Chapter 21 - Let me rub it for you

Half an hour later, Qian Lingyun opened her tightly closed eyes, a sharp glint flashing in her dark red pupils.

She slowly exhaled a breath of stale air, stood up, and looked at the soul rings that were floating around her. After thinking it over, she felt that it would be a waste to just let them dissipate like that. She thought it would be better to make use of them and create soul bones in some special way to exchange for some pocket money.

The so-called special method is to kill one hundred of any kind of soul beast within half an hour, use a secret technique to activate their soul rings, and then there is a ten percent chance of obtaining a secret technique soul bone.

A rough estimate of the surrounding spirit rings revealed a plethora of white, yellow, and purple ones, but only one black one.

If there's a 100% chance of getting a spirit ring according to probability theory, then there's about a one-third chance of getting three hundred spirit rings.

Thinking it over, Qian Lingyun used the Rakshasa God's position to naturally attract resentment and death energy, drawing all the soul rings from all directions to her vicinity.

Her slender fingers glided across each spirit ring, like a pianist playing a beautiful melody on an instrument. Under the resonance of the spirit rings, the air around Qian Lingyun began to thicken.

The boundaries between the hundred spirit rings began to blur, they gradually merged together, and then... they were gone.

Qian Lingyun stood there blankly for a while, then sighed with some disappointment, "As expected, the external soul bone used up all my good luck! The drop rate for these secret soul bones is really low!"

That's what she said, but Qian Lingyun was still not discouraged. She turned to other spirit rings and tried to pull them together again according to the original procedure, but... the result was still failure.

This time, even the black ten-thousand-year soul ring disappeared during the fusion process.

Looking down at the remaining spirit rings, a hint of disappointment flashed in Qian Lingyun's eyes. She was too lazy to count them one by one, so she simply gathered all the remaining hundred or so spirit rings together and called it a day.

This time, she turned her head away, intending to leave, when the thud of a heavy object hitting the ground caught her attention. Looking back, she saw a dark red light flashing on the ground without warning, slowly floating in mid-air under Qian Lingyun's astonished gaze.

It was a small piece of bone, resembling a wrench but only the length of a pencil, emitting a faint, dark red glow. Qian Lingyun subconsciously licked her lips, surprised, and asked, "What is this? A backup plan after two failures?"

Despite saying that, Qian Lingyun still obediently put the secret soul bone into her storage soul tool.

As she turned around, Qian Lingyun heard Qian Renxue's hissing sound as she gasped for breath. Looking in the direction of the sound, she saw Qian Renxue raising her beautiful eyebrows and marveling at the scattered limbs and broken bodies on the ground.

"My God...did you wipe out the entire baboon family?" Qian Renxue carefully stepped over the wreckage, complaining, "And...did you chop it a bit too many pieces?"

"Heh!" Qian Lingyun chuckled self-deprecatingly, pointing to the dried and hardened bloodstains on her body, and said sarcastically, "If my sister hadn't left me under that lion's belly, how could I have such a strong odor that attracted an entire tribe to surround and attack me!"

"Heh..." Knowing she was in the wrong, Qian Renxue's lips twitched slightly. She said somewhat embarrassedly in a low voice, "It was my oversight. How about... I go find a water source and help you wash up?"

At this point, a hint of apology flashed across Qian Renxue's face. She coughed lightly a few times to cover up her embarrassment.

"That's more like it!" Qian Lingyun said generously, lifting up the ring and putting the corpses of the three ten-thousand-year-old soul beasts inside.

After walking along the plain for about an hour, the two finally arrived at a water source located in the middle of a woodland.

As they entered the woods, the shimmering surface of the water came into view; in terms of size alone, it could easily be called a small lake. Lush aquatic plants grew along the banks.

"Go wash up! I'll keep an eye on things for you," Qian Renxue said, sitting by the lake with the Angelic Holy Sword in her hand. She took off her boots and idly splashed water with her fair feet.

Compared to Qian Renxue's elegance, Qian Lingyun seemed a bit wilder. The sticky and disgusting blood clots on her body were driving her crazy, and she almost lost control the moment she saw Xiaohu.

She broke free from Qian Renxue's hand and leaped into the lake, creating ripples on the calm surface.

"This child..." Qian Renxue shook her head and sighed, feeling a mix of emotions.

Before long, Qian Lingyun slowly poked her head out of the water and leisurely swam to the shore, where she took off her wet clothes one by one in front of her.

Qian Renxue only saw the seaweed-like purple hair, aided by water droplets, cascading tightly from Qian Lingyun's butterfly bones, with streams of clear water flowing down her smooth, tender skin along her soft curves.

Especially the instantly narrowed, slender waist and the downward-curving, perky shape, all exude an alluring and captivating beauty.

"Hey, is it really that good-looking?" Qian Lingyun asked reproachfully, seemingly feeling Qian Renxue's staring gaze.

"Ahem..." Qian Renxue coughed awkwardly twice, then sneered insincerely, "What's so interesting about a twelve-year-old girl who's only half-developed? I wouldn't even look at you!"

"Ha, but I didn't see you look away!" Qian Lingyun retorted, not to be outdone!

"You," Qian Renxue said, completely unaware that her cheeks were already flushed, still sarcastically remarking that Qian Lingyun was an undeveloped flat-chested girl...

"You're the one with a flat chest!"

Feeling humiliated and enraged, Qian Lingyun grabbed Qian Renxue's legs and pulled her backward. With a splash, Qian Renxue was dragged into the water by this petty little rascal.

After choking on a couple of mouthfuls of water, Qian Renxue raised her hand and gave Qian Lingyun a sharp rap on the forehead, angrily saying, "You little brat, don't you have any manners?!"

"How could that be! How could I dare to be disrespectful! I just thought the sun was too scorching, so I let you come down to cool off," Qian Lingyun said sarcastically, sticking out her tongue with a big bump on her forehead.

Hmph! My Rakshasa divine armor and soul are fused with those of the former Pope. If we're really talking about seniority, you'd have to call me…

And so, Qian Lingyun, lost in her own wild imagination of how she could be so domineering, stared blankly into space, not paying any attention to what Qian Renxue was saying.

All my words can be summed up in seven characters: I was wrong, but I'll do it again next time!

Finally, having resigned herself to the reality of falling into the water, Qian Renxue thought, "Since I'm already in here, I might as well take a shower..."

Click!

Underwater, Qian Renxue unbuttoned her inner garment, then bent down to remove her other clothes. While undoing her intricate hair ornaments, she took out a smooth silk handkerchief, moved closer to Qian Lingyun, and said softly, "Help me rub it!"

"Ah..." Qian Lingyun tremblingly took the silk handkerchief from Qian Renxue, biting her lip tightly, suppressing the shyness and timidity in her heart, and gently slid the handkerchief across Qian Renxue's smooth, jade-like back...

About fifteen minutes later, Qian Renxue turned around and took the silk handkerchief from Qian Lingyun's hand, smiling brightly as she said, "Turn around too, let me rub it for you..."
