Chapter 383 Absolute Suppression
Chapter 383 Absolute Suppression
"Who, who are you?" Kongsha heard her own voice trembling.
What was happening before her eyes was completely beyond her comprehension.
Not only did the person she had been suppressing get up from the ground unharmed, but the surrounding environment also completely changed.
The circular hall has been transformed into an empty stone platform.
The stone platform was surrounded by darkness filled with stars.
The stars twinkled, as if someone was watching them.
Under the gaze of this eerie starlight, Kongsha trembled all over.
She didn't know how she got to this place. The power here was even more terrifying than the consciousness space of an elf!
Kongsa thought her mental state was about to collapse.
But no, her mental state was more stable than ever before!
She hadn't experienced this sense of peace and tranquility in a long time.
"Now you should know me."
Seeing Kongsha's terrified gaze fall on him, Thor's facial muscles began to twitch and distort.
A few seconds later, he transformed into the familiar appearance of Kong Sha.
However, the boy from before was now a head taller than Kong Sha.
"Sol?"
Upon seeing the familiar face, Kongsha's fear subsided slightly, and the will to survive began to emerge.
She tried to break free of the tentacles binding her by using the power of the Elf King, but found that the beautiful head was no longer with her.
The head that had already established a connection with her did not come with her to this strange and terrifying space.
But she wasn't in a hurry; instead, she secretly mobilized her spiritual body to send out a call.
Finally, large patches of shimmering black began to appear around her body, as if a pen was constantly blackening the air.
But before Kong Sha could be happy, she noticed that the blackness around her was rising rapidly, as if it were being attracted by something.
She looked up at the departing shadows and was astonished to see a huge, thick-covered book floating above her.
The book, when laid flat, was several tens of meters long and more than ten meters wide.
She had never seen such a big book before.
But the size of the book didn't surprise her. What truly astonished Kongsa was that the book was absorbing the spiritual power of the Elf King she had painstakingly summoned.
Even more terrifying, Kong Sha only looked at the book for a few seconds before she felt her mental energy being drained away.
She quickly looked away, staring at Thor in disbelief: "Who exactly are you?"
She dared not look up at her head any longer, nor even ask Thor what was above her.
"Do you remember when I killed West Germany, you asked me why West Germany went to such great lengths to deal with me?"
Kong Sha's eyes widened. "So, so that's what it was all about..."
She didn't dare mention the presence above her head; she already felt immense terror.
But if Thor had such a terrifying trump card, why did he let himself get hurt just now?
If he were to take the thing off his head directly, even the Ancient Soul-Devouring Swamp would probably not dare to move again.
Moreover, how could an apprentice possibly control such terrifying power?
Kongsha, of course, was unaware that Thor could only utilize the limited power of the diary. Its power could only be sensed within his consciousness platform. But even this power was merely intimidating; Thor could not actually use it.
Like those golden pages, they're just pretty to look at.
However, it's incredibly convenient for intimidating enemies.
Unable to draw upon the power of the Elf King's head, Kongsha was no match for Thor. Even ordinary level three warriors couldn't defeat Thor, let alone Kongsha, who was still only a level two apprentice in order to replace her locator.
And Kongsa understood this as well.
Her legs went weak, and she was pinned down by the tentacles all over her body, collapsing to the ground helplessly.
"So, while I was tempting you to lose control, you were preparing to drag me to this terrifying place. Ha, no wonder you kept your teeth clenched and refused to open your mouth."
She seemed a little lost in thought. "I kept babbling on and on, waiting for you to lose control. You've made a fool of yourself in front of everyone."
"So villains are easily killed by talking too much," Thor thought expressionlessly.
Although Kongsha talked a lot in order to induce him to have a mental shock and then lose control.
Sol will not give Kongsa a chance to turn the tide.
He knew that although the woman in front of him seemed to have given up, her mental energy was still active... she was still trying to find a way to escape from here.
"Konsha!" Thor called out, making Konsha look up at him.
Then, he stretched out one hand, and a mercury dressing mirror appeared in front of Kong Sha.
"So this is what you look like."
The mirror clearly reflected Kong Sha's soul, which appeared to be only eighteen or nineteen years old, at the height of her youth and beauty.
Kong Sha looked at herself in the mirror and slowly opened her mouth wider.
She touched her face gently with her hand in disbelief.
Unlike her earlier gesture of stroking the Elf King's face, her fingers were now moving cautiously, trembling slightly, as if afraid that if she used too much force, she would shatter the illusion before her.
Now, she had absolutely no intention of escaping, turning the tables, or admitting defeat and begging for mercy to wait for an opportunity...
She just wanted to look at herself in the mirror, to see the version of herself that Gorsa had forcibly erased.
While Kongsa was engrossed in her reflection in the mirror, mouths containing sharp teeth opened from the suckers of the octopus tentacles that bound her.
Kong Sha was unaware of the murderous intent emanating from all around her. Perhaps she was aware, but chose to remain indifferent because she knew she was powerless to resist.
Only when several tentacles bit into her soul did Kongsha's lips tremble slightly, but her eyes never left the mirror.
Thor stood behind the mirror, expressionless, watching as Kongsa's soul gradually faded and thinned.
He raised his right hand, and the diary above his head quickly shrank and fell, quietly hovering above his palm.
The diary was still open at this point, and several more lines of prophecy had been added to it.
When Konsa was led into the palace, the diary had warned Saul of impending death. But Saul only glanced at it before setting it aside.
In his plan, he also prepared several countermeasures, some of which could just avoid Kongsa's deadly move.
Seeing that no new notifications appeared in the diary, Saul flicked his finger, and the diary snapped shut.
swish swish—
Four figures appeared behind Thor. They looked at Kongsa, who was fading away, and their eyes showed fear.
The longer they stayed in the diary, the deeper their fear of it grew, and the more unfathomable the diary's owner, Saul, became.
What kind of person could control such a terrifying being?
Just as Kongsa's figure was fading to the point of almost disappearing, Thor suddenly withdrew all his tentacles.
He sent the four consciousnesses back into the diary, then opened and closed his eyes, escaping the consciousness battlefield he had painstakingly built.
In the real world, Thor was still pinned to the ground by several icicles, while Kongsa, who had been squatting beside him, had already collapsed.
After absorbing Kongsha's spiritual energy in the battlefield of consciousness, Thor's previously turbulent mental state has returned to stability.
The magic resumed its flow within his body, and with a jolt, he shattered the ice shards that had pierced his hands and feet and were no longer under his control.
Then a spell scroll appeared out of thin air between Thor's fingers; it was a minor healing spell.
A flash of white light, combined with Thor's own healing abilities, allowed him to stand up without any difficulty a few seconds later.
But Saul didn't stand up immediately; instead, he relaxed and sat down next to the fallen Kongsa.
In the distance, black tentacles and white frost were still intertwined, and palaces collapsed in patches.
The ancient Soul-Devouring Swamp seemed to have discovered Kong Sha's failure and was showing signs of retreating.
Suddenly, a "click" sound beside him drew his attention back.
Suddenly, half of Kongsha's glass skull beside her cracked open, and several eyeballs rolled out.
However, this person, who looked as if he were dead beyond any doubt, spoke.
Am I good-looking?
The voice was as faint as a whisper.
Thor sighed, his still-recovering arm draped loosely over his knee.
"You are the most beautiful."
