Death Wizard Diary.

Chapter 508 Resurrection? Zhang Su?

Chapter 508 Resurrection? Time Travel?

Thor looked down at his diary, still not fully recovered from his recent experience of death.

"What just happened? Could the golden pages be used for resurrection?"

The Death Wizard's Diary, capable of resurrecting wizards... seems reasonable enough?

Just as Saul was studying the diary, a carriage suddenly whizzed past his arm.

Thor looked up, and when he saw the passing carriage, his pupils suddenly contracted!

A simply dressed farmer was driving a flatbed cart piled high with straw. A pitchfork was stuck into the top of the tall stack of straw.

"Whoa!!!" Farmer stopped the carriage, turned around and apologized to Saul, "I'm sorry, young man, I was lost in thought and almost bumped into you."

Thor looked at the farmer, and without saying a word, raised and swung his hand down. Immediately, the black blade shadow that had been silently gathering behind the farmer severed the farmer's head.

The farmer was sitting, and as his head rolled down his shoulders to the ground, blood gushed from above his neck like a fountain. The blood quickly stained the straw behind him.

"It's not resurrection, it's a fresh start." Thor cautiously stepped forward and glanced at the farmer's body and head.

It is indeed completely dead.

"Why wasn't he afraid of my sorcery attack just now? Or does the Dark Spirit Blade also have an effect on this kind of illusionary space?"

Thor just ambushed the farmer. If the ambush was stopped by some unknown force, the farmer might not even realize that he had just been ambushed.

Thor didn't expect the Dark Blade to work properly, severing the farmer's neck.

After confirming that the farmer was definitely dead, Saul went to the haystack at the back and pulled out the pitchfork.

"Who are you? How dare you kill someone in front of us!" Two burly men appeared out of nowhere at the village entrance.

Their clothes were better than the farmers'; they carried short knives at their waists and wore short boots.

They appear to be village guards.

The two men had already drawn their knives at Thor and were running quickly toward him.

Thor casually swung his sword, splitting the Dark Spirit Blade in two, and sent it towards the two guards.

Saul then used a pitchfork to lift the haystack, wanting to see the "brother" who had once lain side by side with him.

However, Thor searched the entire haystack but couldn't find the body, not even a head!

Herman: [Strange, where did the red-haired boy's body go?]

An: [Master, look over there!]

Upon hearing this, Thor turned his head and saw that neither of the two guards was dead!

They did not appear to have been attacked by the Dark Blade, and were now only fifty meters away from Thor.

The witchcraft... failed again!

Thor immediately turned around, iron fork in hand, ready for battle.

Suddenly, one of the guards threw his dagger at Thor.

This was actually a rather reckless offensive move; he threw out the only iron object he had without any spares.

"But he threw it quite accurately."

Seeing the dagger falling towards him, Thor immediately raised his fork to try and deflect it.

However, when the iron fork in his hand struck the blade of the short knife, it was easily cut in two like tofu!

Thor was unable to block it. He immediately retreated, trying to dodge the attack, but in the next second he found that the short knife suddenly accelerated and pierced through his abdomen in the blink of an eye!

"I can't block it, I can't dodge it..." Thor felt the excruciating pain surge through his body again. The moment he was injured, he lost control of his body.

Thor collapsed to the ground, but this time he was still alive.

Two guards then arrived.

"He actually killed Uncle John!" someone said in grief.

"Such a ruthless person, perhaps he is also involved in little Claude's disappearance."

"I think he killed young Claude!"

"Yes! Let's lock him in the cellar and let the village chief deal with him!"

"But the village chief is so soft-hearted, won't he spare his life?"

Another guard suddenly slashed Thor's neck with his knife. "Don't worry, even if the village chief has a soft heart, he won't be able to spare his life. This way, we'll find the murderer who killed little Claude, and everyone won't have to live in fear anymore."

"How cruel." Thor was unable to move and could only silently endure the pain.

In truth, with his willpower, he could have stood up even after being stabbed three more times. However, the peculiar environment here caused him to enter a near-death state as soon as he was injured, only able to blink.

Agu asked worriedly, "Could this be some kind of world where death causes endless regression?"

An disagreed.

An: [That world side is really just wasting energy with nothing better to do!]

Two guards dragged back the coachman's body and the dying Saul on a cart.

This time, Saul sat side by side with the driver on the flatbed cart again.

But this time, the diary didn't appear until he was dragged into a cellar at the village entrance.

You are about to bleed to death.

coming!

Death warning alert!

Thor was mercilessly thrown down into the cellar by the two guards and then slammed heavily to the ground.

The two guards then locked the cellar door and disappeared.

Saul guessed they must have gone to find the village chief. But the chief would definitely take some time, making sure he died before the "soft-hearted" chief arrived.

Thor was indeed nearing his end.

The massive blood loss caused his vision to blur.

He turned his head away helplessly and suddenly saw a pair of wide-open eyes.

The owner of those eyes seemed to be hiding in a large wooden box in the cellar, head down, with only his eyes and the red wisps of hair below them visible.

red?!

Thor stared wide-eyed, trying to see the person inside, but the person's nose was blocked by the wooden planks of the crate.

Even though he could only see part of the face, Saul still believed that it was the red-haired, big-nosed little Claude that the coachman had mentioned missing for several days.

Could the other party have been hiding here all along?

wrong!

Thor's consciousness was already somewhat blurred, and he could only think slowly, "If it's from this angle... little Claude should be... curled up in the box with his head on the ground... or just... his head..."

The world before Thor's eyes turned black again.

【you are dead. 】

……

Thor opened his eyes and confirmed that he was back outside the village.

Herman: [Master, the rules here are too difficult. Let's turn back immediately.]

Thor turned around and, unsurprisingly, did not see Marsh or the carriage behind him.

"No, once I stepped into a certain area, I couldn't move any further."

He wasn't particularly alarmed; he simply called out his diary and flipped through the golden pages.

Saul is certain the diary will save him. But he's unsure of the cost of each rescue.

If I die twice, wouldn't that mean I've already used up two golden pages?

Thor winced in distress.

Fortunately, the price he had to pay wasn't that high.

Only the first golden page has changed.

The image above changed from Saul dying in a haystack to Saul dying in a cellar.

In the painting, he stares at a large box in the corner of the cellar until his death.

Saul put away his diary, already certain in his heart.

"It's not this eerie village that's rewinding time, but the diary. But that doesn't explain why the corpse in the haystack ended up in the cellar the second time."

Ann: [There's another problem. These people initially said that young Cloud was missing, but then they immediately speculated that he was dead, and they firmly believed this!]

Just as Agu was about to speak, An blocked the page of his book, and only then did he peek out.

Agu: [...Yes, I was thinking of that too. Also, the driver's strength differed depending on when he was killed. This might be due to some kind of rule, something you should be careful about, Master.]

Thor nodded. "That's right, I've been thinking about it too. What's preventing me from attacking them? Do I have to resort to a sneak attack?"

Saul killed the coachman a second time by sneak attack.

But he felt it wasn't that simple.

Just then, a flatbed carriage grazed past his arm...

Poor Thor, it's been a long time since he's been this miserable.
