Bang, bang, bang"

Numerous spells were cast upon it, yet only slight ripples appeared; it remained firmly in place.

"Is this still the Ironclad Curse?" A person wearing a white hood was a little confused, but before the person next to him could reply, he felt a violent tremor in the ground, as if something was about to burst out of the ground.

Ike gripped his wand tightly in his right hand, the tip pointing straight at the ground in front of him. He suddenly raised it upwards, and a huge hand slammed down on the person opposite him.

"Damn it, stop it!"

Countless spells struck the slowly descending giant hand, but only knocked down a few pebbles and clods of earth.

"Get out of the way!"

Someone shouted, and those who had been resisting scattered and fled. Ike seized the opportunity, extended and pulled with his wand, and the child floating in the air quickly flew over.

"He's alive!" Hermione quickly checked the child and found he was still breathing, albeit very weakly. "He needs immediate medical attention!"

Upon hearing this, Ike immediately tossed a small bottle to Hermione.

"All three of you drink one drop, then run, and stop when you feel safe!"

"This is Felix Felicis!"

Without hesitation, Hermione fed the baby a drop first, then Ginny, and finally herself.

"Be careful, Ike, I'm going to find Mr. Weasley and the others!" With that, Hermione used magic to make the boy fly, and then grabbed Ginny and ran off in one direction.

Deep down, she felt that it was the right direction.

Ike didn't turn around. The white-hooded men who had scattered and fled earlier had returned, along with many more masked figures, two or three times the number of the previous ones.

Once the giant hand lost Ike's control, it lost much of its power and was easily dispersed by spells. However, the falling rubble and dirt were still enough to give the group a hard time. Unfortunately, because of the Quidditch World Cup, the Ministry of Magic had placed anti-Apparition Charms around the camp, leaving them to run on foot, making them look quite disheveled.

"Damn brat!"

"Kill him!"

Angry shouts rose and fell, but Ike concealed the silver shield in front of him, remained silent, and swung his wand sharply, sending a raging inferno sweeping forward.

Then, after casting a Disillusionment Charm, he made his escape in the direction Hermione had gone.

He's not stupid. Taking on three or five people at once is no problem for him, taking on seven or ten is a bit troublesome, but taking on dozens? Who can withstand that!

The white-hooded figures were clearly organized; they waved their wands in unison, and flashes of light quickly dispersed the flames. But then they realized that the wretched boy had vanished without a trace.

"Damn it! I have to kill him!" said a man in a white hood.

"Don't be impulsive, he's not our target," another person in a white hood replied in a deep voice.

He seemed to be in charge, and no one dared to contradict him.

"Hurry up, remember our plan, and don't get caught by the Ministry of Magic guys!" he said again, waving his hand, and the group of white-hooded people dispersed, leaving only the masked guys and some who were still confused behind.

"Who are these people?"

"Who knows?"

The masked men murmured among themselves for a while, then dispersed. They only wanted to cause some trouble and take advantage of the chaos; they wouldn't have come if the commotion hadn't been so great.

On the other side, sensing that the mark on Hermione's clothes had stopped, Ike also slowed down and removed the Disillusionment Charm.

Along the way, there were significantly fewer people with white hoods or masked faces; it was almost impossible to see anyone desperately fleeing anymore. Several Ao Luo men in leather jackets ran past them at lightning speed.

Ike recognized one of them as Rufus Scrimgeour, the director of Aurro’s office, who had previously made a brief appearance in the penthouse box.

"Go over there, it's safe there." A man named Aurora, who was following behind Scrimgeour, pointed in a direction to Ike, which was the spot where Hermione had stopped.

"Okay, be careful, gentlemen." Ike nodded, but the young Ao Luo didn't reply. He waved and followed.

They hadn't walked far when Ike spotted Hermione. The Felix Felicis was still very effective; they had arrived at what was probably the safest place without any trouble along the way.

Almost all the Hogwarts professors are here, along with some high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Magic.

"Are you alright?" Hermione saw Ike and ran over to him, hugging him tightly.

Gently stroking Hermione's hair, Ike replied, "It's nothing. After you left, I used a fire spell to block their view and then ran away."

Hearing Ike's words, Hermione immediately laughed and punched Ike's arm, making him grimace for a while.

"By the way, have you seen Harry and the others?"

"No," Ike replied. "They're not here?"

Hermione shook her head and said, "It was chaotic. Mr. Weasley, Bill, and Charlie went to stop the riot. We were originally going to go into the woods, but we were separated from the group of masked guys halfway there."

"They'll be fine. Fred and George are with them, aren't they?"

"Maybe..." Hermione was about to say something when a deafening roar suddenly came from the direction of the stadium, followed by a cacophony of voices.

A short while later, one of the Ao Luos ran back, looking extremely disheveled, with blood on his face.

He rushed inside and, upon seeing Fudge, shouted, "Minister, the mascot has been released! We need backup!"

"Mascots? All of them?" Upon receiving an affirmative answer, Fudge felt a wave of dizziness and nearly fainted.

The campsites next to the stadium mostly belonged to the participating teams from various countries, and each country had its own mascot. Some, like Veela and the Irish leprechaun, were harmless, while others were quite dangerous.

Originally, they should have left directly after being eliminated from their own country's team, and most of them did. However, some remained, including the most dangerous type—the Nigerian giant elephant.

Compared to elephants in zoos, they are much larger, with longer and thicker tusks. They are docile, highly resistant to most forms of magic, and have virtually no natural enemies. However, when startled or attacked, their massive bodies, nearly ten meters long, and their thick tusks are enough to make any attacker pay a heavy price.

Because there have been no records of Nigerian elephant attacks for nearly a century, and its enormous size makes it difficult to transport, it has remained here. Just a few days ago, many people went to take photos with it. But then, the attackers released it; that deafening roar was from it.

"We have to stop this!" Fudge, having calmed down a bit, said to Aoruo, who had come to deliver the message. "Take me there, and together we'll calm this chaos down!"

"Yes, Minister!" Ao Luo was very excited and led Fuji and the others toward the giant elephant.

They hadn't gone far when a huge green skull suddenly appeared in the air. A large python slowly crawled out of the skull's mouth, displaying its long body.

This time, Minister Fouché couldn't hold back any longer. If a woman in a pink wool coat hadn't helped him up, he probably would have fainted.

Everyone stared in astonishment at the enormous skull and python in the air, and a feeling of fear quietly spread through them.

"That...that's...impossible!" Someone broke down, their body trembling uncontrollably.

"The Dark Mark! Impossible! They're all in Azkaban!"

"Who would joke like that!"

"Unforgivable!"

Fudge became somewhat hysterical, his previous composure completely gone. But no one would laugh at him; anyone who had lived through that dark period knew the significance of the Dark Mark.

"I'll personally send him to Azkaban! I'll give him a Dementor's kiss!" Fudge shouted, and strode ahead towards the location of the Dark Mark.

As for the Nigerian giant elephant? It's nowhere near as important as the Black Mark!

As Ike, who was naturally gripping his left arm, watched this scene, a hint of sarcasm unconsciously appearing on his lips.

"Ha, politicians..."
