Konoha: I, Uchiha, am brimming with positive energy

Chapter 19 Hiruzen, Leave it to me (Please continue reading)

"Was your mouth injured by Lady Tsunade earlier?"

When Kakashi saw Uchiha Yoichi approaching wearing a metal mask, he immediately made a sarcastic remark with a blank expression.

[This feels like they're imitating me? And isn't it uncomfortable to wear a metal mask on your face? How do you breathe?]

Uchiha Yoichi rolled his eyes. If he could speak now, he wouldn't have let even a six-year-old child go.

"I don't feel uncomfortable at all. I've already taken care of my breathing. It's getting late, let's begin our cultivation!"

When Kakashi saw the note written by Uchiha Yoichi, he immediately felt that everything he was thinking had been guessed, and he looked at him with some suspicion.

However, since the employer made the request, he had no choice but to comply.

Kakashi then drew a ninja sword from his back. As soon as Kakashi drew it, a sharp hissing sound and white light appeared on the blade.

"I'm using the swordsmanship my father taught me, which primarily utilizes wind-style chakra. Please be careful."

The cutting power of Wind Release and the movement speed of Lightning Release are the core of White Fang Sword Technique.

Kakashi trained with his father from a young age and reached the strength of a genin by the age of five. It's impossible that he didn't learn his father's swordsmanship.

However, Kakashi is facing his employer, not his enemy, so even if he uses the White Fang Sword Technique, it's mainly for sparring, since the cutting power of Wind Release chakra cannot be too high.

Kakashi quickly arrived in front of Uchiha Yoichi, bent down slightly, and thrust his sword forward.

The sharp, cutting aura was like a fierce wind, and Uchiha Yoichi immediately raised his sword to block it.

With a clang, the two ninja swords clashed, sparks flying.

Kakashi remained calm, drawing his sword to parry. Although Uchiha Yoichi only had a one-tomoe Sharingan, his perception was still stronger than Kakashi's. Faint lightning crackled around his sword as he blocked the attack once more.

One strike, one block.

The pace of their attack and defense quickened, until their arms were almost invisible.

Uchiha Yoichi was also gradually becoming more proficient in swordsmanship. Kakashi's attack angles were becoming increasingly tricky. Sometimes, he could see Kakashi's sword-wielding movements clearly, but because of the angle, it was very difficult to block them.

More than an hour later, the two stopped to rest.

Uchiha Yoichi was also recalling his memories of training just now. He felt that he had become more proficient at wielding his sword. If he continued to train in this way, his progress would definitely be rapid.

"Simply practicing like this isn't enough. When my father was training me in swordsmanship, he used many different schools of swordsmanship to train me, as well as ninjutsu and other methods."

After Kakashi finished drinking the water, he put on his mask, turned around, and said to Uchiha Yoichi.

"I'll be taking on some missions outside the village soon; ninjas gain the most memorable experience through actual combat."

After hearing this, Kakashi thought for a moment and then said, "Can you take me with you? We can form a two-person team and take on B-rank missions too."

Uchiha Yoichi replied, "Even without a team, I can take on B-rank missions. And why did you come to me? Haven't you heard the rumors in the village?"

"A ninja should rely on his own judgment. You don't seem like the kind of person who would betray his teammates; that would do you no good."

Kakashi paused for a moment, then turned his head and continued, "Besides, there are no teams available right now, and I don't have much mission experience. If I don't team up, I'm lucky if I can get a simple C-rank mission."

To ensure the success rate of missions, Konoha does not assign missions randomly. In theory, a genin can receive a C-rank mission, but an individual can only accept a D-rank mission.

Similarly, the same applies to Chunin.

Kakashi is a Chunin, and his strength is up to par, but he is only six years old. He graduated last year and became a Genin, so he doesn't have much mission experience. Most of his missions are D-rank, so he can't take on B-rank missions at all.

He had heard that Uchiha Yoichi had completed several B-rank missions, and after spending a few days with him, he didn't think that Yoichi was the kind of person who would use his teammates to complete missions, which is why he made this suggestion.

"Let's talk about it later. Even if we have to do a mission, it won't be for another two weeks."

After thinking about it for a moment, Uchiha Yoichi realized that Kakashi's strength was not weak either, much stronger than his previous genin teammates.

"If we're going to team up, I have to be the leader, and everyone has to listen to me during the mission."

Kakashi replied, "Of course, I have no experience leading a team either."

----------------

"Hiruzen, why didn't you tell me that someone from the Uchiha clan obtained the secret ninjutsu of Kumogakure?"

Inside the Hokage's office, a man with his right eye bandaged and leaning on a cane questioned Hiruzen Sarutobi.

"Danzo was just Tsunade's guess before, but it was confirmed a few days ago."

Hiruzen Sarutobi put down his pipe and said to Danzo expressionlessly, "Tsunade asked me about it two days ago before telling me. Besides, Uchiha Yoichi got it himself. What can he say?"

Danzo's old teammate knew exactly what he was thinking; however, Konoha Village did not have the custom of forcing ninjas to hand over their ninjutsu. There were quite a few clans that used secret techniques. If you set this precedent, wouldn't other ninja clans have something to say about it?

"That's Hiruzen, a secret ninjutsu technique from the Hidden Cloud Village. If Root could obtain it, they could cultivate a batch of the sharpest blades, which would be able to eliminate many enemies for Konoha!"

Danzo knew what Hiruzen Sarutobi was worried about, but the other party was an Uchiha brat, and his reputation in the village wasn't very good.

Furthermore, the Lightning Release Chakra Mode is truly precious. It is the Raikage's signature ninjutsu, and only a small number of Cloud Ninja practice this ninjutsu; probably no more than thirty.

"If you're unwilling to speak, then let me give it a try. After all, it's just Uchiha Hiruzen. Konoha has quite a few lightning-style ninjas, but what they lack are ninjutsu!"

Upon hearing Danzo's words, Hiruzen Sarutobi fell silent for a moment. After a while, he lit his pipe again, took a puff, and said to Danzo...

"Danzo, be careful with your methods. The Uchiha clan has been behaving themselves lately, so don't go too far."

"Hmph, Hiruzen, have you forgotten why our teacher limited the Uchiha clan to the police force? Fugaku Uchiha's ideas are something that En and Koharu will never agree to!"

Danzo finished speaking in a cold voice, then turned and walked out of the Hokage's office.

"I am the one most capable of inheriting the master's will. It was only because you were one step ahead of me that the master made the mistake of choosing you as Hokage!"

Upon returning to the Root base, Danzo immediately said to those around him, "Summon Ryuma to see me."

A short while later, a Root ninja appeared before Danzo. Upon seeing Ryuma Aburame, Danzo immediately ordered, "Ryuma, Uchiha Yoichi of the Uchiha clan has obtained the Lightning Release Chakra Mode. Go and ask him if he is willing to contribute this ninjutsu."

"Sir, what if he refuses?"

"If he's unwilling, then he'll have to face the cruelty of the ninja world!"

Please vote! I slightly revised the previous chapter. Tsunade and the protagonist had a brief encounter due to a misunderstanding, and then Tsunade gave up.
