Magical Studies at Hogwarts...
Chapter 14 I understand
Chapter 14 I understand
Hogwarts is like a sieve; it has no secrets at all.
As soon as Harry, Gryffindor, and I entered the common room, we were greeted with praise and cheers from the entire Gryffindor community. The Weasley twins, in particular, set off magical fireworks they had somehow acquired and bowed to us in exaggerated and comical gestures.
The title of "Troll Slayer" was thus bestowed upon Harry, Harry, and his two companions.
Ron was extremely pleased with himself.
Meanwhile, Ike is facing a joint interrogation by Stewart and Terry in his dorm room.
"Ike, you're the one who defeated the troll, aren't you?" Stuart tied Ike to a chair, took off one of Ike's shoes, and held a quill pen as if to scratch him.
"Speak up! Confess and you'll be treated leniently, resist and you'll be punished severely! You know the consequences of hiding it!" Terry held up a huge breadstick, which he had just taken from the dining table in the common room; it was still steaming hot.
"I'll talk! I'll talk! I'll talk!" Ike feigned fear. "It was me! It was me! It was me!"
"Tch, you're so indecisive." Terry took a bite of his breadstick and plopped down on the bed.
"Yeah, it's really boring," Stuart added.
Ike twitched his fingers, and the ropes binding him untied themselves and flew into the corner. Stuart and Terry were already used to this.
They knew perfectly well that Ike was just playing along with them.
"So, you've learned the Disillusionment Charm?" Stuart asked.
"No, not at all." Ike shook his head. His useless notebook system didn't have the Disillusionment Charm. "But I think it'll be soon."
As he spoke, Ike took out his wand and cast a Disillusionment Charm on himself. In Stuart and Terry's eyes, Ike's outline could still be faintly seen.
"It's just that the underground corridor is quite dark, and I was standing in the shadows the whole time, so I wasn't discovered." Ike dispelled the Disillusionment Charm and shrugged. "However, I don't know if I managed to hide it from the professors. Maybe they were too busy rescuing people to notice."
Who knows?
Terry broke off half a breadstick and handed it to Ike. After watching Ike take a bite, he said, "I don't think you've noticed, otherwise you wouldn't be eating bread so leisurely in your dorm."
"I hope so," Ike muttered. Although Ike had run back to the dormitory via another route as soon as he was sure the troll was completely unconscious, with such a big incident, the professors would definitely check the scene and might find some clues.
Ike had never learned how to fake a crime scene or erase evidence.
As for Harry and the others, Ike wasn't worried; Hermione would definitely help.
This is an unspoken understanding among intelligent people.
As Ike predicted, otherwise it wouldn't have been Harry and his two friends who earned the title of "Troll Slayer."
That's right, Ravenclaw found out too!
Hogwarts is a real sieve!
In the days that followed, wherever Harry and his friends went, they heard cheers like "Troll Slayer" and "Brave Potter." Watching the three of them being overwhelmed by the enthusiastic onlookers, Ike, who was quietly reading a book to the side, swore that he felt absolutely no schadenfreude.
And that's what he said to Hermione when she stormed in angrily.
"Silence!" Mrs. Pince didn't even look up, but her voice boomed in Hermione's ears, startling the little witch so much that she quickly covered her mouth and glared fiercely at Ike.
"Don't you have anything to say to me?" The quill pen made a "rustling" sound on the notebook. Ike glanced at it, and then silently enveloped the two of them.
"Alright, now you can talk." Ike closed the book. "Don't worry, the people outside can't hear what we're saying, but they can see us."
The little witch withdrew her right hand, which she had been about to strike, and carefully looked around. Seeing that it was indeed as Ike had said, she felt relieved.
"What exactly are you planning, Ike?"
"I don't have any plans." Ike shook his head. "I just heard about a giant monster and accidentally discovered two sneaky guys sneaking off from the main group. I'm just a little curious."
"Curious? Come on, Ike! You think I'll believe your nonsense?" Hermione stared intently at Ike, her eyes filled with a scrutinizing look as if he were mocking her.
Ike shrugged. "That's just how it is. Otherwise, do you think I could have predicted it? If I hadn't heard your scream, I wouldn't have known you were hiding in the toilet."
Hermione looked at Ike, who seemed relaxed but was actually fearless, and felt a surge of anger, but she didn't press the matter further.
Unlike the lion cubs, the Ravenclaws are much more discreet.
"Fine, if you don't want to tell me, then don't. I don't need to know anyway." Hermione huffed, picked up her books, tossed her hair, and left the library.
Ike watched Hermione leave, shaking his head helplessly. Perhaps accustomed to the unspoken understanding between adults, he felt somewhat uneasy about Hermione's inquisitive nature.
Now, no matter what class Ike is in, the professors will never call on him to answer questions, as if the professors are deliberately ignoring Ike when asking questions.
Clearly, the professors already know.
Title: Flitwick's Pride
(Yes, I know you're the one who defeated the giant!)
I have to say, the garbage system does have some use...
As the first Quidditch match approached, the young wizards' attention quickly shifted from the trolls to the upcoming game.
As the so-called "wizards' favorite sport," Quidditch's appeal is unparalleled, captivating countless people. At Hogwarts, it not only determines the ownership of the House Cup to a certain extent, but is also an important way for houses to resolve conflicts.
That's right, the latter only applies to the Lion vs. Snake battle.
Whenever Gryffindor clashed with Slytherin, the match was always extremely intense.
This is not a description, but a statement.
The record of an average of five team members being hospitalized per match is unmatched by any magic academy in the world.
The fervor wasn't limited to the players on the court; the fans were just as enthusiastic, and large-scale brawls between the two houses would erupt after every game, almost becoming a tradition.
Teeth-stick games, slug-eating games, Tarantella dances—all sorts of pranks and spells flew around the venue, creating an extremely chaotic scene.
Of course, no one would go too far. Even the professors would only step in to stop the situation when it was about to get out of control. At that moment, the warriors from both academies would stop attacking in perfect unison and rush back to their respective lounges.
"It's just students playing around." This is what an unknown, aloof professor said after Slaterlin's decisive victory over Gryffindor.
Ekko had no intention of watching the game, and Stuart and Terry just shouted once, then ignored him when he didn't respond.
After spending more than two months together, the eaglets had already figured out each other's temperaments and habits. And being "smart" as they were, they naturally wouldn't want to make a fool of themselves.
Ike was happy to do so. After everyone left, he cast a Disillusionment Charm on himself, granting him 99% experience points. He quietly approached the portrait of the troll beating up Barnabas, walked past the wall three times, and a smooth door appeared before him.
Pushing open the door, you enter a spacious room with only three mannequins in the center.
Ike took out his wand, faced the dummy, and drew an arc in the air with the wand, shouting.
"Thunderous explosion!"
A beam of red light shot out from the tip of the staff and struck the dummy directly. With a loud "bang," the dummy in the center exploded, and the dummies on both sides were also impacted, missing limbs and broken.
Ike closed his eyes, feeling the magic flowing through his body. When he opened them again, another line of small words appeared before him.
Explosion Charm Lv1, learned!
