Chapter 955 Giant Insect

Sure enough, someone was still following me.

Thor thought to himself.

They must be from the Stargate Council.

As for why they only follow without showing up, they are probably waiting for someone of greater influence to appear.

Thor didn't make anything clear and simply followed Jeffrey away.

For some reason, Jeffrey was quite enthusiastic in front of Saul, and even offered to rent the same villa with Saul during the registration period.

Thor only said he would consider it.

The two rode in a public carriage into the capital of the Principality of Olga.

Saul sat by the window of the carriage, his eyes scanning the street.

Jeffrey, standing nearby, assumed that Thor had just come from the continent of State and was curious about the environment and things here.

"Orga isn't the strongest nation, but because it's close to the Stargazing Tower, the security here has always been good, and many wizard apprentices want to settle here." Jeffrey didn't look at the scenery and pedestrians on both sides of the street.

He kept staring intently at the distant observatory.

"However, the academic environment here is nothing compared to that inside the Star Observatory. Therefore, entering the Star Observatory is the ultimate dream of all wizards."

Thor had been watching to see if anyone had red worms crawling on them. But after hearing Jeffrey's longing to join the Stargate Council, he finally gave in and looked at the observatory directly ahead of the road.

The white observatory is not close to Olga, but because of its astonishing height, it appears to stand at the end of the street, even from a distance.

The tower has a certain width at the top and bottom, but a slender waist with a certain curve, making it look like a graceful young woman at first glance.

"The person who built this tower certainly had taste," Thor said with a smile.

But before the smile could fully take shape, it froze on her face.

He saw a red glint slowly emerge from behind the observatory's waist, first revealing a head with only a mouthpart.

Then, the layers of fat on his body contracted and expanded, revealing more of his body to Thor.

After climbing for a while, it seemed to get tired, and its head and torso clung tightly to the waist of the observatory.

"How can it be... so big?" Thor stared in disbelief.

"It's huge." Jeffrey had no idea what Thor was talking about and assumed Thor was referring to the Stargate Tower. "That's the headquarters of the Stargate Council. They say there are over three hundred official wizards residing there. Could they manage without a place this big?"

Thor's brow furrowed slightly.

He actually saw a red worm about 100 meters long outside the observatory. The thickest part of the red worm was almost as thick as the waist of the observatory.

But how come no one cares about such a huge thing hanging on the observatory?

Thor even suspected that the little red worm that ate Wizard Ole was a descendant of the giant red worm in front of him.

Most importantly, the Stargate Council's headquarters has been taken over by the Red Worms, so how many members of the Stargate Council are still alive?

If Byron really came here, did he find any red worms, or was he attacked by them?

"I have to go now," Thor suddenly said, bidding farewell to Jeffrey, who was enthusiastically praising the observatory, and jumped out of the public carriage window.

"Huh? Huh?" Jeffrey didn't know why Thor had suddenly left. He leaned out of the car window and looked around several times, but couldn't find any trace of Thor. It seemed that he had vanished after jumping out of the window.

Suoran hurried through the streets, constantly using the Fate Line to sense Byron's location. He could sense that Byron was still alive, but he couldn't pinpoint his exact location.

Either Byron was very far from Thor at this time, or he was being hidden away.

Because Thor was looking for someone, he walked very fast, getting closer and closer to the observatory.

After walking through most of the city, he suddenly and clearly sensed another person's destiny.

That was Agu, who came to Iskepar with Byron.

"Agu should have been following his senior the whole time. Now he's alone. Could it be that his senior has really run into some trouble?"

Thor vanished, only to reappear a second later in the backyard of a hotel.

He saw Agu writing something with his back to him.

"Ahem." Thor coughed lightly twice on purpose.

"Who?"

Agu roared and turned around, destroying what he had just written as he did so. However, upon seeing that it was Thor, Agu's face lit up with surprise.

"Master! What brings you here?"

"Chief Radiant invited me here. After that, I thought I'd come and see you. But..." Thor turned his head to look at what Agu was holding, "Your current situation doesn't seem to be very good."

Agu noticed Thor's gaze and quickly showed Thor what he had written down.

"The wizard Byron has been taken away. He told me not to reveal my identity, so I've been hiding in different hotels, avoiding their eyes and ears. I was thinking about how to get the message to you, but I didn't expect you to come here now."

After the initial surprise, Agu also breathed a sigh of relief. He had been on edge for the past few days and had had a very difficult time.

"What happened? How did Byron get taken away? When did it happen?"

Upon receiving Agu's notes, Saul noticed they contained address descriptions. The information was written very discreetly; someone unaware of the details might assume Agu was recording shop addresses.

Having anticipated Byron's situation, Saul remained calm, pulled out a chair, and sat down to recount the events with Agu.

Agu slowly recounted his experiences with Byron during this time.

It turns out that after Byron and Agu arrived on the continent of Iskeper, they did not rush to the Stargate Council headquarters, but instead toured around the various principalities of the continent before finally heading to the port city where Corey was located.

But after a short time there, one day Byron suddenly and hastily asked Agu to leave with him.

Agu was unaware of what had happened; he simply followed Byron to the Stargate Council headquarters. It turned out they were being followed, so Byron and Agu decided to split up and reunite in the Principality of Olga.

Because after they separated, each of them had their own methods to evade pursuers, which actually made their escape easier.

They later met in the Principality of Olga, but as soon as they arrived at the agreed meeting place, a group of people suddenly appeared and surrounded Byron.

As Byron had instructed, Agu was not to approach him if anything happened to him, and should pretend not to know him or be familiar with him. Agu did as agreed at the time.

When he tried to approach the agreed location again, he found that Byron was no longer there and had not left any clues to guide him.

So Agu could only wander around the city, trying to find Byron and recording any places he thought were unusual.

Fortunately, Agu is essentially a spirit, so he has almost no cost to survive. Otherwise, it would be very difficult for him to live quietly in the city without attracting the attention of other forces.

"Byron the wizard said he seemed to see something in Corey the wizard and Ole the wizard. But he couldn't be completely sure, so he decided to go directly to the Stargate Council headquarters."
