Chapter 751 Visiting the Chaotic Region

Seeing how interested Claire was in the Kuroshio pollution, and considering the effort Byron had put into it, Thor made a decision.

"The Kuroshio contamination is a potential danger lurking beneath the feet of all of us. Although I can now treat some of those affected by the contamination, if the Kuroshio were to erupt on a large scale, even I myself would not escape death. That is why Byron and I have never given up on the inerting experiment."

Claire looked up from among the many books.

After learning about the history of No Man's Land, she couldn't help but feel worried.

Claire stood up in surprise. "Where is this? Can I go take a look?"

Thor then took out his Chaotic Realm Compass. "It's an unknown world side. My exploration of it is still limited, so for now I just call it the Chaotic Realm. As for what kind of place it is, I'll take you there to see for yourself."

Seeing that Claire and Byron were ready, Thor immediately activated the compass.

After a moment of dizziness, Thor landed on the ground.

As for Claire... she plopped down on the ground.

Knowing that the two had already begun their research, Thor did not disturb them and went to Noah's residence to the side.

A mental scan revealed that the place was deserted.

He found a letter written in Common Language in the room.

The letter was placed on a small box that looked like a piece of jade.

Saul opened the letter.

Unsurprisingly, the letter was left by his young apprentice, Noah.

The letter states that Noah, under his name, led the Stone Clan, including Scorpion, to annex the few other tribes in the vicinity.

The tribe that was re-established through the merger was named the Kuroshio Tribe.

Noah used the magical artifacts Thor gave him to create many tools. These tools were used for the Black Tide tribe's infrastructure, and people's lives gradually improved. As survival became easier, people had extra energy to do other things.

Noah ordered those who were free to go into the Black Death Desert to dig sand, and Noah would sift out the black powder and collect it to give to Thor.

The jade box beneath the letter contained the black powder Noah had collected during this time.

Noah also mentioned the skeletal monster in his mind.

It is said that the people here have long had legends about the skeleton monster, but no one has ever seen it with their own eyes.

When Thor appeared before them riding the skeletal monster that day, these people, without Noah's prompting, already recognized Thor as a god.

But Noah insisted that they call Thor "Death Judge" to avoid causing Thor any trouble later.

"Death Judge?" Thor's lips twitched. "That sounds awful."

Thor did not interfere much with Noah's actions.

He rarely comes here, and his understanding of this place is no longer as profound as Noah's.

Moreover, it would be difficult for a wizard apprentice to cause any major trouble in a world with almost no magic, leading a group of ordinary people.

However, it would be helpful to have them gather information about the skeletal monster.

Thor left a message for Noah and gave him some magic crystals again.

He then went out of Noah's house and saw that Byron and Clare had dug a large hole in the ground outside the house.

He walked to the front of the large hole and looked at Keli, who was squatting at the bottom of the hole.

"No need to rush, I'll leave this Chaotic Realm Compass to you. You and Byron can take turns using it. However, you can only come once a month."

"Why?" Keli suddenly looked up.

"Is it because there's a lack of magic here?" Byron had already discovered the biggest problem in this world.

Thor nodded. "A world lacking magic is a challenge for our bodies, which are used to magic. If we stay here for a long time when we are not strong enough, we will suffer many negative effects."

Thor took out a compass and tossed it to Byron. "This compass has a one-day cooldown period. It's best if you return as soon as the cooldown is over each time you come. This will minimize the impact on your health."

As soon as Thor finished speaking, Byron jumped to the bottom of the hole just like Claire.

Thor was taken aback. "You?"

Byron's voice came from the bottom of the cave.

"Alright." Thor stood up, arms crossed. "I'll go check on the bone lizard."

He abandoned the two research fanatics and went underground to check on the skeletal monster he had sealed away.

It seems that Thor hid his anchor points very well this time.

When he arrived at the underground sealing point, the skeletal monster inside did not react at all, as if it were asleep.

Thor took another small piece of bone from the other person, then resealed and reinforced the area.

The skeletal monster didn't react at all throughout the entire process.

A day later, Saul returned with a disheveled Byron and Clare.

The three of them stayed in the lab for another three days before coming out.

After that, Thor finally had time to listen to the butler Hope's report on the new developments at the Wizard Tower and to meet several newly joined wizards and wizard apprentices.

When these people first met Saul, they were all silent and trembling with nervousness.

Saul also noticed that one of the apprentices hadn't been breathing at all, and he wondered if he would faint from lack of oxygen after going outside.

After meeting these people and hearing the butler's report on the recent situation, Saul nodded in satisfaction.

However, at the end, when Thor asked the butler if there was anything he could do, Hope hesitated for a moment before saying, "Master, our wizard tower is currently limited in both size and height. "Yes," Thor said with a sigh.

He raised his hand and touched the wall beside him.

"I'll communicate with them tonight."
