Chapter 574 The Knight's Ferocity

Chapter 574 The Knight's Ferocity

"Which of you is Thor, the wizard from the Spirit Cleansing Wizard Tower?"

Across the Rhine Lake, a person clad in full armor transmitted a deep, clear voice.

This person is... a knight?

At a distance, Thor couldn't clearly sense the fluctuations of his opponent's mental energy. But the imposing presence of a heavy cavalryman and the gallows beast beneath him were terrifying.

I glanced at the diary, feeling a little timid.

Great, no response.

Thor stepped forward, walked to the lakeside, and raised his voice in response, "It is I!"

"very good!"

The person opposite nodded, then squeezed the gallows beast's waist with both legs and charged directly at Thor!

The gallows beast's heavy hooves slammed into the solid ice of Lake Rhine, creating cracks all over the ice surface.

Fine ice shards flew up, reflecting the dazzling sunlight.

The charge of the gallows was accompanied by the sound of ice cracking, booming loudly.

Despite being just one person, he possessed the terrifying aura of a thousand troops charging towards Thor.

Thor felt a gust of cold wind hit his face, making his skin sting.

He remained expressionless and took two steps back.

The algae sank into the ground, revealing sharp teeth; Ann and Herman simultaneously conjured their soul weapons, standing in front of Thor, ready for battle.

"Hmph, is he ignoring me?"

To everyone's surprise, the old witch stepped forward on her own initiative.

She raised her hand and held it out, and Thor immediately noticed that the air in front of her seemed to have frozen.

The gallows beast was incredibly fast, rushing towards them almost immediately after the group finished setting up their defenses.

"boom--"

Like two enormous rocks colliding, the gallows beast slammed into the transparent wall of air released by the old witch.

The enormous sound seemed to make the entire island in the middle of the lake tremble!

Despite the intense impact, the gallows beast was not harmed in any way. It merely shook its head slightly in confusion before recovering.

The old witch, who was performing the spell, did not look too good.

Even though her face was hidden under the huge hood, Thor could feel her anger.

The heavily armored knight opposite him snorted and pulled out a cone-shaped spear from behind his back.

The gun tip drew a semicircle in the air, creating a gust of wind, before piercing the invisible wall in front of him.

"Creak—"

An extremely piercing sound rang out, causing Thor to frown deeply.

With a flick of his wrist and a push, the opponent actually pierced the invisible wall with his spear.

Once the magical defenses are breached, the original magical structure collapses instantly.

Without resistance, the spear moved forward again, heading straight for Thor's head.

Thor stepped back again, his eyes fixed on the sharp tip of his gun.

"If you've come to kill me, could you please explain your grudge first?"

He continued to play the role of a harmless doctor.

"You killed Langwen, who was my friend." The knight opposite actually answered.

But even when he answered Thor, his attack did not falter in the slightest.

"What Longman? Friend? Are you pretending I don't exist?"

The old witch had already finished the next spell.

She rubbed her palms together gently, and several small tornadoes were born from her hands, quickly swirling towards the limbs of the gallows beast.

The gallows beast was incredibly strong, but the tornado didn't try to withstand its power head-on. Instead, it disrupted the gallows beast's balance as it moved, making it unable to move and causing it to slip and slide in place.

Seeing the gallows trapped, the knight rolled to the side, dismounting from its back and avoiding two small tornadoes that were swirling towards his arms.

Even after dismounting, the knight remained incredibly agile, dodging the old witch's attacks in just a few steps, and once again swung his spear straight at Thor.

The old witch quickly turned to the side, raised her hand again, and another invisible wall trapped the knight.

Just like when she banned Thor.

However, the knight's mental energy fluctuations were not strong, but his physical abilities were extremely formidable. The old witch's air confinement technique could not completely restrict his movements.

Watching his battle with the old witch, it was clear that he also possessed the strength of a second-tier wizard.

He's just a second-tier wizard specializing in melee combat.

Thor did not actually regard the other man as a knight just because he was heavily armored and riding a beast.

Although the opponent's magical and mental energy fluctuations were very weak, the strength and resilience to withstand witchcraft were something no knight could achieve. There must be some kind of witchcraft principle involved, but he had not yet discovered the secret.

Perhaps once the trick is found, the opponent will be as vulnerable as a paper tiger.

Thor still didn't make a move. He stood behind and watched as the knight, relying on his fine armor inscribed with magical circles, withstood the old witch's attack, then took the opportunity to break free of his restraints and thrust his spear at the old witch.

The old witch should be happy; she has finally succeeded in drawing away the knight's fire.

Thor squinted, watching the other person's movements intently.

However, under the influence of meditation, he felt that the person in front of him looked exactly like a corpse.

Those twisted movements to the extreme, those incredible explosive forces, are often beyond the capacity of ordinary bodies to withstand.

Thor could see that with each of his opponent's attacks, his body was suffering irreversible damage.

He scrutinized the other person's movements and suddenly noticed something amiss.

"This person is very agile and strong, but his neck seems a bit stiff."

Thor observed for a few more seconds, a smile appearing in his eyes.

I've discovered your secret!

The old witch now only regrets that her body has not fully recovered, and the efficiency and intensity of her spells have not reached the required level.

They actually fought several rounds with someone who was wielding a long spear wildly and had absolutely no wizarding grace!

On one occasion, she even had to flee in a disheveled state, widening the distance between them once again.

Just as the old witch was thinking about how to take down the big guy in front of her, she suddenly caught a glimpse of a small patch of black out of the corner of her eye.

Although her mind hadn't fully processed what Thor was doing, the old witch instinctively cast the air imprisonment spell again.

And this time, her spiritual body trembled violently, almost using up all her magical power!

The knight was imprisoned once again.

However, just as he was about to break free of the restraints with his body as before, a black light suddenly flashed across his neck.

The knight looked down, then his gaze kept shifting.

The earth and sky intertwine before my eyes.

Finally, he saw his headless body.

The knight stopped moving; his powerful physique, which had just been so imposing and had withstood the onslaught of a second-tier wizard, quickly lost its vitality.

The old witch turned and glared at Thor. "You brat, who gave you permission to intervene?"

Thor smiled, about to explain, when his expression suddenly changed.

"Watch out, he's still moving!"

The old witch immediately realized something was wrong when Thor changed his expression, but she was a beat too slow to dodge.

A cone-shaped spear pierced her chest with a whooshing sound.

The old witch glared angrily, but her face showed no sign of pain.

She grabbed the spear that had pierced her body, and an invisible wave surged up the wall and towards the knight's headless body.

Witchcraft and flesh clash once again!

Thor was puzzled. He had clearly severed the point of convergence of magic, so why could the other party still move?

Could it be that this body is controlled in some other way?

The person in control must still be nearby.

Thor's gaze fell on the severed head lying on the ground.

The moment he lowered his head, the head that had been lying motionless on the ground suddenly opened its eyes.

The moment their eyes met, Thor suddenly felt a violent tremor in his spiritual body.

When he came to his senses, he found himself standing in a large, square, completely enclosed box.

He couldn't sense any magic power within his body; only his mental energy was vibrating excitedly.

This environment looks so familiar!

Thor exclaimed in astonishment, "This is the consciousness space?!"

He was actually dragged into someone else's consciousness space!
