Konoha: I, Uchiha, am brimming with positive energy

Chapter 8 Tsunade needs to investigate

Chapter 8: Tsunade Needs to Investigate (Please Read On)

"Lady Tsunade, we've found out. There really was a crazed wild boar in the Forest of Death this morning. It broke through the northwest corner of the protective fence and destroyed fields and the village chief's house in a village near Konoha."

"Later, the village chief came to Konoha and issued a commission to eliminate the wild boars. After investigation, the mission team determined it to be a C-rank mission, and at 9:30 a.m., he was picked up by Uchiha Yoichi of the Uchiha clan."

"Uchiha Yoichi has now completed his mission. The boar's carcass has been taken away by the client, and he has just arrived in Konoha to submit his mission completion report."

"This is the information about Uchiha Yoichi that the Anbu have gathered, Lady Tsunade."

The ANBU recounted in detail what Tsunade wanted to investigate, but when he reported the boar's madness, he didn't notice the anger on Tsunade's face when she bit her hand.

What wild boar acting crazy? She's just trying to escape!

"Hey, Tsunade, it's rare to see you not drinking this early in the morning. So you're here researching wild boars!"

A smug tone rang out, giving Tsunade an outlet for her pent-up anger.

Tsunade reached out and slammed the nearly two-meter-tall Jiraiya against the wall. With a loud bang, the wall shattered into countless cracks centered on Jiraiya's humanoid form.

"Jiraiya, besides you, what other ninjutsu can turn other people into animals? Also, where were you last night?"

"Tsunade, what's wrong? I was just joking with you."

When Jiraiya saw Tsunade clench her fist and make a crisp sound, he immediately recalled the time he was close to death, so he quickly waved his hand to answer her question.

"I was with Minato last night. He created a ninjutsu that's pretty powerful, and Minato plans to teach it to me."

"As for the Frog Transformation Technique you mentioned, I'm probably the only one who knows it. It's a ninjutsu from Mount Myōboku; no one else knows it."

Upon hearing this, Tsunade knew that Jiraiya wouldn't dare to lie to her, and clicked her tongue in frustration.

Having been toyed with like this and almost dying, Tsunade would definitely not be willing to accept it if she were told that nothing had happened.

But this kind of thing sounds out of the ordinary rules of ninjas. Although Tsunade's strength may not be considered among the top three in Konoha, she is still among the top in Konoha. Who could silently put her consciousness into the body of a wild boar?

Even forbidden techniques like Spirit Transformation wouldn't be able to do that.

"Tsunade, what's wrong?"

"None of your business!"

Tsunade snorted coldly, then turned and left, intending to ask the Third Hokage.

The ninjutsu that allows a person's consciousness to be implanted into an animal's body—perhaps her teacher, the Ninjutsu Doctor, would know a little about it. There's also something else that Tsunade is somewhat concerned about.

That's that Uchiha brat!

Although the beating she received during the mission wasn't entirely the fault of that Uchiha brat, Tsunade still couldn't let go of the resentment; she also remembered vaguely hearing about superpowers and the Lightning Release Chakra Mode.

The Anbu had just given her information on Uchiha Yoichi, and Tsunade planned to ask the Third Hokage about it as well.

----------------

After completing the C-rank mission, Uchiha Yoichi headed towards Aokawa Town in the southern part of the Land of Fire.

The journey is quite long; at Uchiha Yoichi's normal travel speed, it would take about half a day.

Many ninjas couldn't stand the monotony and constant fighting, and quite a few chose to leave the ninja village or defect. However, these ninjas had no other skills besides killing.

After leaving the ninja village, they could only rely on force to plunder wealth and achieve their own enjoyment.

This B-rank mission was a commission issued by a chamber of commerce in Qingchuan Town. A violent gang supported by ninjas had robbed him of his property, threatening his business.

However, his own samurai were ineffective, so he had no choice but to issue missions to the Hidden Leaf Village.

Not long after Uchiha Yoichi left Konoha, he removed his headband and changed his clothes.

The Konoha headband is both a deterrent and a danger. At his age, if he were to expose the Konoha ninja and the Uchiha clan, he might face even greater danger.

Upon arriving in Aoki Town, Uchiha Yoichi approached his employer to learn about the mission. He used his transformation technique to appear fierce, immediately allaying the employer's concerns that he was alone, and revealed all the information he knew.

After hearing this, Uchiha Yangyi said, "Wait for news," and then left.

Afterwards, he gathered some more information on his own, and even took the opportunity to use illusion magic to control the ninja's two subordinates and ask them for some information.

Although Uchiha Yoichi did not specialize in genjutsu, after awakening his Sharingan, the clan would give him two Sharingan genjutsu: one offensive and the other defensive genjutsu, Mirror Heaven Revolving Earth.

His illusion techniques were so-so, but he was still good at dealing with ordinary people, so he managed to get enough information out of them: the other party was a rogue ninja from Kusagakure, Akutagawa Jiro.

Uchiha Yoichi did not underestimate the ninja world; those who were careless here all died.

After confirming that Akutagawa Jiro's strength was average, Uchiha Yoichi secretly approached him and found an opportunity. He first used his shuriken to block all of Akutagawa Jiro's escape routes, and then used a great fireball to burn Akutagawa Jiro and his two subordinates to death.

"That's right. It's that wild boar that's special, not that my shuriken throwing technique is trash."

Uchiha Yoichi said with satisfaction, "His shuriken just now could be described as an inescapable net."

Dealing with a rogue ninja from the Grass Village isn't difficult. After being away from the village for so long and indulging in pleasure, it's hard to know how much strength he still has. The mission description mentions a possible B-rank mission, which is probably because this rogue Grass Village ninja used some intimidating ninjutsu.

Uchiha Yoichi searched Akutagawa Jiro's base and found a box containing money. In addition to several hundred thousand ryo, there was also a well-preserved ninjutsu scroll.

"As expected, it's Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique. I've heard that the Grass Ninja are good at imitating the ninjutsu of other ninja villages. Isn't this just a poor version of the Uchiha Great Fireball Technique?"

This ninjutsu isn't worth practicing. When it comes to fire-style ninjutsu, no clan or even village in the ninja world can compare to the Uchiha clan.

So Uchiha Yang breathed out a ball of fire, which destroyed the ninjutsu scroll. Taking it back and handing it in wouldn't earn him any reward.

After dealing with Jiro Akutagawa and cleaning up, Yoichi Uchiha returned to his employer and informed him that the mission was complete. However, Yoichi told his employer to wait half a month before submitting the mission completion report to Konoha.

This way, Uchiha Yoichi can stay outside for another half month, which is enough time for him to travel around properly.

Having been in the ninja world for over a year, I spent the first six months frantically practicing ninjutsu, fearing I'd be killed on the battlefield; the next six months were spent getting used to ninja life, but my career path has been quite bumpy, and I'm still being accused of deliberately taking advantage of my teammates.

Konoha Village isn't as wonderful as Hashirama Senju described. What kind of village is this, just a large family? It's only been established for a few decades, and it's already starting to decay.
