Chapter 711 Six-pointed Star
Chapter 711 Pentagram
After binding the skeletal monster, Thor used the large amount of magic crystals he carried to create an underground sealed area.
This sealed location is a purely physical confinement cage created by Thor after extracting and reinforcing metallic elements.
Thor then painstakingly removed a small section of bone from the skeletal monster, buried it under his own skin, and then sank the enormous monster into the black sand.
As large amounts of black sand covered the monster again, it gradually calmed down.
"The black sand here is mixed with a large amount of inerted Kuroshio pollution, which seems to have a certain sealing effect on the anchor point." Looking at the monster that had quieted down, Thor was also inspired. "It seems that even if Senior Byron's inerting experiment cannot be scaled up, it still needs to continue. The black powder formed after inerting may be able to save everyone's lives in the future."
Faced with the unknown Kuroshio disaster, the more prepared we are, the better.
Thor left a message for him under the Gate of Death built by Noah, and then, seeing that the one-day cooldown was over, he immediately left the Chaotic Realm.
Back in the original world, he was still in the basement of the old manor.
At this moment, the black tide was no longer present in the sealed room he had temporarily created.
"The Black Tide that came into contact with me before was taken to a part of the Chaotic Domain by me, but there must still be some left here. The room is unusually clean now. Sure enough, when there are no eye of the storm or anchor points, the Black Tide mostly hides underground, and it causes very little pollution to the people living here."
This also confirms Saul and Byron's research on the Kuroshio Current.
Thor originally wanted to use the newly acquired skeleton to test the black tide in the room again, but after thinking about it, he gave up.
He opened the sealed wall above his head and crawled out of the silent basement.
As soon as he returned to the hall, Saul saw Kismet sitting on the floor, idly playing the harp.
I hadn't seen him for six months, and he looked exactly the same.
His aura and magical fluctuations still resembled those of a second-tier wizard.
Only his eyes and brows showed a hint of composure and a reduction in melancholy.
"What are you doing here?" Thor asked.
Kismet smiled. "I'll put on a show for you."
Without waiting for Saul's agreement, he increased the speed of his playing.
As the clear, melodious string music began, two men dressed in black wizard robes, their faces concealed, descended the stairs from the second floor.
Saying they walked down is inaccurate, because they were actually dancing on their tiptoes.
Their toes kept rising and falling, and their hands and arms drew rather ungraceful arcs in front of their chests.
Their heads were tilted slightly to one side, trembling with the swaying of their bodies, as if the necks connecting their heads had become springs, and if they made any big movements, their heads would be bounced off by the springs.
This duet was neither graceful nor comical; it only sent chills down one's spine and made one's toes, arms, and neck uncomfortable.
Thor looked away and turned back to Kismet.
"Who are these two people?"
"The wizards of the Stargate Council," Kismet answered Thor's question while playing his instrument. "They're secretly following Diudiu, perhaps trying to find out where you're going."
"I jumped up after I saw Diudiu, but you weren't up there at all. I figured you might come to Old Manor, so I brought these two along too, so they wouldn't end up like me, looking for nothing."
"Hehe, look how kind I am!"
Thor just wants to say that Kismet and kindness have nothing to do with each other.
"Is being kind just killing them and then dancing like a clown?"
Kismet pouted. "I was so bored waiting for you that I had to pass the time by rehearsing dances. Did you think their dancing looked like clowns? Sigh, they have no talent at all."
Kismet slammed his hand down on the strings, and two wizards from the Stargate Council collapsed to the ground with a thud.
Finally, I can die peacefully.
"Why are the Stargate Council wizards following me?"
"They probably want to invite you over, but I don't recommend you go now, since they're conducting a very uncertain experiment."
Kismet always has his sources.
Thor didn't mince words either, "What kind of experiment?"
Kismet raised an eyebrow. "Stargate observation experiment."
"It was indeed a very dangerous experiment." Thor sneered. He hadn't forgotten how the Stargate Council had secretly targeted Peer, making her the coordinate for opening the Stargate.
To this day, Thor has repeatedly had Nerella try to call out to Pelle, but there has still been no response.
"Didn't the Stargate Council want to use the Stargate to leave this world? Now that the Stargate has been opened, do they want to relocate immediately?"
"They would like to. But their strength doesn't allow it. Without the strength of a fifth-tier wizard, to rashly go to the other side of the star gate... well, it's as stupid as jumping off a cliff and expecting to be caught by a tree branch."
Thor nodded in agreement. "So, they're testing the waters now. Currently it's observation; the next step is to send someone over, right?"
At this point, Thor paused for a moment.
"Then I really should go over there."
Kismet waved his arms exaggeratedly, "It's dangerous, Master!"
Thor chuckled lightly. "Where isn't dangerous?"
Kismet laughed and dropped the pretense. He stood up, supporting himself with one hand, and pulled a scroll from his sleeve with two fingers together. He bent down and held it out to Thor.
"You're right. If you're aiming for promotion, there's no place that isn't dangerous. So, I think you're already prepared to open this scroll."
After Thor solemnly accepted the scroll, Kismet stood up. "You don't know, but in order to retrieve this scroll, I made a special trip to the Burial Sea beneath Sky City, venturing deep into the most dangerous and darkest part of the ocean to bring you this cursed scroll that has been sealed for hundreds of years."
He tugged at his collar, revealing a patch of bloody, mangled skin below his collarbone.
The Burial Sea is an extremely dangerous place, capable of leaving an incurable wound on a fourth-tier wizard.
"Do you need me to treat you?"
"No need," Kismet said with a grin, adjusting his collar.
That's most likely a disguise.
Thor hadn't forgotten that the other person was also a master of illusion.
He bent down, disassembled the cylinder outside the spool, and poured out its contents.
It is neither parchment nor silk.
The substance that fell from the cylinder resembled a veil woven from fine metal threads, flowing like mercury into Thor's palm.
A cool and delicate sensation came from my fingertips.
Thor carefully unfolded the paper woven from extremely fine metal wires.
But there was nothing on it.
"What is this?"
Kismet said softly, "This is the method by which the previous owner of the diary... oh, I mean the method by which a true owner like you would advance to a fourth-tier wizard."
The previous owner of the diary?
The wizard who created mountains and seas of corpses, yet abandoned everything.
Thor became much more cautious. He lowered his head again, his mental energy covering the metal wires and paper.
The next second, Thor's brain jolted, and a crooked pentagram appeared in Thor's eyes.
He felt a sharp pain in his eyes and instinctively closed them.
When he opened his eyes again, his hands were empty.
The pentagram pattern appeared prominently in his spiritual body.
The colors were incredibly dull, as if waiting for someone to light them up.
