Chapter 585 The Short-Lived Apprentice

"They came out completely unharmed?" a voice sounded behind Noah.

Noah's wildly beating heart finally calmed down a little at this moment.

He lay on the ground and turned his head to see Brown, the wizard who was leading his hunting party.

"Lord Brown." Noah tried to stand up, hoping to make a good impression on the wizard.

But his bravado did not bring him any benefits.

He jogged all the way out of the mushroom forest and saw the wizard Brown and his companions outside.

He slowed his pace, calming his breathing and heartbeat, which had quickened from running.

"Lord Brown, I've already tested this place—"

The sound stopped abruptly, and my racing heartbeat seemed to be paused.

Noah, his mouth slightly open, fell straight down.

"Bang!"

The dry, hard earth stirred up only a little dust.
