Chapter 915 The Secret of the Diary

After leaving the Lost Corridor, Thor gave Norton the square that represented the Lost Corridor.

Airo's gaze remained fixed on the square. He was still unsure of Norton's physical condition, but with two fourth-tier wizards remaining in the Stargate Council, Frim could not die.

Norton did nothing unnecessary. The three of them went to the Red Sea coast and embedded the square seal containing Frim into the defensive magic circle.

For the time being, Frim could not leave this place and could only transfer power to the defensive magic circle through the seal.

Norton withdrew after confirming that Flem would be unable to leave for decades, handing control of the place back to Elo.

Ailo stepped forward and tightly grasped the core of the defensive array that concerned the entire southeast coast, his mind filled with complex emotions.

"Even if Flim is kept locked up like this, he will eventually recover. At that time, I will no longer keep him locked up."

Norton's lips curled up, but he didn't look particularly happy. "I'm not going to concern myself with what happened back then."

By then, he was long gone, the Radiant Family had been handed over to Gorza, and it was unknown whether the Stargate Council still existed. Naturally, he couldn't control Frim.

Everything he did today was simply to give Gorsa and the Radiance a chance to continue.

Norton left quickly, and Elo looked at Thor.

Thor noticed the complex look in Airo's eyes and smiled. "You don't need to worry about me. I'm just protecting myself. I'm on the side of the Tribunal when it comes to the Black Tide. Although I was imprisoned a few days ago, I came up with a way to cultivate Midor. I'll go and discuss it with Royer."

Thor started to walk out, and then heard Elo say behind him, "Royer is still unconscious. He probably wouldn't dare to get out of bed if he saw you."

Thor stumbled, then pretended nothing was wrong and walked out.

He had momentarily forgotten that he had been forced to unleash his starry eyes to buy time, and the effect was so powerful that even he himself was stunned.

Fortunately, these stars obeyed his commands and returned when he told them to.

With that thought in mind, Thor teleported to Royer's side—he had previously placed a temporary displacement coordinate on Royer.

Then Thor saw Royer resting with his eyes closed, with a seven-colored eye in the center of his forehead, looking around erratically.

Upon seeing Thor, the seven-colored eyes seemed to shrink back to Royer's forehead as if feeling guilty, leaving no trace on his skin.

Royer only then realized someone had entered his room. He quickly opened his eyes and saw that it was Thor, which made him somewhat embarrassed.

It's like that awkward situation where you make a tough statement and then get punched unconscious.

Although the Tribunal had not yet completely changed, it was already halfway to the top. Even Royer was unsure whether Emperor Aurora could withstand the combined forces of Thor and Norton.

After all, wizards are not a group whose strength is determined by numbers.

Thor informed Royer of the suggestion that should have been made by Midor, just as he had discussed the experiment with Royer in the Eternal Night Palace.

Royer, who was initially embarrassed, listened to Thor spout a bunch of witchcraft terms and formulas, and his thoughts were drawn to the Black Sea Tree experiment, temporarily forgetting about Lord Frim.

After the two sat in the room and discussed things with gestures for a while, Saul finally stood up again.

"I've told you all the details I could think of. When I go to the No Man's Land, if you have any new discoveries or questions, you can notify me using your Tribunal's summons system."

Royer then remembered that Thor was now one of the rebels who had overthrown Frim.

However, he also realized that Thor had no intention of staying in the Tribunal to enjoy the fruits of victory.

"Where... is Lord Frim?"

Thor shrugged. "Right now, he'll be focused on protecting the Red Sea, which isn't far from you. For details, you should ask Emperor Airo. I expect you two will be very busy during this time."

After explaining the matter concerning Midor, Thor finally had time to return to the abandoned castle where he had been imprisoned.

Claire and Byron, who had been staying there, quickly came out to greet them.

When Byron first saw Saul's skeletal form, he paused for a moment, then fell behind Claire.

"How is it?" Claire asked quickly.

"Things are calm for now, but we'll have to see what Emperor Airo does next. But it shouldn't concern us much anymore."

Byron listened quietly, and when Claire was about to ask another question, he gave her a look. Although he was also curious, he felt that Thor's current state wasn't exactly good.

Keli then changed the subject, "Should we go back first, or rest first?"

Thor fought recklessly, even losing his human form in the process. After some thought, he finally yielded to his two closest friends.

"You guys keep watch for me, I need to rest for a bit."

The two nodded repeatedly, letting Thor go inside the castle to rest, while they stayed outside the room, keeping an eye on the surroundings.

Thor stayed in the room and meditated for a day and a night to stabilize his mental state. He then slept for another day and a night and finally felt that his empty head was starting to grow a brain.

Once his body had fully recovered and he had returned to being the black-haired, gray-eyed boy, he took out the golden pages he had acquired several days ago to examine them.

This gold page is different from the ones Kismet gave him.

The other pages were the thickness of normal paper, but the pages from Flim were as thick as cardboard.

When Saul's fingers glide across the pages, a beautiful, iridescent light appears on the pages.

"Why did this golden page end up in Frim's hands? And why is it in the form of golden threads? What is the connection between these golden threads and the black lines extending from the white page?"

Thor looked at the well-behaved hardcover book in his hands. Every time he thought he had mastered the Death Wizard's Diary, he seemed to discover more secrets hidden within it.

Thor tried to activate the golden page using the same power he had used on the white page, but there was no response. It seemed it could only function as before. A scenario rehearsal was conducted when Thor faced a life-threatening situation.

"With such thick pages, if we encounter another crisis related to a fourth-tier wizard, could it provide more warnings?" That was the only guess he could make for the time being.

"That guy Kismet, does he always give me incomplete golden pages? No, that can't be right. The first golden page I got wasn't given to me willingly by him; I snatched it from him in my diary. So there must be other reasons for this thick golden page."

"What exactly is the difference?"

Thor tried several methods to activate other functions of the golden pages, but he could only watch the pages glow.

"Flim can see several names, but I can't see any at all. Should we go ask Flim how he did it?"

But after thinking it over, Thor gave up. If Frim knew how to change the pages, he wouldn't have hidden the golden thread at the very bottom of the Lost Corridor, preventing anyone from seeing it.

"Forget it, let's go back and look into it again. Or we can find an opportunity to ask Kismet; that guy knows a lot."
