Chapter 484 Contract Fairy

Based on Char's description, Thor believes that someone is deliberately preventing ordinary people from leaving the city.

However, this method of prevention is far too domineering.

To leave, you must die.

Thor couldn't understand why he was doing this at first.

Preventing ordinary people from leaving is actually quite simple. No matter how many ordinary people there are, they are powerless against a wizard.

Julie seemed thoughtful upon hearing this.

Thor asked Char, "Although you say you don't know, you must have some doubts in your heart, right? Otherwise, you wouldn't have only come to us."

Char's shoulder muscles were tense and looked unnatural. "Anyway, I'll suspect every possible enemy."

"Then why don't you suspect us?" Julie asked, biting her lip.

She doesn't usually have much contact with Char.

She could understand why Char invited Thor and Jonah, but not her own.

So she had some doubts... whether Xia Ya liked her.

"Jonah never goes out to capture evil spirits; he only focuses on his experiments. He has no understanding of the evil spirits of today. Thor... everyone knows he just left the Wizard's Tower and came to Archaeologists; he couldn't possibly have any connection with the forces here. As for you?"

Xia looked at Julie with a complicated expression.

"You specialize in the light attribute, and it's very weak. Controlling evil spirits is too difficult for you."

As soon as Char said those words, Solton immediately felt a surge of anger erupt from Julie beside him.

Thor coughed twice, not wanting to waste time listening to others argue.

If Char really wanted to kill her here, Julie wasn't confident she could escape.

This Char has a foul mouth and is mentally unstable, but his attack power and ability to control the battlefield are quite terrifying.

"What if we agree to your request here, but then back out later, or even spread the plan around?" Thor asked at this point.

He asked the question not because he himself would do it, but because he was worried that others would leak the information.

He doesn't like being betrayed by his companions.

Char understood what Thor was talking about, and he took two scrolls out of his sleeve.

"This is a secret contract, a product of the contract fairy. We agree on the contents, write them down, and sign our names, so we don't have to worry about anyone leaking our plans."

"A contracted fairy?" Thor took the scroll, unrolled it, and examined it closely.

Char didn't stop him.

Before a wizard can sign a contract, he must first understand the contents and the medium of the contract.

If Thor hadn't examined things carefully, Char would have suspected that Thor had some kind of conspiracy.

"How did you do that? You have both a spatial teleportation array and a secret contract with a contracted fairy?" Julie asked, looking at the document carefully after Thor had examined it. She was filled with disbelief.

The fairy race is much rarer than the elves and dwarves of the past.

The origins and habitats of fairies are not recorded in lower-level wizarding books. Perhaps higher-level wizards know more, while lower-level wizards often only know the name of this race.

Only companion fairies, which need to live with wizards, are relatively common.

Contract fairies are even rarer than companion fairies.

"You don't need to know the source," Xia Ya retorted, dismissing Julie's question. "Contract fairies are also called curse fairies. Once you break the contract they witnessed, you will be subjected to endless harassment."

Perhaps fearing that Thor might not understand the contracted fairies, Xia explained, "They may not be able to kill you, but they'll wait until one of your crucial experiments, then suddenly appear and cause trouble, making your years or decades of hard work go to waste. Thor immediately asked Penny in his mind, "How powerful is the Cursed Fairy?"
