Chapter 441 Teaching Plan

Chapter 441 Teaching Plan

As they were about to leave the forest and enter the town closest to the Wizard's Tower, Thor's carriage passed another single carriage.

The driver instinctively looked over.

His hat was suddenly knocked off, and a white mushroom began to writhe violently.

The coachman's expression changed, and he called out to the departing two-horse carriage, "Was that Lord Saul?"

The two-horse carriage did not stop, but gradually slowed down. Seeing this, the driver immediately turned the horses around and chased after it.

The turn was so sharp that the people sitting in the single carriage were almost thrown out of the window.

However, when he heard the driver call his name, the anger that had just appeared on his face disappeared.

He leaned his entire upper body out of the car window, clinging to the window frame and shouting, "Senior Thor! The Principality of Knas has suddenly invaded the Principality of Kema! There are heavy casualties on the border, and Grand Duke Kira is being besieged by several second-tier wizards..."

As they were talking, the carriage caught up, only to find that the driver was a woman.

And judging from his attire, he's a level three wizard apprentice!

The other person looked over with their chin raised and said casually, "The Tower Master has already gone to the Duchy of Kema. Your information is outdated."

"Really?" The apprentice who caught up was taken aback at first, then breathed a sigh of relief.

With the Tower Master's assistance, even the most powerful second-tier cultivator is no match for them.

He pulled the carriage back in and said to the driver in front, "You did a good job, but there's no need to chase after them."

The coachman continued to shake the reins, moving closer to Saul's carriage.

"Lord Thor, are you embarking on a long journey?" The mushroom-headed coachman asked anxiously as the carriage windows of the two carriages were side by side.

"It's you." Thor finally leaned out of the carriage window and saw the driver's familiar face, as well as the mushroom hairs on his head that were swaying anxiously from side to side.

"Yes, I probably won't be back for a long time," Thor replied with a smile.

He was still a little puzzled as to how the mushroom driver had realized he was about to embark on a long journey.

The driver became even more anxious upon hearing this, "Then, sir, let me drive for you? The journey is long..."

The coachman glanced at Herman, who was sitting in the driver's seat. "You might need a more professional coachman, which would free up that wizard to handle other matters for you."

Thor's final destination is the No Man's Land. Although he planned to go to other places before that, the coachman who accompanied him would likely die on the way.

Saul didn't answer immediately, but Ann, who was sitting opposite him, put her arm around the car window and rested her chin on her hand, saying, "We're not going on a picnic; people can die on the road at any time, you know."

The driver said anxiously, "It's alright, sir. I'll hide if anything happens. If there's any real danger, you don't need to save me!"

An's eyes lit up, and she darted back into the carriage. "Master, let's take him with us. This guy is practically invisible when he hides!"

Saul looked up and met Ann's gaze. "Indeed, I've noticed that too, but I don't know why. Do you know why?"

An smiled slyly, "I remember his situation. Most ordinary people die quickly after being parasitized by demonic creatures, but a few lucky ones adapt to the host and can even feed back at the demonic creature, achieving a state of mutual prosperity. This coachman is likely one of them. The mushroom parasitizing him is weak, but incredibly resilient, and almost invisible—the kind of creature that could survive even a natural disaster!"

"Wow! I want that ability too!" Herman exclaimed as he drove the carriage ahead.

But Agu and Morton exchanged a glance and made no comment.

Hermann finally stopped the car and moved aside, seemingly to make way for the mushroom-driving driver.

The mushroom coachman quickly and steadily brought the carriage to a stop, then looked at the wizard apprentice inside.

"Go ahead, go ahead." The apprentice in the carriage showed no sign of reluctance; he was happy to make some connections with Saul in this kind of place.

It's important to know that it's usually very difficult to meet one of the tower master's personal apprentices.

An, still leaning against the car window, said with a grin, "Thank you, sir. Are you a fire elementalist?"

The apprentice, left alone in the carriage, was secretly delighted and nodded quickly.

An stretched out her hand, and a small crack appeared in her palm.

A dark red, speckled egg, not much bigger than a thumb, was squeezed out.

With a gentle tremor in his palm, the egg landed in the other person's hand.

"Flamingo eggs, but they need a corpse to hatch, so you'd better hurry!"

The apprentice was overjoyed. He had seen the name Flamingo Owl in the registration room before, but the number of credits required to redeem it was too high, so he could only sigh in vain.

I never expected to get one so easily today.

"Thank you, my name is Philip, I'm a Level 2 driver..." He looked up in surprise, wanting to further deepen their relationship, only to see that the Mushroom Driver had already climbed onto the opposite vehicle and driven away impatiently.

It felt like someone was chasing after me for a debt.

Ann casually waved to Philip and then retreated back into the carriage.

Philip held the flamingo egg in disbelief, but then he remembered, "Right, we need to find a corpse to incubate the egg as soon as possible... I remember it doesn't have to be a human corpse, it can be a large wild animal's..."

Thinking of this, Philip suddenly paused.

How could he remember... that the girl just now had an egg taken out of her body?

A few drops of cold sweat instantly appeared on Philip's forehead.

……

Thor's carriage passed through the town closest to the Wizard's Tower, but did not stop. Instead, it drove directly to the lakeside cottage that Thor had rented in the suburbs.

There are some of Thor's belongings here; we should take them with us.

Having a familiar and experienced coachman is so convenient. Thor only mentioned it once, and the mushroom coachman quickly drove to the destination.

A portion of the algae's clones remained outside the lakeside cabin, and when they arrived at the destination, the algae hopped and skipped to collect them.

While everyone else was packing up, Xiaozao returned with two items for Thor.

A somewhat crumpled letter.

A notebook with a plastic cover, soaking wet.

"What's this?" Thor took the two items.

Xiaozao: "..."

Little Algae: "Aba aba aba..."

Agu came over carrying a stack of books. "Master, I suggest that Xiaozao learn to recognize and write. It can leave clones everywhere, and these clones have a certain level of consciousness, making them excellent monitoring material. However, if it discovers something but cannot accurately inform you, its monitoring ability will be greatly reduced."

"Hmm," Thor nodded, looking at the two items in his hand. "That's right. Although Xiaozao and I can exchange some vague information through our mental connection, it's naturally more accurate to express it in writing. Xiaozao's mouth structure probably prevents her from speaking, so learning to write and recognize characters needs to be put on the agenda."

Thor has already decided to make Little Algae a monitoring device for his wizard tower.

Compared to the fragments of vengeful spirits in the black iron coffin, he naturally trusts Xiaozao more at the moment.

Ann dropped what she was doing and ran over to join in the fun, "Haha, I can teach it to whisper the dead."

Morton continued, "My Noah is not bad."

Agu smiled, almost as if he wanted to push his glasses up for him, "I have a wide range of interests."

As they were talking, the group finalized a teaching plan to improve Xiaozao's cultural level.

The little algae has no eyes, but judging from its head that keeps looking left and right and swaying...

It must be very happy, right?

The next chapter will be in the evening.
